I had a best friend for over 10 years and our relationship came to an end about a year and a half ago over the DUMBEST thing ever.Well we still talk sometimes although it's just... different. Just one fight that was too big, you know? Well I asked her for her natal chart data and what'd you know! She is a double cardinal Aries sun and moon and I'm a double cardinal Libra sun and moon. Both Leo ascendants, interestingly.. So... that in itself kind of accounts for why it did not work out? ------------------

Your suns and moons and sun/moon oppose each other, so a balance is possible. You both having a Leo asc makes things a bit easier, because your approach to the world is similar, giving you common points probably. But then again, the Leo asc ruler is the sun, and in your case, your suns are in opposite signs. I guess there is (was) a very attracting/repelling feeling; a back and forth kind of thing. Disagreements were probable.. but you were certainly complementary in many ways. Too bad you guys don't have the same relationship anymore. I know what it's like. IP: Logged |

Yes I do think we were complimentary in many ways. Every once in a while we'd have a disagreement and I would always be the one to give into apology just to keep the peace/friendship intact. She just could never admit to being wrong, could take no criticism/fault WHATSOEVER. We had a dumb fight where we (then) worked with each other. She got mad over it and refused to speak with me. I wanted to talk because she wasn't being fair (there's the libra) but she just wouldn't listen. And it was the last argument I wasn't going to save by ignoring her damn Arien ways. So I left it alone and cried for months. Then she texts me and says maybe we just needed time and lets be friends again. But I didn't want to be. It's just lukewarm now. Ehhh. Neat astrology though. I always wonder about opposites in astrology. I hate how it's either love/hate. Oh, my Aries friends... I have an insane attraction to my Aries coworker but at the same time... I loathe him! lol. I'll just stick to my Leo boyfriend. I don't think Aries is for me. IP: Logged |

Yes I think Libra and Aries are those two opposite signs that are just.. WAY too different.
I have a Libra venus and although I am often attracted to Arian traits, they also annoy the heck out of me. When negatively expressed, Aries energy is all about "ME ME ME" and "my way or the highway". Whereas Libra is all about sharing and being considerate.. they're like war and peace lol
Usually opposites in synastry create a fascination, an attraction, especially with masculine/feminine contacts ie Sun/Moon, Venus/Mars, Moon/Mars, Venus/Asc, etc. BUT conflicts and misunderstandings, as well as frustration are likely. There's always a balance to find.

Still,aries/libra are compatible. Ur combinations are so cool. Sounds rare too. Double aries,double libra... Leo asc...
