ok, i am obsessed with china and japan....have been since i can remember....i just looked at selected asteroids to help me determine why i love those countries soooo much....BUT, heres the thing, the asteroids i used dont make any aspects besides China sextile my sun and Kyoto opposite my Pluto...and whats funnier is that i'm more passionate about japan than i am about china!! lol

Personally I think astrology & asteroids work quite well but doesnt necessarily give you 100% insight into the the truth of your past. Inorder to be really accurate you need to combine that with your own past life memories.In my most immediate life-line before this one, I know I lived in the Northern British Isles from dreams I've had. A psychic even confirmed this & she thought perhaps I was Scottish. Anyways I've checked all major asteroids Scottish/British/Irish. None were really making any obvious, huge aspects to my chart. Besides, human nature has the tendency to be biased cuz of certain things. It's apparent how many young westerners are drawn to Japan first via things like Anime or the cute/kool things Japan makes. This is the same reason why American govt uses Hollywood pop culture to dumb out the younger general population. You have to ask yourself why you are passionate about something and not just immediately attribute it to some past life connection. My own example, as a small child, I was intensely fascinated & attracted to all things Ancient Egypt. I've since had past life recall as an ancient Egyptian...so it makes sense. Am I attracted to modern day Egypt?? not at all. I'm not attracted to modern day Britain either. I'm only really into the Victorian/Eduardian Era (whenever I watch era films)...obviously because my immediate life line took place during that time & place. This also goes for Planetary-NN/SN connections. I met a soulmate, & when I looked at his chart with mine...we had Venus-Mars/NN-SN connections. Astrology books would dictate that in past incarnations we were lovers. Uhhh NOT SO according to my dreams. He was my father in at least 2 life-lines. I dont doubt he could've probably been my lover or marriage partner before in some other life-lines...but what about the fatherly connections?? Why doesnt our current charts show a Sun-SN connection? if i had a past life where i was japanese it would make sense however i dont know of any of my past lives...and i'm not attracted to modern day japan and i like anime because i like japan, not the other way around...the one era i am the most attracted to is the feudal era..specifically the 13-14th centuries...i do strongly believe i was japanese in a past life but i have no way of knowing for sure..from your experience at least i know now that i can still have been from a country and the asteroids not show it
edit: oh and a side note, i study Japanese on my own...have been doing it since i was a kid...i'm also learning chinese

okay, I can understand the obsession thing with china and japan because i have it myself, there is also an asteroid called asia I think..you might want to check that onethe other thing to look at is astrocartography..you can do charts at astro.com and see if you have major lines going through either country. just thought I'd mention my sun is at 25 deg leo, I have a scorp asc, I had a quick look at the charts for japan and china but there are three for both and nothing jumps out though I wonder if its "old" japan and china you are more drawn to..in which case you'd need to find the dates of the old dynasties. Nicki me too! I love feudal Japan. That was one of my few male lives and I loved it! I also lived in ancient china as a warrior too  .In my chart china conjuncts psyche/kaali and squares Saturn. Hong Kong Squares my karma exact! Kyoto squares my sun/uranus and sextiles my jupiter exact. Can't find anything else. Kat was talking about her son dreaming of the word kamagaya which is an asteroid that heavily aspects everyone in her family and is near Tokyo. You know ironically I have a bunch of egyptian aspects and I know about some of my egyptian past lives.. I never liked egypt much except for the middle period  . IP: Logged |

Hey Nicki...nice hit on the asiajust found this whilst looking for something else The Dalai Lama has the asteroids Apollo and panacea at 206 degrees from the Midhaven, approx 25.5 degrees Leo, his great change in life comes from the inability to solve the problem with China, he must feel like he is banging his head against a brick wall, it has caused him huge changes in life style and career and location. its that 25 degree leo point?
