Based on our charts, does it look like our relationship still has a chance to survive?

Every long-term relationship goes through rough spots. For fixed signs with little flexibility, my advice is always to focus on fully expressing yourself and your (non-romantic) loves...fully express your Sun and follow your North Node...and hope it will sort of heal the relationship through the backdoor. Keep your mind on the big picture...when you think about your Leo, secretly send him love and wish him happiness in your heart, even if he never knows you sent him those good vibes. Don't try to push the Leo to change, and if he tries to push you, just find a way to go get space and focus on something else. You need to do things at your own pace, taking your own initiative.

Write a list of things you LOVE and value, other than him. And then go do those things! Give the relationship time to adjust around that.

Jupiter moving into Aries started a new 12-year cycle in all of our lives, you will feel it particularly in your Venus/desire nature. When Uranus moves into Aries in March, it will start a new 84-year cycle!! Get ready! Start planning the things you want to take action on in your life over the next 84 years! For you, they should be some Aquarius things (your North Node, which is also ruled by that Uranus)...so see what's on that list of what's really important to you, and start in! (It will subtly inspire and change things with your Leo when he sees you really living our your own life purpose.) Be willing to give yourself freedom in your future, even just secretly in your own head and heart.

Thank you so much for all of your input!!! I take it you're a Leo yourself? I completely agree with you on the Venus in Scorpio being "sucktastic." It sure was. That was definitely a significant "testing time" in our relationship. Boy am I sick of that term "testing time..." I've looked at our transits to the composite and almost every single aspect is a negative Saturn or Pluto aspect, and always with the caption :"a significant 'testing' time for your relationship..." It looks like these transits will be wreaking havoc on our relationship for about a year! I don't mean to be pessimistic, but reading that is definitely more than a little bit discouraging!!

I think your advice was very interesting. I love him so much, and I have been feeling like I need more "space" than usual, but he just ALWAYS wants to be close!!! He gets offended if I don't want to be around him anytime he's not working!... Scorpio moon showing itself I suppose... Plus we have a Moon/Pluto conjunction as well as a Venus opp. Pluto and Venus sextile Pluto. But I will definitely work on that. When you say that I need to focus on my "Aquarian" side, what exactly do you mean by that? What sorts of things constitute "Aquarian" in your opinion? Also, am I not posting the chart correctly? My Venus is at 17 degrees Aries and his Sun is at 14 degrees Leo.

And yes, I too am a Leo with a watery (Cancer) Moon--I'm not surprised he's been clingy. Maybe you can include him in some of your North Node Aquarian pursuits.

Also, I've been doing a lot of writing lately... I went back to school this semester and am majoring in English as opposed to Theatre (which would be more my Leo South Node, I suppose?) Would my writing be something that has the potential to bring me closer to my Aquarian North Node?

The best Aqua North Node thing to start with, I think, would be some kind of social or political activism, where you're contributing your your talents, energy, and ideals to a group, and engaging with a way bigger version of humanity than your self or your relationship. If you get involved in a cause you both care about, it would be a way to get space from the Leo OR welcome him to come along and join you. You could start simple, one day a week of volunteer work.

That list of things you love and value in the world will help a lot. Astrologer Anne Ortelee has a saying: "If it's in your heart, it's in your chart."
