I have that same stellium in my 9th house with the Saturn retrograde. I have been clinically diagnosed as depressed. I refuse to take medicine because of the effects, but I believe therapy helps a lot though I often have relapses, I am able to live a rather normal life for the most part. But when I am low it is very rough. I'm not sure if it's that stellium because I'm pretty most of us 89 ers have it. Do you have your Saturn one degreefrom your Neptune too?

It's your T-Square

Moon in Aries square the opposition of your Saturn-Neptune in Capricorn and Chiron in Cancer

Moon square Saturn-Neptune and Chiron
suggests that the combination of structure, discipline, practicalness, ambition, inspiration, idealism, imagination
are at odds with your holistic awareness, and they are in conflict with your emotional nature, feelings, and instincts
There could be emotional wounds in regards to matters involving spirituality, materalism. There could be a suppression of your spiritual, inspirational nature at the expense of realism but it can also work the other way.....there spiritual, inspirational nature could be too spacy and interfere with making practical judgments. There could be feelings of insecurity, inadequacy.
All of this can be connected to important female figure like the the mother.
There is potential to be a grounded, spiritual, holistic teacher, healer.

Saturn-Neptune hard aspects can indicate chronic health problems.
the Moon square Saturn-Neptune can indicate a chronic emotional health problem like depression and anxiety.
There can be feelings of suffering. You can have compassion for others that have problems.

The Moon is square retrograde Saturn which makes it more serious, reserved and feeling restricted, limited. It could be connected to important female figure like the mother.
Moon square Saturn is a strong indicator for potential to be depressed.
There is potential to be ambitious, disciplined, and structured.

Your Moon square retrograde Neptune indicates that your emotional nature is so sensitive that you're an emotional sponge that could have problems with absorbing too much stuff around you. This can lead to feelings of confusion and uncertainty. There could be be an overidealism and deception. This could be connected to an important female figure like the mother. Imagination might influence emotional perceptions.
There is potential to be spiritual, inspirational, creative, compassionate.

Your Moon square Chiron indicates the possibility of having an emotional wound. There can be feelings of inadequacy as well as feeling like you don't fit in with society with you being a nonconformist. It could be connected to an important female figure like the mother.
There is potential for healing and teaching.

You also have Moon quincunx Pluto which indicates that the emotional nature is intense. You could be forced to make adjustments to transformation your emotional nature. There could be issues dealing with power and needing to get rid of things that have outworn their time. This could be connected to important female figure like the mother.
There is potential to be powerful, transforming, and be a catalyst

The combination of Moon square Saturn-Neptune,Chiron,quincunx Pluto indicate a highly subtle, reserved emotional nature that is highly complex to the point that it can feel misunderstood which can lead to feelings of depression. There could be feelings of guilt over the pain of others as well as your own pain. In order to resolve the pain, you have to confront your pain and not be blind to it. You have to learn to forgive and let go in order for you to be whole in mind, body, and spirit. Then you have the potential to be an influential healer and teacher.

There might be overall karmic issues that need to be worked out with an important female figure like the mother.

Depression can be a very serious problem.
It can be looked down upon as a character weakness even though it can be legitimate medical problem.

Depression can even be caused by stress

If a person is overloaded with stress, the cortisol levels greatly increase which leads to depletion of serotonin.

That's why it seems like many highly sensitive people have been taking SSRI's for treating depression. Those same SSRI's are even used to treat social anxiety disorder which is a pathological type of shyness. Many highly sensitive people can come across as being shy. That goes especially if they are in surroundings that they are not familiar with or in negative surroundings.

Omega 3 fatty acid deficiencies can lead to depression too. Symptoms of Omega 3 fatty acid deficiencies are hypersensitivity.
If you're hypersensitive, you're more likely to be easily overwhelmed by the environment which can lead to burning the Omega 3 fatty acids more than the average person which can lead to the need to replenish. This could also be the case for people that are ultrasensitive in general. In society, ultrasensitive are viewed as being too sensitive. Therefore, they are viewed as needing medication by people who look down on ultrasensitivity.

People with neurological differences are more susceptible to depression and anxiety disorders than people with so-called normal neurological systems.

Anxiety and depression tend to be co-morbid. A lot of people with anxiety tend to be depressed. A lot of people with depression tend to be anxious. SSRI's are used to treat both depression and anxiety.

It could be a combination of insecurity and ultrasenstivity to the environment. Omega 3 fatty acid deficiencies are strongly connected to neurological differences too.
A good source of Omega 3's are fish, algae, and flaxseed.

Vitamin B complex and Zinc is important in helping people deal with stress as well as the immune system. If you're stressed, your immunity can get compromised.

I know all this from personal experience.
I have had suicidal thoughts, feelings before. I have never attempted suicide. My mother has had numerous suicide attempts. My maternal grandfather committed suicide. One of my maternal aunts has been diagnosed as having a depressive disorder after being involuntarily hospitalized, and she's on medication for depression. Therefore, depression runs strong in my family. They are also ultrasensitive people with neurological differences too.

Anxiety and Depression can be two sides of the same coin. Both can be connected to a ultrasensitive nervous system. A lot of people don't understand.

I also want to inform that anxiety and depression can be connected to vestibular disorder aka inner ear disorder. Inner ear is important for equilibrium. That affects the brain functioning too.

Hormonal imbalances can also be a source of depression. A matter of fact, testosterone was used as an antidepressant to treat males. Males with lower levels of testosterone can be susceptible to depression.

Allergies can also lead to depression. Antihistamines used to be some of the first antidepressants.

Depression and its causes are not cut and dry. They are complex.

holly you are sick and depressed because that is the only way that you know how to think. It is the conditioning that you were raised on. Depression and pain is how your parents taught you love. But this is a corrupt form of love. You don't know any other way because it was instilled into your subconscious at a young age. You said that you like pain. Do you see? You are keeping yourself in this depression because you want to. When you decide that you want to be happy then happiness will come to you. It is that simple.

I just don't come across it anymore too often. I am too numb. I just wish I could feel again.

You will feel again. Your body is tired of feeling through pain though. That is the message that it is trying to get across to you. Now it is time for your body to feel through love. The time is ripe for you to learn to love yourself. Then the feelings will reemerge stronger than ever.
