Astrology is based on a chart and calculations that differ from Astronomy. Astrologers have always known this. Astrology =/= Astronomy. They are almost completely separated minus the names of the planets and stars used.

BLUGREY,

Yeah I kinda thought so too. I mean even if the signs shift, aspects/degrees between planets dont change. Since astrology relies heavily on aspects between planets....

Linda actually wrote about this, so it's been around for a while. Her take was based on the symbolism of Astrology (it being both art and science). Long story short, it doesn't matter.

The tropical zodiac, which is what most Western Astrologers use, is based on the northern hemisphere seasons. It is not based on the stars like the sidereal zodiac.

Both zodiacs are different from the 13 unequal constellation zodiac.

Raymond
Sun in tropical Scorpio
Sun in sidereal Libra
Sun in constellation Virgo
