What do these two signs like about each other? What are the dynamics?

I know both are earth signs. I have a stellium in Cappy and he has a stellium in Taurus. His Sun in Taurus is exactly trine my Moon in Capricorn. I know all of the things I appreciate about him and why I care about him. But (maybe this is typical Cap insecurity) - I just don't understand *why* he loves me. Knowing my own personality and knowing his - I just can't understand why he doesn't go and fall in love with a woman who is less complicated and happier.

Taurus is a personal sign, ruled by Venus - so Taureans can really be sweet and see all of those things in life that make it beautiful and worth living.
Capricorn on the other hand is a transpersonal sign, ruled by Saturn. At times Capricorns (or Cap-influenced people) can see all of those things in life that make you feel like jumping of a bridge. These are very contradictory ways of seeing the world and I'm not sure how a compromise would be reached.

I wonder whether Capricorn can depress Taurus. I just don't want to hurt him, and I am really scared that my Cappy cynicism about life (and everything else for that matter) - will unavoidably hurt him - in time.. Maybe not today or tomorrow - he finds it funny atm - but months/years from now? I don't want to wake up on my 30th wedding anniversary next to a man who resents having wasted his life with me... and what if he would feel this way?

If anyone can tell me more about the dynamics of this relationship, it would be very appreciated

I'm curious as to what Taurus-influenced people like about Capricorn-influenced people... and if you happen to be a Taurus man who has dated a Capricorn Moon woman - please let me know -- WHYYYYYYYY you liked her???

LOL

I literally stare at him and wonder WHY in the world he likes me?

Maybe I'm weird.

I have lots of Taurus friends. I think the mutual gravity is mutually alluring. I guess because of the earth affinity there's just a tolerance level. Each sign is not offended by the off-putting aspects of the other. Taurus teaches Capricorn how to keep up with the times, and Capricorn teaches Taurus to value quality more.

Taurus has Aries in it's Solar 12th. They dream to be more Aries-like, more Cardinal and fierce. They may see that Cardinal-ness in Capricorn. Taurus women tend, unfortunately, to like macho men. Could be the same deal with Taurus men. They may respect strong people.

My Taurus/Capricorn married friends are celebrating their 17th year of marriage this month. They're a year younger than me.

I dated a Capricorn once (as a Taurus woman), and I would say if our moons weren't in such war with one another (Aquarius/Cancer) and it just stayed on that surface-sun level.. it would have been a very lazily wonderful relationship. It was just filled with awesome conversation and beach filled days. There is a brotherhood to the Capricorn/Taurus bond as their mindset travels along a similar path.

Is it possible to hurt a tough ol' Taurus man? They seem tough as concrete to me, Venus or no.

I just went out on a date with a Taurus Sun for first time last night. And the connection was amazing, his Venus is conjunct my Mars in Aries. I never thought a Leo and a Taurus Sun would be a good match but then again I like fixed squares. But my whole point to this is that I'm also still seeing a Capricorn Sun and Taurus seems much more grounded than Cappy.
