I recently was drawn to investigate asteroids a bit due to a friendly work relationship that took off unexpectedly and suddenly in a (positive and romantic) new direction 2 days after the Jan. 4th solar eclipse. I'm blown away by the connections I have found between our charts, including composite and progressed composite. For instance:

- His natal Juno is exactly conjunct my natal Sun/Moon midpoint and exactly trine my natal NN
- His Prog Psyche is exactly conjunct my natal DSC
- My Prog ASC is conjunct his natal Sun
- My natal Eros, Juno, and Vesta are exactly trine his natal NN
- His natal Eros, Mars, and Neptune are all conjunct my natal ASC (Libra) and trine my natal Moon
- His natal Angel exactly conjunct my natal Sun
- My natal Karma in exact opposition to his Prog Sun
- Composite Juno conjunct Composite NN
- Composite Ceres conjunct Composite Neptune and Mercury
- His Name asteroid exactly opposite my Name asteroid in our Prog Composite chart.

There are too many more to list. Our StarMates report listed the relationship as "high" (220) re: "destiny/fatedness!"

As I am new to the world of asteroid astrology, I am searching to understand a lot more about it. I am especially interested in learning more about Juno and Eros because of the particularly strong synastry contacts between me and this man. Any insights on strong contacts to NN and Ascendants?

Also, an interesting, newly discovered development is in regards to our psychic, telepathic, intuitive link to one another (we have mutually aspecting Neptune trine Moon, amongst other possible contributors to this situation). It's pretty amazing--LOTS communicated sans words (especially via dreams and feelings) when we are physically apart!

Thanks in advance for sharing any experiences and insights. I am learning so much from all of you at this site--so glad I discovered it!

Thanks for your response, Lioness!

Well, given the position of my natal Moon, unless I date someone WAY older or considerably younger, I'm stuck with a synastric Pluto/Moon opposition--guaranteed. Hence, I've learned over the years MUCH from dearest Pluto (as much as from Saturn). It's definitely helped me to mature emotionally, to release co-dependent emotional patterns and insecurities, to heal some childhood emotional wounds, though it of course hasn't always been pleasant!

The last relationship I was in involved considerable emotional manipulation and other gems--mirroring a childhood abusive relationship I endured--and yet I also found much inner growth taking place, to the point that I broke the bonds with that guy and my life has been MUCH more peaceful and balanced since. (Phew!!! LOL) This man I have the budding relationship with now is similar yet different energetically, sincere and authentic, whereas the last guy definitely was not. And that opinion/feeling/insight comes not just from me with any of my biases but also from others, which grants much comfort.

Hi Blonde! Thanks for chiming in.

Yes, the StarMates was via Cafe Astrology. It's the only report of that particular kind (couples-related, involving asteroids) that I could find.

And LOL re: the "cat" theme going on here with the respondents!!! :P
