When you want to look at a day a couple first officially met, would you look at Progressed Planets vs. Natal Planets or Progressed Planets vs. Progressed Planets?

From what I've heard, more emphasis is placed on Progressed in aspect to Progressed.

My opinion is the other has strong emphasis, for example your Sun progresses to a certain sign, you'll likely start meeting more people with that sign as their Sun/Moon or Asc, and be able to identify with them, they'll be teaching you something.

So you mean compare what person 1's progressions were that day, and what person 2's progressions were that day?

Yep, looking for conjunctions primarily bewteen inner planets, also conjunctions to natal or progressed angles, primarily Asc or Dsc. Trines too.

I see progressed to natal more often than progressed to progressed, but I see that too.

Progressed to a natal angle is really common. But also progressed to natal sun, moon, mercury, venus, and mars.

I've had quite a few people return when their p.sun or mercury was on my natal AC.

I've noticed when a relationship starts there's a progressed planet in aspect to the other person's natal personal planet.
