I not against religion at all.. I think everyone needs something to believe in..

What I no longer believe in is the church..

I feel churches have turned into a "business"

For me I dont think you need to go to church to believe, or have faith.. As long as you live a good life, and do whats right, then in the end, nothing else will matter...

Uranus in Libra in the 5th
Uranus trine Saturn
Uranus sextile Mercury
Uranus rules my 10th house

I think that having Uranus in easy aspect to my Mercury opposite Saturn adds an extra element of intellect. Mercury opposite Saturn is disciplined. Throw Uranus in, and it's genius, because of the myriad of ways it can look at something. It injects its erraticism into the realm of structured thought offering up outside-of-the-box ideas.

I agree I think it does add a different effect to have Uranus connect to mercury..

I have
Saturn sextile Merc
Merc sextile Uranus
Uranus trine Saturn.

I also think out of the box, and find new ways to solve problems... I can just see the outcome.
I can visualize the trial and error in my head, and can see what works what doesnt...

Im a huge "What If" person...

Wow, Uranus!

Well, I have Uranus

conjunct ASC
opposite Moon
square Venus
trine Mars-Jupiter conjunction
sextile Sun-Mercury conjunction

so, yes, I am highly Uranian

It is the strongest influence in my chart. But it could be a torture as well. I'm not allowed to have a close relationship and I don't think I will ever get married. Which is ok because my feelings change very often and one day I could be almost obsessed with someone only to feel indifferent the very next day. Freedom is essential to me in everything I do. I just need to do things in my own way and to have a time of my own.

I think fast and talk fast, frequently changing the subject and confusing so people around me. Sometimes I have difficulties articulating myself in a rational way, sometimes I miss words or can't form a clear thought.

I walk fast and I'm pretty much accident prone. I break things
I'm impatient.

I don't think I feel Uranus' energy as electrically as others might...since it's only cooperating with my chart. It's kind of like a helpful, weirdo geek.

Wow! Well, this sort of resonates with me. I don't rule out that I'll ever find a partner in life, but freedom is essential to me, and I also like to do things in my own time. I won't be normal, and I accept that. Mercury is my chart ruler, and as I said Uranus is connected to it nicely.

I am a very Uranian type and it includes the following things about me:

I have a strong interest in science fiction since childhood. I definitely love Star Wars and Star Trek stuff. I also liked the science fiction cartoons like Voltron and Robotech. I have both the Robotech and Macross DVD collections.
I had a strong interest in science in childhood that I was given a chemistry set for my birthday.
As a child, I'd fantasize about being an inventor or mad scientist.
I was interested in astronomy since childhood. a friend of mine gave me a Star Wars book that talked about the planets in our solar system and other stuff in space.
I had dreams of flying including flying in outer space. I also had dreams of space ships and flying starfighters.
Of course, I am into Astrology and other metaphysical subjects. I would like start my own astrological practice. I recently joined an astrology group in my area.
I liked reading about inventors like Thomas Edison.
I am liberal in both social and political ways.
I am a lateral, outside the box thinker which is connected to my Dyslexia,Dyspraxia, and ADHD
I am a novelty seeker, and I strongly suspect that I have the DRD4 7R gene which is strongly connected to novelty seeking and both ADHD.
I have very quick reflexes and can have unusual energy bursts of speed. I can be unpredictable in my actions. I'd made a very good defensive back because of great speed, quick reflexes, and my ability to suddenly adjust that leads to intercepting passes.
I can be very spontaneous.
I have a wild streak.
I tend to be accident-prone because of my clumsiness and impulsivity.
There has been lot of instability in my childhood.
I had a rebellious side of me that got me in trouble at home and in the navy
My path is neurodiversity advocate/activism.
I have been referred as weird as a teenager because of my being odd. I resemble somebody with Aspergers Syndrome. Before early intervention special education therapies, I resembled somebody
with autism that got me misdiagnosed as intellectually handicapped as a kid. I was tested later on and found to have above average intelligence.
As a special education student in 1st and 2nd grade, I was not the norm. I was easily singled out and was called "retard" by many normal children. I was viewed as being "special" I felt like an outsider since then.
In my last year in the navy, I was diagnosed as having a schizotypal personality disorder because of being odd and unusual. It was better than being diagnosed as having psychotic disorder.
Schizotypal Personality Disorder is a label that psychiatrists give to people that are eccentric loners.
Because of my appearing abnormal in regards to my speech, I was diagnosed as having bipolar disorder w/ schizoaffective disorder
As a multiethnic person, I never fit in an ethnic box. I felt like an outsider because of my multiethnic ancestry. I was one of only 2.5 percent of US Census takers that identified as multiracial in 2000.
My parents, an interracial couple met in the very liberal, progressive city of San Francisco, CA which is my birthplace. San Francisco's Sun is in Aquarius.
In the navy, I was a telecommunications operator. I was operating computerized message processing equipment called NAVMACS which is Naval Automated Communications System.
Of course, I love the internet.
I definitely had romantic interests that I met not only on the internet, but in Astrology chatrooms. 1 woman had Sun,Mercury, and Venus in Aquarius. Another woman had Sun-Mercury trine Jupiter-Uranus conjunction. Another woman had Moon in Aquarius. Another had Venus oppose Uranus.
I was romantically interested in an English penpal who had Sun in Aquarius square Uranus in Scorpio. She actually had Sun,Jupiter,Saturn,Uranus grand cross. She was one of the catalysts that got me into New Age/Metaphysical/Astrology.
I was romantically involved with a woman whose Moon in Scorpio may have been conjunct Uranus in Scorpio.
I have alternative religious,spiritual beliefs
I never felt comfortable with organized religion
I am a member of an interfaith unity church
I am a freethinker
My favorite music tends to be electronic types of music. I love dancing to techno. I love listening to New Wave.
I had history of messing around with electrical outlets.
My hair tend to have a lot of static electricity.
I don't fit male stereotypes. I have been mistaken for being gay. I have even been called gay slurs since high school. A lot of it has to do with the way that I speak which may have more to do with verbal dyspraxia. I had speech problems that required speech therapy.
My finger ratios are outside the male norm. My index fingers are longer than my ring fingers. Therefore, I have very feminine finger ratios.

All of my close relatives have strong Uranus influences in their charts, and that includes my mother. They are Uranian in their own ways. I think that I come from a family of DRD4 7R gene/ADHDers on my mom's side of the family.

My Uranus is unaspected which Noel Tyl says "peregrine". Noel Tyl says that peregrine planets run away with the horoscope.
Uranus is my oriental planet. That means that it's the last planet clockwise to my Sun. It is said to be the guiding planet, and it strong figures into vocation.

I have Uranus in 15'17 Libra in 2nd
trine/sextile Midheaven/Imum Coeli in 11'14 Gemini/Sagittarius
sextile/trine Antivertex/Vertex in 14'58 Leo/Aquarius

Antivertex/Vertex is an auxilliary Ascendant/Descendant axis

My Geocentric South Uranus Node in 12'04 Sagittarius in 4th
oppose/conjunct Midheaven/Imum Coeli in 11'14 Gemini/Sagittarius

Heliocentric Uranus Nodes in 13'51 Gemini/Sagittarius
oppose/conjunct Heliocentric Venus in 14'35 Sagittarius
oppose/conjunct Heliocentric Jupiter in 14'01 Sagittarius
square Ascendant/Descendant axis in 13'27 Virgo/Pisces

Heliocentric Uranus in 14'14 Libra
sextile Heliocentric Venus in 14'35 Sagittarius
sextile Heliocentric Jupiter in 14'01 Sagittarius
sextile Heliocentric Mercury in 17'01 Sagittarius

Heliocentric nodes of all objects move up 1 degree per century. They are associated with collective.
Geocentric Uranus Nodes move very slowly too. Much slower than outerplanets and transneptunian objects.
They are associated with collective too.

Carl Payne Tobey, Grant Lewi, Dane Rudhyar, Diana Rosenberg, and Robert Blaskche are/were astrologers that used Heliocentric Nodes. Cosmobiologist Pamela Rowe does too. Heliocentric Astrologers use them too. Philip Sedgwick is one of them
Jeffrey Wolf Green,Zipporah Dobyns, and Theodor Landscheidt are/were astrologers that used Geocentric Planetary Nodes.

Heliocentric Chart is said to be about higher self, christ consciousness

My Mercury,Mars,Saturn,Uranus,Sedna, and Ascendant aspect each other via 11th harmonic http://s134.photobucket.com/albums/q112/Astynaz/?action=view¤t=11thHarmoni cpattern-1.gif

They have corresponding midpoint pictures that include following that involve Uranus:
Uranus conjunct Mercury/Ascendant midpoint - '13
Uranus oppose Mars/Saturn midpoint - '36
Sedna oppose Mercury/Uranus midpoint - '17

Mercury,Mars,Saturn,Uranus,Sedna 11th harmonic configuration http://s134.photobucket.com/albums/q112/Astynaz/ ?action=view¤t=MercuryMercuryMarsSaturnUranusSedna11thharmonicconfig.gif

Mercury,Saturn,Uranus,Sedna 11th harmonic Isosceles Trapezoid
Mercury/Sedna midpoint oppose Saturn/Uranus midpoint - '01 http://s134.photobucket.com/albums/q112/Astynaz/?action=view¤t= 11thHarmonicIsoscelesTrapezoid-1.gif

11th harmonic has Uranian,Aquarian,11th house characteristics. It is said to be about instability, rebellious, social consciousness, and affinity with computers/technology.

I have Uranus golden section aspects that include the following.

Moon 137'30 degree Uranus - '23
Midheaven 124'22 Uranus - '19

Theodor Landscheidt devised golden section aspects, and he used a 1 degree orb. He did an article on them. The interpretations for the aspects that he gave were from Reinhold Ebertin's Combination of Stellar Influences (COSI) book.
He just interpreted the combination of the planets.

I really can't figure out why I'm not more unconventional. I want to conform a ton, but it's 30 minutes conjunct my sun in the 5th and 11 minutes trine midheaven and my ascendant, sextile my mars. People tell me I'm extremely different to the degree that it's almost bothersome. I try not to think about that which is maybe why I don't feel it? Maybe the pluto opposite moon makes it feel uncomfortable.

Here's my chart.. http://i1212.photobucket.com/albums/cc457/xatnes/solrclnat.gif

Yeah

I looked at your chart

not only is your Sun conjunct Uranus less than 1 degree. That Sun-Uranus conjunction is oppose/conjunct the Heliocentric Uranus Nodes in Gemini/Sagittarius under 1 degree
they probably aspect the Geocentric North Uranus Node in Gemini and/or South Uranus Node in Sagittarius. The Uranus Nodes aspect the Ascendant/Descendant axis and Mars.

actually

in heliocentric chart:
You have Earth conjunct/oppose the Heliocentric Uranus Nodes in Gemini/Sagittarius

Are you unusual in any way?

heck...you're at this forum. You're into metaphysical subjects including Astrology.
that fits with being highly Uranian. The stuff that you type in this forum can easily get you viewed as being unusual.

being unconventional is not about wanting to do unusual things. It's just being unusual and/or doing unusual things that's just being who and what the person is. That's how I am.

most of my life, I did my best to conform. I wanted to be normal. That stemmed from my special education past where I was obviously abnormal. Of course, I wanted to be the opposite to be treated the same as everybody else.

Getting into New Age/Metaphysical/Astrology and Neurodiversity is what got me to embrace myself.

Now I believe that norms are a joke.

Heck..I'd rather even be with a woman that's not normal.

I have a very Saturn influence overall
I also have a Virgo Ascendant. It's my only Earth.

You have a lot of planets in Earth signs. 4 of those planets , Mercury,Venus,Jupiter, and Neptune are in Capricorn which is the sign ruled by Saturn. Your Venus in Capricorn sextile its dispositor, Saturn.
That could reflect you wanting to conform.

You might even have some strong Saturn midpoint pictures. Maybe even some Saturn declination stuff

btw
Pluto is a nonconformist object
It has a highly eccentric orbit and it tends to orbit well off the ecliptic. It has an inclination of up to 17 degrees away from the ecliptic. Uranus doesn't have a highly eccentric orbit and it orbits on the ecliptic. It's unusual in how it tilts on its axis. That is about it.

Pluto actually is more nonconformist than Uranus.

so a Moon oppose Pluto would also indicate a nonconformist

Ahh thanks for explaining that. I just figured the moon opposite pluto made me insecure which it does. I know, my oddness has always worked in romantic situations where people seem pretty well satisfied with me for being different (I told a guy if he bought me diamonds I'd leave him). I just get tired of feeling so alone all the time which is why I like to be alone where I at least feel like myself. It's proably just denial. I know I'm extremely different.

I also moved a ton and went to schools that very rich/affluent as someone who was more impoverished. I think I had gone to 9 different schools by the time I was in 10th grade.

I'm attracted to unusual things and people.
I myself am unusual and quirky...or so I've been told.
I need to have freedom to be myself in the workplace. I want to fit in and I want to stand out. I'm not traditional but I am at the same time. I think my Uranus aspects make unbalanced or maybe balanced. ?Hmmm?

I guess the same applies to the Heliocentric chart but I'm still learning about it.

That's pretty much how I am too. It seems my whole life is spent trying to find a middle ground that satisfies all the sides of myself. Like I'm a very responsible person but I also need freedom. The two do not mix very well. Especially having a child and having to work six days a week. If I don't do it we don't eat ya know.
Sometimes I'll find myself being late on a bill as an act of rebellion though-hahaha.

Fortunately, I have my writing, which satisfies a large part of my need to be free. Still want to take off to somewhere quiet and pretty for a couple of days (weeks, months, years) and just sit and veg. No concerns, no thoughts about what needs to be done. Just being and doing what I WANT to do. Ahhh. I can almost feel it now. I'm definitely going solo this year when vacation time rolls around.

The only aspect we have in common though is Uranus trine Midheaven. But my Urnaus is in the 6th house also which is Libra but Uranus is Virgo.

I have a couple of conjunctions, Venus and Pluto. Oppose Moon. Sextile Neptune.

Here's my chart if anyone wants to take a gander and I'd love to hear any thoughts/interpertations anyone may have.

Well...I would love the freedom of not being troubled by others. That's really the draw of being a monk or a hermit: the fact that no one's really going to ever cause you to have an emotion again.

I'm only half-hearted in not wanting to be troubled by people. I like people.

Really, my kind of freedom is the freedom to change. Most of the time I don't like sour cream on my burritos, but occasionally I do. Shouldn't ever be questioned on inconsequential changes. More than that, though, you can't grow without changing, so if I want to take a certain direction because something in me yearns for it, I should have that freedom. That's freedom to me.

I bought a magnet once. It hangs on our refrigerator. It says, "Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about CREATING yourself."

Here's my freedom song by an Aquarian singer, Tim Booth:

I Believe

You're so strong it really is a mystery
You give your power away
You give your rower away

Why be a song when you can be a symphony?
Don't give your power away
Don't give your power away

I believe
I believe we are free
To be chained
To be slaves,
To be chained or
To be FREE

I believe someone's watching over me
I believe in the dreams that set you free
I believe
I believe
I believe

This one's good, too:
Hit Parade
A song written by Tim Booth and Angelo Badalamenti
Artist: Booth And The Bad Angel
Album: Booth And The Bad Angel
Year: 1996

Lyrics:

Awake bear the mark and wear the crown of thorns
Awake build me up and knock me down
Now that I'm free
You can be cheerleader in my hit parade
Now that I'm free
Now that I feel

Awake put it down and walk away
Awake I don't care what you say

Now that I'm free
You can be cheerleader in my hit parade
Now that I'm free
Now that I feel

All those ghosts all those dreams
My desire was overwhelming me
Found my peace
Found my needs
I'm no longer a broken dream
All alone
All alone
All alone
All alone

Awake made it to the other side
Awake I will not be sacrificed, again

Now that I'm free
You can be cheerleader in my hit parade
Now that I'm free
Now that I feel

You will do me no wrong
You will do me no wrong
In my hit parade
In my hit parade

Uranus in the 1st

square Sun
conjunct Moon
trine venus
trine mars
conjunct Jupiter
mercury is in Aqua (Uranus ruled)

For better or worse I can agree with most of what has been said regarding charts touched by Uranus.

Uranus is *heavily* aspected in my natal. In fact, it's the most aspected planet in my natal.

Uranus trine Sun
Uranus quintile Moon
Uranus trine Mercury
Uranus square Venus
Uranus bi-quintile Mars
Uranus trine Jupiter
Uranus opposite Saturn
Uranus quintile Neptune
Uranus conjunct Pluto
Uranus semi-sextile North Node
Uranus trine ASC
Uranus sesquiquadrate MC

whew! that's the whole list.

Yup! I'm pretty "Uranian". All of the usual sterotypes. Quirky, eccentric, thought of as "weird". I like freedom, and doing my own thing in my own way, and on my own time. Makes me a loner. Occasionally, I can be really smart and come up with something original. Definitely think "outside the box." Found out I'm a natural with computers. Rebel when authority tries to ram their ways down my throat. Don't like to be told what to do AT ALL. Love CD's, DVD's digitally downloaded music. HATE vinyl records! I like looking forward when it comes to electronic gadgets and such. Love the way technology always changes. VERY attracted to original, talented, genius-types. Aquarians seem to *love* me. They flock over to me from across the room. Since age 4, I've always had at least one close Aquarian in my life. I really like intelligence in a person, to a point of being in awe of people who are scientists, scholars, etc...
