after reading and writing about the south and north node, i am begining to feel strongly that the NN and SN are a stronger part of us than we realize. sure its not that much of a "personal point" since its generational, But it is a personal point if you consider the houses its in. and even generation points in a chart taht everyone has is personal, because those same points are in very different charts anyway, which makes them personal to each of you. whats the sign of your SouthNode? (opposite sign of your NorthNode) how much affinity do you feel with that sign?

My SN is at 26Can in my 5th house.. I do feel its a big part of me.. I also feel like all my flings are fated, that Its meant to be even the small ones... I feel my SN also conflicts with me also, my venus is also in cancer, so Im comfortable with Cancer placements, but I just cant see to stay happy... I very annoyed at cancer placements (no offense to any one) I just cant deal with all that emotion... But my venus loves it.. but the rest of me, runs like the wind!!!

As far as I know, the nodes aren't generational..sure they stay there for a while, but so does Jupiter.I always look at nodes & place as much importance on them as I do Sun Moon Asc, house placements and their rulers, and aspects they receive, so important. My SN is Capricorn. I have Moon & Venus in Capricorn, I have good affinity with the sign. And I love having planets at the SN, cos they attract by opposition planets that conj my NN. So I feel lucky to have attracted so many people who have planets conj my NN, they bless my life. They say conj to the SN are the worst, but I love mine. That has to be old thinking, because the new thinking is to balance out both of the nodes, obviously not relying too heavily on the SN. IP: Logged | |
