Has anyone ever encountered a nasty Libran? I have come across a few lately, and though I understand that other planetary influences could affect their temperament, I always thought Librans were simply unable to be rude or mean. I'm a Libra, and I think I would rather die than be nasty just for the sake of it!IP: Logged |

the Libra I know is the most self centered, narcissitic man ever. He can be awfully rude not in words but simple courtesies like saying sorry when he is wrong and everything centers around hm.

All Signs have perceived 'nasty sides' that can manifest. Librans are typically charming, sociable and graceful and seek fairness and harmony in everything so it's easy to think of them as eternally pleasant but that isn't really being human.Interestingly, Saturn is transiting Libran right now so I suspect this could be challenging them a great deal? Many will be their having Saturn Returns for the first or second time so personal problems could be pushing thme to the brink! I know a few Libran's well and can see this recently. I read somewhere not long ago that when you feel angered or peeved at another person, remember that they have a divine spark in them too, no matter what the offence and that focusing on this inner light, which they momentarily lost, is beneficial for all involved. I know one too !!just one, all others are perfect. but he is someone I can't even describe.. he is just a BAD person and I've probably known only 2 people in my whole life that I would describe as a bad person and I'm sure he has issues but I still doubt he has a heart we never dated or anything , we used to be close friends once. it was like watching star wars, this guy just chose to be on the dark side lol !!!

i guess it's the scales coming in to play. at one extreme i can be super sweet and nice, and complimentary, and always backing down from a fight and saying "fine! you win!" with a smile, etc.yet on the other side, i can truly be a ***** , i think its more of a switch than a scale, because it seems to come about almost instantly. i can say the meanest, nastiest things and have no respect for the person and be entirely selfish. i also have a nuance of belittling people down and then not apologising for quite a while. sometimes even never, this may be when my Scorpio venus comes in to play. but there's always a true reason why Libras switch to bad like that, whether it be insecurity or injustice, or that they're tired of being walked all over on. because we do try to be good sincere people, but if we feel unappreciated of the fact, then i guess it's us rebelling and shocking people to show we are not to be messed with. Least we forget Libra makes the first opposition in the zodiac.Venus is the Goddess of both WAR & Peace. Libras is both masculine & cardinal. It's not a passive, feminine sign as we'd like to think. I've had a flare up or two with combative Librans before. When I stop playing nice they have the gall to accuse me of rudeness or disturbing the peace. IP: Logged |

My bf and I are both Libras, and being nasty is not in our vocabulary...we would have to be totally messed with, pushed, to be mean or nasty...it would take alot...however, on the flip side...my mom and I were born on the same day, and my kids dad, was born on the first day of Libra...although they have and had good hearts, grumpy, two-faced, and just not nice to be around at times...I am sure other placements come into play, but there is good and bad in everything and everyone...it's yin/yang...balance... People do exhibit the negative characteristics of their OPPOSITE sign -- Aries in the case of Libra -- when they are going through difficulties and if they are immature (spiritually and emotionally under-developed) or just plain out of touch with themselves. IP: Logged |

I agree Deux...I think those who are more spiritually developed are just more mature and mellow all the way around, any sign...my son is an Aries...but he is very mature, and I think that may have to do with his 'awareness' from an early age...he and I are alot alike at times, especially now...since I am 'aware' as well... Hey rivercat and Deux,
I have been pretty badly hurt by this Libran so the bias against him.
He is so afraid of any strong emotions that he denies the relationship. Me trying to keep in touch with him stifles him and he thinks he will lose his independence in the relationship.what he does not understand is the relationship actually help him grow.I dont know how to get through to him and I am just tired now.IP: Logged |

I can think of two solar Libras off the top of my head that are just so obnoxiously passive aggressive to the 10th power, and really know how to put on a sweet face only to deceive you later. Otherwise, I know of people with plenty of Libra placements that are perfectly stand up folks to contrast the previous two. IP: Logged |

Libra once defended me and got me into a club for my friends birthday ages ago, after the bouncer wouldn't let me in because I was underdressed....he stood out there for twenty minutes argueing with the guy, but then when we got in there he got so drunk I couldn't understand what he was saying, and was probably the least charming person in the world....he did have good libra bonestructure though.IP: Logged |

I think it's rather sad when you see a person strongly influenced by Aries and Libra at the same time. My ex, is an Aries/Aries/Aries mercury, has a 7th house stellium and a Libra ascendant. He has his charming and sweet side, which he uses towards others, but I've seen the nasty side of him. Childish, selfish, not apologizing when appropriate, etc. These people also have a strong tendency to lie to please others. This guy also saw the relationship as restricting and couldn't see the fact that he could grow. They have a lot of growing up to do. I hope that one day they will have an epiphany and evolve. That's the best thing we can do for each other as human beings. The more aware we are the more we can live harmoniously. He knows my biggest pet peeve is lying and he couldn't avoid doing that for me...Aries/Libra combo. wasn't the best combo. for me being a Taurus/Scorpio.IP: Logged |

I find my sag asc. and pisces moon often override my Libra sun, so I tend to see the passive/aggressive tendencies disappear with those influences - I mean I seem more aware of Libra's deficiencies before acting, Pisces calms me down before Sag speaks out of turn!IP: Logged |

My step mom, soon to be my ex step mom, thank god, is a very narcissistic person. She has a great sense of humor and she can be nice, but everything revolves around her, and she is really fake. That is one of hardest things about Libra Suns, they can be so fake its sickening. Of course this is a generalization. In my case this Libra Sun had Cancer ASC. with Gemini Moon and Scorpio Venus. But she was not nurturing whatsoever, I feel sorry for my poor little sister, that is her mom after all. IP: Logged |

I can relate Snary, I have the same Moon/ASC. combo, only I have Leo Sun. It seems like when you've got a mutable Moon and ASC. everything is toned down and Pisces Mooners are very agreeable people. IP: Logged |

I'm a Libra and positively allergic to fake. If I send you a sappy little heart, it's because my heart is feeling sappy and loving towards you at that moment. For me, it actually means a lot more since my Cap moon and AC are rather restrictive of those hearts and emotions. On the other hand  I'm an 8th house person and my Libra Sun is conjunct Pluto and Merc so I am also intolerant of ******** and lies and I would rather slice off your arm then allow you to shove any of that b.s. down my throat. My Jupiter is conjunct my Neptune so I can be a little over the top with my generous nature but it is genuinely felt and that aspect has nothing to do with being a Libra. Libras without my placements might be different. I don't know many Librans. I do believe I can be flighty and air-headed and I have absolutely noticed that exact trait in every other Libran I can remember. IP: Logged |
