so! i have been seeing a guy for a few months and we are not exclusive or in a Relationship. we really like eachother but there are many challenges to us getting much time together. he is extremely busy and vaccilates between being extremely emotionally available and not at all. at times i feel frustrated and though i am monogomous by nature, because of the fact that we are not in a committed relationship i have kept my options open. well, last night two minutes after my solar return, the moment i began feeling blue that this other guy hadn't emailed me when he said he was going to, this fellow who lives where i've been hanging out for a few days and i began talking and there is something incredible about our energy together but our synastry is kinda crazy..

his moon is 12 leo, opposite my aqua sun/merc/mars (15, 11, 11), and he has venus and uranus in scorpio at 14/15 scorpio, so basically we have this garnd square formataion more or less between his moon, my sun and moon (20 taurus) and his venus/uranus. his moon fills out my 4th leg of my tsquare. there is something definitely drawing us together but so much empathy and this interesting, not uncomfortable but DIFFERENT FEELING energy between us and our first real talk was abouta lot of our early traumas. he studies chinese medicine we sort of did mutual/simultaneous readings on eachother (i did his chart), which was interesting. there were a few times it felt like we were both gonna start crying; there's an emotional rawness between us. maybe it is composite moon 1 degree cancer.

so yeah, hmm. i'm trying to figure out if this synastry is too much trouble or if the differences/square pattern is potentially awesome. he has tonnes of moon squares and i have a few myself so maybe it's not so bad.

curious if anyone's had this pattern and found it to be a good energy in an intimate relationship. i think we're both interested but i don't want to be stupid.

Wow your first relationship sounds like mine. I am with you on energy and vibes. I feel them intrinsically.

Although I can't speak to much on the details you provided, I can't wait to read what others have to share.

Cheers!

Dont let your synastry or composite chart make the choice. Go for your feeling. If I ask someone to look att someone I like I always got to see this relationships dark side and the impossible. It's easy to lose hope.

composite moon in cancer is good. You say you togheter feel much and that's good if you two are sensible persons.

If the relationship are meant to be it will be.

lot's of growth potential inharmonious doesn't necessarily mean bad.. just have to keep an open mind and allow for change if it's needed and warranted

woo! thanks guys.. yeah i know nothing is set in stone. mostly i'm looking for somebody with experience with (or who knows of) this sort of square pattern between charts. also my chiron is RIGHT on his DC (but his chiron is natally on it too, though three degs into his 7th, as he's only 4.5 months older than me). there is and was (from the getgo) an emphasis on HEALING and we both started talking about trauma, and helping eachother so that is interesting and chironny! but yeah we do have a lot of squares. and i agree the cancer moon sounds sweet as pie and felt that way too. homey and emotionally connective. hmmmmmmm..

danjor, i read some of your thread and the first guy i referred to is also a late cap moon! i'll try to catch up when i get more net time, but sounds like you're getting fab advice!

interesting about the chiron, i say go with your feelings too, just let astrology help guide you on how to get an understanding on what energies may manifest in challenging ways (and sometimes thats harmonious energies even).

i have my chiron conjunct my partners ASC! (in cancer)

how does the chiron/AC aspect play out for you?

yeah we have some good stuff, like his DC conjuncts my IC, my moon is in his 7th (and his is in my 8th), jupiter sextile sun, venus/mars sextile saturn (i prefer sextiles to trines in synastry; more dynamic), neptune sextile sun/merc/mars, BUT the chart is overwhelmingly squares and oppositions. i do find it incredibly interesting that our moons are both in these tsquare configurations with eachother and that we both HAVE all these moon squares natally. and i'm trying to tame the part of me that LOVES a challenge (squares) because this sounds potentially really painful, too.

Squares create character in people because what happens is square energy (in my opinion) means two planets are competeing for the spotlight, similar to a conjunction, but the planets are coming from angles that conflict, they contradict eachother in some way. so if some ones moon aspects your moon, your moon will bring its "squares" with it in the energy, and the contradictory energy and issues within those aspects will come out toward that other persons personal planet.

just my theory.

as for our ASC-Chiron conjunction, yeah there was a healing theme from the begining, i was the one that spoke of healing her, i am the chiron. she came from abuse and had no desire for love anymore, i wanted to heal her hurts and show her love isn't an enemy.

we have Chiron conjunct venus in cancer in the composite (which opposes uranus/saturn/neptune in capricorn, but trines Moon in pisces and mars in Scorpio).

wow that is really interesting. cuz we sat down and actually he began talking to me about trauma and how just that day he'd volunteered information about his traumas in class as no one else had felt comfortable doing so and he was actually the one who opened up to me about the abuse from his mother and his candor felt so unexpected yet what he spoke about was so in line with my own experiences and it felt quite natural to be talking through this stuff with a relative stranger and we just dove right in, with an emphasis on healing. he was really curious about his chart but my friend (who i know better and was basically there to see) walked in the room and we sort of ended our conversation right there and had only a brief moment or two thereafter to smalltalk, which seemed quite odd after the depth of that conversation!

sounds really lovely what you did for her! wow! i wonder if myself being the chiron in this equation (to his DC), i provided the feeling of him being able to open up even though he was the one to initiate that conversation without my prompting.

oh i just noticed we also have his IC on my sun by 2 degs. hmm! also, this is the first vertex connection i am familar with ever having had (his moon/my vertex, less than 3 degs. and his antivertex is our composite sun by 1 deg).

and yeah, i get you on the squares. i've had a whole life to reckon with them and actually enjoy the challenge of them. that is why i am somewhat weary of being with someone with whom i create MORE squares- the aspect of challenge and hard work required to derive that character! BUT he has a tonne of squares himself so i'm sure he can handle it. there is definitely an emotional strength that i can tell was earned about him. thanks, letram
