I recently read somewhere that a hard outer planet transit would be felt more by someone who has the same problem in their natal.
This goes against what I feel intuitively - I always thought that for example, a Plutonian would handle much easier a transiting Pluto square Sun than someone who has no harsh aspects whatsoever in the natal chart, because he has dealt with that problem his whole life. Same goes for Saturn, Neptune, etc (not outer planets, but ugh, Saturn transits)

What do you think?

I have read many times that if there is a transit that the natal person is not use to, the energy of that transit hits them harder...

I don't know. I think the opposite. If you have a lot of pluto contacts, especially to the planets being hit by the transit it's actually harder because it activated the natal aspects, which really determines if something happens. It's even more intense if the natal aspect is activated by transit.

i'm not sure if this counts but i have pluto conjunct midheaven, sextile jupiter and ascendant and neptune., quintile venus.

i have been going through plutto conjunct neptune, jupiter ascendant and now square moon. and no it is not easier. the only thing that has helped is my knowledge of astrology and the timing of events. its like i know whats going on but it doesn't make it any easier emotionally. perhaps easier in figuring out what the heck pluto wants from me but these transits have been a total utter b!t@h
