Hi Glaucus,

I can't seem to locate my book "A Combination of Stellar Influences" and I was wondering, when you have a moment, could you look up Ebertin's explaination/statement on the midpoint picture:

Moon=Jupiter/Pluto

I have Noel Tyl's books, but I need to know what Ebertin has to say.

This is not time sensitive so don't rush and thank you in advance for helping or at least considering.

I don't have that book any more. I had it back in 2006, but I lent it to a person that was a fellow astrology class student. I never got it back from her. I didn't bother to ask for it back.

I have Ruth Brummond's Rulebook. She's a Hamburg School/Uranian Astrologer. Ebertin's system is based on much of Hamburg School/Uranian Astrology.

Oh,thread for glaucus,great!
Glaucus,little question if u don't mind...
I have been studying fixed stars for some time now,and i did astro's chart for fixed charts,where i got,among other,latitudes for personal planets. Are those valid for determinating parallels and contra-parallels?
Also,on cafeastrology site,i found some explanations for parallels,and sun parallel asc part,too. How to see whether ur eg sun parallels asc or mc? Latitude for asc?

Astrologers that use parallels and contraparallels are using the declinations which are equatorial latitude coordinates.

there is another set of latitude coordinates, and those are the ecliptical ones. Planets tend to stay on the ecliptic any way.
Astrologers don't use them.
