as a Capricorn rising, she feels a strong sense of duty and responsibility in life. perhaps she took on a lot of responsibility as a child. more than likely, it wasn't externally imposed, it was something that she felt innately that helped her to feel like she fit in with her family.

Virgo Sun in combo with that Capricorn rising is quite hard working and focused. Does she teach or perhaps travel as a part of her job. She is an excellent organizer and very good at seeing how things are supposed to go. She is passionate by nature but it doesn't look like she prefers to show that part of herself. She'd rather be seen as a bit self sacrificing and a hard worker who knows how to get things done.

Ask your mum what happened when she was 17 years old. If mums birthtime is correct her MC and AC received significant solar arc contacts at that age.

A couple of minutes difference in birth time equals a couple of years difference in solar arc timing.

Lots of things "happen" to people at age 17. But you were even wrong on this, no problem, "the solar arc was off" so it "happened" at 19. You ask anyone that and they will give you something that "happened" to them at a certain age. When I was 17, I had my wisdom tooth taken out. It happened to me. Whoa, amazing insight. How did you know? Those are some of the same tricks that frauds like john edwards uses to make people think that he is psychic.

Sanchenuss, welcome? back you sh!tstirrer.

Some folks give credibility to Solar Arcs, some don’t.
Some folks give credibility to past lives, some don’t.
Different strokes for different folks ya know, not everyone jives on the same groove.

Such as your recent thread on some physical symptoms that got the response that your Kundalini is rising. Had I responded, I would have recommended a strong laxative.

I hate to say it, but some people aren't supposed to be believers. There are lessons that come easier that way. If it feels right to do so and not from your ego, there are many articles floating around here on statistically significant transit/correlations in astrology. I also like the divorce marriage statistics on the zodiac signs. The series of articles here are interesting and statstically significant. Note the deviations from conventional astrology as well. http://www.suite101.com/content/marriage-and-divorce-for-aries-a46671

Interestingly, there are zodiac wheels on government landmarks and statues. Here's a picture of the one at hoover dam http://www.flickr.com/photos/josh1/4682395357/ Of course, I'm one of the anti-masons, anti-illuminati people. I believe some astrologers are there to mislead, but the science to it is in the dark ages for the most part due to the circumstances involved.

When someone asks help to believe in something it isn't meant to be believed. Why should your mom be a believer? What good does this do for her? Why is this necessary?

i thought it would make her belive some of the things about me.
idk, maybe something we can talk about.
and she likes mystical stuff, i just didn't want her to dismiss this without ever even being exposed to it, she laughs when someone brings it up, but she hasn't given it a chance so i just wanted to expose her to it before she dismisess it.

Your mom is mystical but not into astrology? That's strange. This could be a very good bonding experience between the two of you then.

try showing her this http://www.librarising.com/astrology/risingsigns/ristable.html

I used to do some things back in the day to convince my friends when they didn't believe..

I would go to thefutureminders.com and do a compatibility report using the same birthdate twice (in this way making it a natal report instead..) and this report was so good in its descriptions that it would make them go "holy hell..how did it know that about me"

Another thing I would do is tell them their zodiac quote and their lesson. Mine is "I feel" for example. and what I naturally teach others is that love is devotion and my lesson is to learn love is freedom. For all the signs: http://www.altrealm.com/english/chapters/2010-10-12/love-is-eternal/

The Legend of the Zodiac is pretty good, too. Show it to her. Here it is: http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=81039511785

One thing that may hit home also is if you read her the meaning of the sign and house of where her north node falls in at cafeastrology. Be sure to look at both the sun and house for a real breathtaker. http://www.cafeastrology.com/nodesofthemoon.html

The last thing I can think of is do the cafeastrology natal report and find the tightest aspect (smallest number) and look up on google what the meaning of that is. From my experience, it will really have a deep meaning for the person's life.

Astro.com astro-click portrait under free horoscopes is also very revealing...you could try showing that to her. Or just try one of the free short reports by liz greene on there..those cut to the chase quick.

Feel free to ask if you have any questions or need help in your quest
