What do you think of doing this? Comparing a partner's progressed chart to yours.

I just saved my p.chart as a natal and also another's and compared, and there's a Mercury conj Sun DW.

Would this have any importance?

What I look at in progressed charts in synastry is comparing progressed to natal, But what do you guys think about

What a coincidence, I was just comparing progressed charts to natals.

I came across a discovery, that my progressed chart is almost identical to the natal of someone who I've admired for quite a while. In fact when I first met him my progressed Moon was even conjunct his natal Moon at 24 Scorpio. I'm only 3 weeks older, so I suppose this can happen pretty often.

But I get a bit confused when you combine two progressed charts together. I mostly just look to the progressed Moon & ASC. aspects for any clues to a current theme between two people.

Yea that's v. significant.
That's why I believe in comparing progressed to natal since I see that type of occurrence all the time.

And then also for natal charts, to compare your natal chart to your progressed chart, it has a huge influence.

Have you interpreted progressed composites at all? It seems like it really highlights why certain people may have a certain affinity that may not show up in the usual composite.

Hard to say, when would the effect take place?
Say I just met someone in Jan of '11, would the progressed composite automatically be in place? Or are you just looking at it for long lasting relationships?

I guess comparing the progressed composite of when you first met the person and then to the present, and then to the regular composite to the progressed. Lets say in the regular composite Venus is conjunct Chiron, and in the progressed chart Venus is now conjunct Juno. And the Progressed Moon is conjunct the ASC. and conjunct Pluto in Scorpio. Which totally contrasts with the regular composite which has Capricorn Moon in the 3rd house conjunct Neptune.
