I have a blind date coming up with a guy who has his saturn quintuxting my stellium of 4 inner planets. It's better than what I usually get when I do synastry between me and another person- I usually have no saturn aspects at all with them or on rarer occasions theres a square. Does the quintux even count in synastry?

Yes it counts, but it has a minor influence. If it's anything larger than a 1 degree orb, you won't really feel it.

Is a 1% orb the same as a 1 degree orb? I'm using the astro.com software.

It's best if the quincunx from his planet turns your stellium into a Yod.

1% orb is really teeny tiny. It's not the same as 1 degree.

I'd put it at 20% on astro.

Ah... doesn't show up until 30%. Oh well. Guess there will be nothing holding us together after all. No point.

Doesn't seem to happen until 30%. Oh well guess there will be no stability in this one either. No point.

What I don't get is how come if I have his birthtime right (which isn't guaranteed as he just went by what his uncle told him) his saturn is conjunct my IC and my saturn is conjunct his ascendent- Yet somehow the program still doesn't see this as saturn square saturn at any percentage. Also my mars is only 2 degrees away from being directly opposite his saturn and yet the program doesn't count these two planets as opposite even at 100%.
