i have taurus sun/venus/merc quincunx libra pluto as part of a yod with neptune.. when i get rid of one because he's devastated me there's another one coming.. it seems never ending.. try to take it in stride and realize part of your life in the romantic department is about dealing with karmic relationships.. listen to your instincts not your heart?

Hi Taurus, yes, always listen to your instincts I think that one can't escape a karmic relationship, and that the way around it is not avoidance, but - as you said, taking in the stride. I don't know if that's due to pluto-venus though, I attributed it to most of my planets being retrograde... Venus pluto just thinks pain equals love, and then "materializes" that.

good point.. usually with one aspect there's usually others along the same lines too, adds to it.. for ex. im a cancer asc pisces mc with 12th gem moon oppose neptune, and the list goes on.. point in life is growth, we are given these energies, just some of us have a bigger task in them in this life..

Thanks Staborgi! THe person's Venus rules their 8th house, and the ruler of the 8th house is placed in the 8th house, so I guess its safe to say it would still be felt...for better or worse!

Thanks!

Hi All,
I have venus opp pluto and this aspect has been the bane of my life to some extent, causing alot of angst in relationships for me, I can be extremely insecure when it comes to other women in a relationship, maybe this is the control element and I am to the extreme when it comes to sex in that I have had very few sexual partners only my last three relationships, 2 long term, I could never have a one night stand ever..... Though I have noticed from my last relationship that I have grown somewhat and do rationise things from a broader perspective and not jump or become emotionally cold and withdrawn. Throughout the years I have noticed an undercurrent of jealousy from alot of women with me around their partners and in general. The reaction I can get from people is quite disturbing at first meetings without me having said anything though this I dont notice as much any more maybe because I dont care to much any more about other peoples opinions and it could be to do with Scorpio rising..... To answer the initial question I do feel as I am getting older Im 33 now that yes I am slowly getting a handle on it but more for ease of my own life it has to be done for myself. Its about rationalising and breaking down the over whelming emotions that come to the fore that can be hard to channel. I think forever I will always feel that aspect strongly but that it will continue to dilute as the years progress x
