If you had an overwhelming number of bad aspects and only a few (not so great) good aspects? Would still get to know them if you were attracted?

Yep
100%
IQ said that love and spirituality overcomes any aspect.
I would never let the chart stop me.
I find that I do not fit with someone IF the chart does not fit,though.
If I were to fit with someone and there was a bad chart,I would ignore the chart and go with my heart

Tread carefully and get to fully know the person before you get more involved.

I agree with what IQ says but it applies to both people not just one. Just because you are willing to compromise and work hard doesn't mean it will work if the other person doesn't put the same effort in.

At my age, I probably would not. In fact, i can almost guarantee that I wouldn't. I'm only 35, but I've had my heart broken too many times and wasted my time too much to do so again. I think I'm better able to determine who and what to avoid by what us revealed in an astrological chart. After reviewing the information I've uncovered in the charts of old loves, family, and friends, what has been revealed is too spot on to ignore this system when determining the ease of future relationships. I'm on a mission to find my soulmate,and although I know that people change and that transits affect things deeply, I want to at least start the relationship with genuine compatibility. But, keep in mind that I'm a Cancer and somewhat overly protective of myself. If I were an Aries, I'd say go for it because Aries bounce back easily. :-)

I ignored all the incompatibility with my ex and now after two years "he" can't stand me. Like they said, even if you are willing to compromise, try to understand the differences through astrology, the other party just might find you as a person with a crazy personality just because they don't understand. That's my case with my Aries ex. An Aries and Taurus doesn't go well, and worse if the Big Three's are not in soft aspects. I learned it the hard way. Yes, if you are looking for something short-term and you have a lot of Fire, go for it. You may bounce back fast, but if you have a sign that is known for not forgetting easily, don't. Be very careful. I say Venus-Mars aspect is not enough...There needs to harmony between the 3's.

Fire signs are underestimated at times. I see that right now, in this thread. Just because they "bounce back" quickly doesn't mean they don't hurt. Actually Fire signs are the ones that can actually die of a broken heart.

Really, littlecloud? I always feel like that is true of water signs. I have an Aries friend and she literally bounces from one relationship to another. I must say that I've never heard anyone say that fire signs are underestimated before. Overestimated? Sure, but never underestimated.

I've always thought that each fire sign corresponded to a water sign and that certain earth and air signs were the same, but with different energy expressions. For instance, the descriptions of the signs below are somewhat the same to me in a lot of ways. As a Cancer, I've always thought a lot of Leos were like me, especially when it comes to egos, moodiness, and tenacity. Cancers are much more tenacious than they seem (maybe it's a cardinal thing). The signs that I think are a lot alike (except for the way they express themselves are):

EXTROVERTED = INTROVERTED
Aries = Scorpio
Sagittarius = Pisces
Leo = Cancer
Gemini = Virgo
Aquarius = Capricorn
Libra = Taurus

I'm just speculating, though. A couple of Leos that I have known who are much older have often told me that they learned to express their compassion more as they've aged and to be less aggressive, much like Cancers naturally are. And Cancers that I know who are older have told me that as they aged they have learned to express their feelings in the moment and not bottle them up inside by going into their shell where no one can reach them. Has anyone else noticed this about the similarities between these sign pairings?

@bluegrey, my final answer is that I wouldn't go for it for the same reasons that TrueTaurus mentioned. Can you tell us about the troubling aspects in the composite chart?

Do you know about the old sign rulership of the signs? If you don't then you might like to know that you just posted it here.

Sun
Leo

Moon
Cancer

Mercury
Virgo Gemini

Venus
Taurus Libra

Mars
Scorpio Aries

Jupiter
Pisces Sagittarius

Saturn
Capricorn Aquarius

Look up what I said about Fire signs, I've read it in a couple of magazine articles and books but I don't have a link to post. As far as water signs, they are often stronger than people give them credit for. Just because they are "emotional" doesn't mean that they are weak. That is a misconception. I'm not saying you think this but it's a stereotype that sticks in our heads even if we think that we don't believe it. As for you friend bouncing around, she doesn't really love the guy she's with.

Ps- Lovers aren't the only ones that break our heart.

No worries, it's not that big of a deal. I didn't really know until I started getting more involved in Horary which uses the traditional rulers.

As far as the synastry, it doesn't look to bad at first glance. You guys have venus trine venus and jupiter. Very nice. Venus square mars is good for sexual attraction. Sun and mercury conjunct Jupiter is happy go lucky kinda feel. Moon conjunct Asc, sun moon in the 7th house. Those are pretty cool.

But honestly that composite is scary. However, I don't know much about composites so take that with a grain of salt.

Yeah... I think that's the worst composite I've ever seen. There are some pretty terrible squares there and so many. lol
