I think Nessus in a prominent part of the natal makes for a person of PROFOUND depth.
If you have it ,in synastry,it can offer profound depth in a relationship.
Please, share your experiences.

Ami, would you like to explain what "profound depth" may be? someone with deep wisdom, or with complicated emotions, etc? you mean depending on which house Nessus features, the area of depth shows accordingly?i know a girl i think i mentioned once in your thread, who is what one may call a "Nympho", her 5th house Nessus squares her 7th house Pluto exactly. within 3-4 degrees it also has semi-sextiles, sextiles, trines and inconjunct to her Venus, Juno, NN, Saturn, Mars, Uranus, Moon and Neptune. so i'd say her Nessus is pretty prominent. she is a very intense person. my Nessus is in my 7th house, don't see anything so special about it. my partner's is in his 5th. we both have a history of psychological/physical abuse in our childhood. what is crazy is that we have a Nessus/DC DW. our Nessus conjunct each other's DC. naturally our Composite Nessus is cj. DC too, and in Draconic chart Nessus conjunct each other's Natal chart rulers. IQ once said it's very Nessus heavy and it is some sort of a warning. there is no single way to explain our relationship. it's just beyond a romantic relationship, it's terrible, divine, and just transcends everything, and it is like a life lesson through partnership. I am new to Astrology,as you know.
I am just trying to formulate some theories based on my own experience and others of you who respond  In synastry,I have---Get this--
DW Nessus /Deja--ALL less than a degree.
It is a very powerful relationship ,to me. In frienships,one friend has Nessus conjunct his Sun.
He has profound depth. Popcorn has Nessus conjunct her moon.
She does ,too. I think Nessus can be used to great good OR great harm.
That is my theory. This would apply to synastry,as well. ------------------

Ami...I have Nessus in retrograde at 28 Taurus conjunct my DNA in retrograde...at less than 8 hours...I have been wondering what it could mean, I asked about it a few days back, but go response...perhaps here I can find the answer of what it could mean?  IP: Logged |

If you see horrible ,atrocious acts in history such as mass killing,that is Nessus.
If you see serial killings,that is Nessus.
If you see someone" shock" someone to death,as in the Milgrim experiments, that is Nessus.
Get in touch with the worst part of yourself.
That is your Nessus.------------------

Pluto differs from Nessus,I think,in that Pluto is primal drives.
They are neither good or bad. They are amoral.
Nessus is evil,I think,evil within man.

When I talk about depth,I mean a person who faces who he is. That type of individual can allow another person to come to him and rest.
One's flaws are allowed and accepted.One can be real and safe.
A Nessus relationship such as this is powerful.

I know it can't be a horrible thing to all people...I mean, my DNA? I do realize that there is the potential to be either very bad, or very good...in everyone...I guess I chose early on to be good...I could never intenionally hurt another, I actually put others needs before myself...my bf is the same, although he was a bit more selfish when we met...he has changed alot since we met...we both get along very well with pretty much everyone...animals LOVE us too!
