I am studying astrology, and have a question regarding an asteroid site...The time must be Universal Time, and I understand what that is. My question is this...being that my son was born at 6:41 pm, and my daughter at 10:02 pm, would I have to enter the following day as their birthday? One born in Cali, and the other in Colorado...I am so confused....

That is a GOOD question, and unfortunately, I will have to get back to you with an answer, because I don't know.

So Amph...can you answer this one for me? The link you gave me shows my birth at 20:21 GMT, but the Astrodienst page shows my time at 21:21...My actual birth time is 1:21 pm, born in Los Angeles, Ca...This could cause discrepancies in people's charts...thanks again by the way, you are one of the few who has actually answered any question of mine...Good things come to good people, trust me in that...

Hi blonderiverkat,

If you post all your birth details up, then I will find what I think the correct time to be and let you know what I think.

Hi blonderiverkat,

So you were born on 7th Oct 1960 in LA.

In 1960, daylight savings in LA ended on 25th September. So the timezone you were born into was PST, which is GMT -8. This means your correct time of birth was 21:21.

To ascertain correct time conversion, it is important to have the right year, given that daylight savings time changes from year to year.

Amph
