Okay, so jupiter is in fall in the 8th house in capricorn. It's dispositor by sign is saturn. It's dispositor by house is pluto. Both pluto and saturn are in the sixth house in scorpio. Saturn, I think, is good and comfortable here in scorpio, and is in accidental dignity by being in the sixth house. Pluto is exalted, and not in fall, and maybe leads to the transmutation of sexual energies into work and service for others. OTher than that I'm at a loss. How exactly can jupiter expand in capricorn? It makes good aspects to the moon and saturn, and saturn makes good aspects to the moon, so there is a moon, saturn, jupiter triangle, Jupiter sextile moon and saturn, saturn trine moon. Furthermore, there is a formation between jupiter venus and the moon in which venus is semi-sextile the moon and jupiter, and jupiter is semisextile the moon, as mentioned. So those are some of jupiters major aspects, and it's also on the shadow of the ninth house....I have double house/signs as well.....if that helps...but my main question basicaly is can anyone shed any light on this saturn jupiter interaction. Someone told me, an astrologer, that is saturn contracts and becomes more powerful, jupiter expands, and as jupiter expands, saturn contracts further......so as my limitations contract in the areas of health service and work, my luck with regards to the higher mind, and sex death and transformation expands? Yes,chart, please! Let's put it this way: jupiter & saturn are kids with same dad... Very much Alike,in harmony with each other, but is the mother that counts- i want to say they end up so apart, although same temperament, different character. discipline is the key to both planets, there should be no problem with them. Jupiter expands everywhere and in every sign. I always thought that jupter exalted in cancer, that luscious and fertile sign,is a taaad too much like,a loot Btw,fellow 8th H jupiter,oh,boy, does this placement scream i-am-sex-tantricSex-god or what?!?! ------------------ Leo/Libra/Capricorn IP: Logged |

Jupiter in Capricorn is great in business and really knows how to put across the professional persona when money and reputation count. They tend to be classy types.IP: Logged |

Rasberri: My father is a physician and he has helped me much, but there was a time when I blamed him for alot, but have learned to assume responsibility for my own lack of action in life. I do not know if I have a good business sense. Even when I have very little money I seldom spend it on anhything but food and commodities, perferring to forego or pass over more luxury items. I am also reluctant to borrow money, as is written about jupiter in the 8, as I am hyperaware of what comes with access to shared resources, and it reminds me of slavery. Here's the chart BTW i'm currently a smoker, and I have a sneaking suspicion that my chart either predicts lung cancer, or predicts no lung cancer because mercury is highly afflicted in the seventh, but at the same time I have a strong sixth house, i tseems... Anyways, you can see the jupiter and saturn relationship below IP: Logged |

I can give you all some history as well really quick.I graduated first in my highschool, I went to college and had a horrible first time relationship, as I went to an all boys school in highschool, and was not prepared to handle a sassy capricorn, who probably had her mercury in gemini horribly afflicted and retrograde, as well as a tendency to set double standards. I am naturaly good at art - I have won art competitions throughout my life with out formal training in the arts - dancing, painting, music, etc....are all things I enjoy and have excelled in. This is indicative and astounding considering my well aspected moon in pisces - almost a proof of astrology actually once you see the duality with the capricorn sun, and one of the reasons why I believe in the system. The duality is this, I have also been a stellar student, but I have always felt that in this life I was meant to start a business. Something really big, and that I had to sacrifice my personal desire to show off my "art" ability. I have also felt strong inclinations towards starting non-profits for reducing the issues caused by DUI's and just generally helping out the civil underdogs that no one offers repentance too. I never was into astrology, ever, not once did I look up a horoscope until two years ago, but the last year I have been studying it parallel to my other studies and I have absorbed much, my former manager is quoted as saying I learn as if by osmosis. My entry into this was jungian material I began studying to improve my music and learn to imbibe on by subconcious mechanisms such as those constructed by scales in music. I am extremely gifted in math. But here's the kicker, I've been in trouble with the law, nothing too serious, and I had to exodus my old college and transfer to a new one because of depression - and being closer to my parents, which is a huge source of strength for me...but they are not the type that is overbearing, rather they are cold and distance, which is a bitter irony, but also, I do not think I would have it any other way.. btw i've been graduated now for a few years, studying to become further certified in the accounting field. that's it. Thanks for listening to my little spiel, and now back to the jupiter saturn relationship, which has already been beautifuly fleshed out for me by the cordial posters above....any other iterations much appreciated. VenusDiSiriusYes! there is a strong sexual component to my nature that I have never been aware of before adulthood. It seems to especialy attract women and men alike, however I have never had anyone tell me they had a crush on me, or felt that kind of connection, so I think it's only sexual in nature, rather than a "good looks thing". I have also recently stumbled on to tantric practices and transmutation of plutonian energy and have recently realized much energeticaly speeking, but still feel that I am far off from what I should know, or am being led to by synchronicity. I am struggling to quit smoking cigarettes. I do not drink, once in a while I like to dabble in shamanism and go into the woods with my friend and smoke a duby. IP: Logged |

I have also had 3 concusions in my life from several incidents, some confrontational and others accidental. This is significantly a plutonian influence I believe, as when I am out of balance, I am at risk to recieve violent actions, or suffer by violence. I am a pacifist by nature.IP: Logged |

Ah rasberri, that does help in more than one way....You've actually reminded me of Ixion.I am of the camp, that believes the specific events in a mythology are irrelevant, and not as important as the general themes. It appears to me that any time someone is in a relationship, Ixion has a chance to rear it's overly dramatic head - if stories could have heads. Ixion the character, is different than Ixion. In general, this is a story of in-laws involving jupiter, and saturn, for Ixion attempts to surpass, or move ahead of his limitations(saturn) by beding the wife of a god, after this very God saved him from his own family affairs. So your jupiter and his saturn opposed is interesting, what houses and signs? This is a good way to flesh out the nature of jupiter and saturn in relationshps and for natal cahrts, we just discovered and Ixionic role....I'm guessing in an opposition Ixions place might be a key into reconcilling the two, or another obstacle to move around... Finaly.... Thank you very much for that compliment, about the writting, if you were referring to my writting and not someone elses that is. I take that seriously because I believe from what I've discovered here, that I am dealing with a crowd of people more educated than my regular bunch, stoners, street-poets, police, teachers, and ruthless overacheiving uncles. I have written much in brief stint of life living, and I always shove stories in my mom and brother and cousins face for them to read, I believe much to their repressed dismay - something about the plastique smile gives away the fact that they may only be reading what I've written not to hurt my feelings. Only thing is I'm pressed for time and my grammar my make me read like an uneducated fool child. IP: Logged |

I love to guess how people look like based on their sun/asc combo or asc/moon... Other planets are relevant if placed well, like on asc/mc/dc. And its very much possible to know all this, but i am still student What i noticed about u: your sun inconjunts asc(by sign, dont know do u have it by aspect) so your gene pool is very much gemini(u r fair-skinned,youthful,nice,acurate lines) but your sun gives it dark, cappy elements, teaches, modifys, brings to higher, more perfect level(that's what 150 aspect do). It tells u-see,u can look/ be better, there are some more ways... Same way gemini says to scorpio -ur brooding manner can be even mre attractive if i make ur face less rough, more ethereal (i hope i nailed this word, damn, spelling ) Its fine combo, that's why i asked ------------------ Leo/Libra/Capricorn IP: Logged |
