Just wondering your experiences with the transit of Pluto on your Sun?

I just heard today from a friend of mine, a private sort, that 2 1/2 wks ago (we haven't been in touch for about a month) it was discovered he had skin cancer on his face, so the doctors went in and dug it out, and basically pulled the skin on his cheeks over a bit for reconstruction.

His Capricorn Sun sits @ 6, Pluto is currently @ 4. So now I'm watching him in all eagerness to see what else Pluto has planned for him, but so far he's very optimistic and not in any dire straits. He's very hopeful in general, and not quick to depress.

Skin, largest organ, ruled by Capricorn/Saturn/Libra/Venus

Skin diseases ruled by Capricorn/Saturn

Cancer, the disease, ruled largely by Moon/Cancer (the sign) - secondarily by Saturn & Pluto

Skin cancer ruled chiefly by Saturn & Capricorn
.
.
.
Of course Pluto and Capricorn rule a whole host of other things in life, so care to share any of it?

I still have a while to go when it touches my sun (its 12d) but pluto conjuncted my natal mars cap 1d in 8th house. I was involved in serious accident that left me major damage to my right arm. After much surgery to repair it, its doing pretty good. They say whenever pluto transits, its life or death. Do not look forward to it conjuncting my sun then mercury in 9th. Hopefully it won't be too bad.

my daughter is 1 deg cap sun. she's only 4 but she's doing fine. really well actually. though i guess when it was on her sun direct she had some behaviour issues (her best friend has major behaviour issues, and is 2 years older, and some of that was rubbing off for a while).

well, i have a 0 degree capricorn sun in house 6, so pluto has been playing with me for a LONG time. finally tho, he is on his way for good......marching off toward my mercury. yikes...
during the last 4 years, i have been seriously ill more times i can count on two hands (intestines swelling nearly shut/partial blockages, docs didn't want to diagnose. they told me it was in my head, accused me of eating disorders. tried to get me to take anti-depressants etc. symptoms started when pluto was at 26 sag, but didn't get bad until 6 months later when pluto was at 28 sag)....finally diagnosed with crohn's disease in oct 2007 , diagnosed with cervical cancer in nov 2007(had hysterectomy jan of 2008, pluto at 29 sag. good thing too, it was worse than they thought), lost my job...boss messed me over and told all sorts of lies to my customers & co-workers. she fired me without telling me right before i was due back to work. she even tried to block my unemployment. the insurance company tried to stop payment of things they had already okayed, at one time i owed over 20,000 in bills. got that all straightened out, but i still ended up owing 4,000 (collection agencies breathing down my neck and everything) i have had appx. 7 hospitalizations since 2007 (and one bout of pneumonia when pluto was retro back to 1 cap) ,culminating with emergency small bowel resection surgery in september (pluto was at 2 cap) they took one foot of intestines and my appendix. it hasn't been all bad though, some good things have come out of it....i no longer work in misery, my diet has vastly changed..i'm healthier than i've ever been (aside from the obvious), i exercise daily and i work on keeping my stress down. also, i have learned to say NO and not feel bad or guilty about it!

Well in his case it could've been, but the growth was pretty apparent, and had been for a while, he just only recently got it checked out. The docs said because it was right under the skin, if it had gotten into the bloodstream it would have killed him fairly quickly. I don't know medicine well, so I'm going by what he was told.

Keep us posted, cappy I'm betting Pluto also gave you some strength to recover so well.

I'll get Pluto going over my Sun, but not until I'm in my 60s or so.

This is sooo true, you have to keep watch over the company they keep, such a huge influence. Glad to hear she's doing well.

(((persephone))) Wow.
I wonder if health matters were more pertinent with you as the transit was either in your 6th or nearing your Sun in the 6th. Can you comment on your natal Pluto and its house/aspects? Also natal Saturn or Jupiter, whichever rules your 6th?

boss messed me over

I've read about this a lot with Pluto in the 6th, I'm under that transit now.

Good on you!
I wonder now if Neptune was playing around with your chart regarding all of the confusion you had to put up with, Pluto makes sense for the backstabbing, unfortunately.

My Sun is at 5 degrees Capricorn (8th house). My Pluto is at 4 degrees Libra.

I think I'm doing alright. No medical issues to report. I have unfortunately gained a little weight in the past few months, but I don't intend to keep it.

I'm designing two of my gifts for Christmas this year. This is unusual for me, so perhaps the transformation is in the direction of following my creative tendencies.

To add my brother in law has pluto transiting his 8th house...(no cap planets but I think pluto may be squaring his libra sun). He was just released from hospital from ICU after a life or death situation. He got toxic shock syndrome from a strep infection & was on life support for 2 weeks. It was looking real bad for awhile but he pulled through.

I kinda think of pluto putting you through the wringer to let go of past habits that were detrimental to us. If you don't let go the 1st time, I don't think pluto will give you much of a 2nd chance.

lonake,
natally my pluto is at 29 virgo (square to sun, conjunct ic) and i think there was an eclipse at the degree that helped kick off the whole thing! other aspects are pluto sextile jupiter and neptune.
my 6th house is ruled by jupiter (sag), and my jupiter is 25 sco (5th house) wide conjunct with neptune at 1 sag (5th house)
yeah, i always figured the health & work issues since it is the 6th house (also oppose 12 house ruling hospitals?)
interestingly enough in may of 2007 when things were getting really bad, neptune was conjunct my north node (25 aqu) in the 8th house.

the backstabbing does makes sense with pluto involved, yeah. good luck to you with pluto transiting your 6th.....have you been ok so far?

honestly, i am grateful in many ways. i definately needed to get away from that horrible work environment and that woman in particular. i also realize i was on a path that wasn't very healthy for me, mentally or physically. during this time i also managed to quit a 20 year cigarette habit and gave up caffiene.
the learning NO was a really tough one for me, i have a libra moon

When pluto went over my moon and venus the doctors thought I had cancer. I had a mass that appeared cancerous. It caused all kinds of problems. I had it for years before it was removed and it was hard to function. I was always exhausted and my hormones were totally out of whack. I felt like I was dying -- I really felt that ill. I only realized after it was removed, three years later, that I had the hormonal imbalance from it, because I suddenly felt emotionally normal again. I used to get very angry, but I never did anything violent with it, but it was that intense. I blamed the low threshold for anger on other things and didn't think it was related to my health and the mass.

I also had an employer get rid of me because of dr's appts. My dr was furious! They wrote all kinds of letters for me and told me to tell my employer they did so if I wanted to go after them legally.

My moon/venus are in the 8th house. Venus rules my 1st and 6th -- both health houses.

Pluto can be life and death issues, but doesn't always mean death, sometimes just a brush with it. I will have it go over my mercury soon. It's in orb now.
