He can be so very selfish at times, and unable to take fault. He can get into a nasty temper somewhat easily and then bust off a lot of hurtful/egotistical comments, and just as easily return to a great disposition and be happy sunny Leo. It's just a roller coaster between his sun and moon I guess. I don't know.Aries is also on his 7th house cusp, so that's is kind of a bummer. I've just found that I don't do well with Aries qualities. My (former) best friend had an Aries sun and moon. A lot of other people that I just don't mesh well with have an Aries sun. Our synastry chart is pretty great and we do have some stellar aspects. But working with his Aries moon will be a challenge, I know. But I can do it though! (ahh.. libra sun and mooon..) IP: Logged |

I have a Capricorn Moon but I love Aries Moons. They're super honest, excitable and fun, and masculine. Even the women with Aries Moons they're masculine-ish and I love it about them. No BS.I love Aries placements in general, so maybe I'm biased. It's my MC sign (qualities admired). IP: Logged |

I don't equate Aries with nasty temper at all. Maybe look elsewhere in the chart, or look at the aspects of the Moon?None of the Aries I've known exhibited horrible tempers. And I've known a lot of Aries. Fixed signs, o yes (have you ever seen an Aquarian go off? the word detached flies out the window). Mars/Saturn, yes..Angular Pluto, yes ma'am, Mars/Mercury hard aspects, more than most, and others, but not Aries IMO. They're forthright, and maybe a lil blunt, but I think that's cute. I've never seen them like to fight just to fight, just to pick something. They're lambs. O and I have Mars/Saturn/Pluto in Libra which usually opposes their Aries placement (usually Sun Moon or Mars), and we get along just fine. IP: Logged |

I keep reading that Arians are honest, but I haven't seen that with my ex. I think it depends on the overall chart and if the person is evolved or strives to improve. My ex was a double Aries, and Aries was on his 7th house cusp as well. He was a bit of a mystery to me. I don't know the real him anymore. Arians are supposed to be adventurous and wanting to try new things. He wanted to sit back and play poker and drink with his friends or smoke weed. This is coming from a Taurus. Lol He had a really bad temper and would get irritated easily, and has no consideration to keep this under control when he's around me. I would then absorb this energy and become irritated myself. My Scorpio Moon and his Aries Moon did not work out. It's easier if you have harmony between the Sun & Moon &/or Asc. But we did not, he has a Libra rising and I a Cancer rising. IP: Logged |

If he has that much Aries, look to Mars, its dispositor. Aries isolated all by itself is honest. They don't really know how to be anything else, bless 'em.IP: Logged |

I know what u mean about the temper and inability to take fault of aries mooners. But i dunno it doesnt bother me at all. I'd rather they react to things strongly than calmly because o guess cuz i have a leo moon and i like drama and for thibgs to be "larger than life."I have a cancer sun, though. And i see their inability to take fault as them wanting to be independent. I'd rather they be independent and do their own thing then just give in to everything i say. Saggie mooners are good at doing everything u say lol---softies. I love them, too! So fun and optimistic IP: Logged |

Very funny thread! I love fire Moons, and I have a Libra moon. I've never dated Aries Moon though, just sag and leo.My bf's brother is a cap sun, with Virgo rising and an Aries Moon. He cracks me uppp, because he is so dramatic. Everything that happens is the end of the world, in his eyes. He has blown my phone up with dramatic VM's and texts (my phone was turned off cause it was dead) and in the morning when I listened and read them, I was in a panic calling him back, breathless... like, "whassa matter? are you ok, OMG, your message!!!!" And he said, "Oh, yeah, I'm fine, just wanted to talk was all." Jeez. I say bless their hearts, they can't help it too. Aries sun men do have bad tempers, at least the ones I know closely. I was married to one, he was violent. My uncle was one, he was also violent. And my BIL is one, he isn't violent, but he's super aggressive in a not nice way, and nobody likes having to work with him, because he does stuff like throw things and tear down displays when the little tiniest thing doesn't go his way. I think this is why he never has a girlfriend. That and the porn addiction problem. IP: Logged |

That's me. All the Aries placements I've known (no ASC that I'm aware of) Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, they're tame. OR Maybe I mean that they're tame in comparison to me OR Maybe it's that I calm them down so around me they can talk and chill out. It's one of the 3! IP: Logged |

It's nice to see people defending Aries Moons for once... quote: My bf's brother is a cap sun, with Virgo rising and an Aries Moon. He cracks me uppp, because he is so dramatic. Everything that happens is the end of the world, in his eyes.
I'm SOOO like that. lol. I always thought it was because of my Leo Mars though. quote: I don't equate Aries with nasty temper at all.
Agreed. Well, at least from the Aries Moon standpoint. Many people think that we have 'tempers' because we don't mind openly displaying irritation or annoyance with a situation or a person. We (well, I) usually try not to make it a personal attack on a private part of their life, because that means I'm trying to intentionally HARM THEM. Usually when I am mad, I am mad at the situation more than I am at the person, and therefore I do not want to harm the person I am mad at. To me, this is not the same thing as having a temper. Having a temper means bottling it all up and then letting it explode on one person and making it extremely personal and using personal attacks to intentionally harm a person. If you think an Aries Moon is being selfish, please ask yourself what you did to contribute, because chances are, either they didn't KNOW what you wanted because you didn't tell them (and this can come off as selfishness because we're usually off in our own little worlds), OR you injured them somehow and now they're mad so they don't care if they are being selfish. Also, we don't really carry grudges, so if the fight wasn't that 'important' to us, we will forget about it in a few days, even after the other person is still nursing their injuries. This can also be misconstrued as selfishness. It's not really. We just literally don't care anymore once it's been resolved. "It's resolved. Why bring up the past?" Now, we are unable to take fault sometimes, and we do like to one up others. That, I'll cop to. quote: Fixed signs, o yes (have you ever seen an Aquarian go off? the word detached flies out the window).
YES. Fixed signs are scary when they are mad. ESPECIALLY Aquariuses. They make me, with my 5 planets in fire signs, want to go duck and cover. Overall, though, I like fixed signs though. I just try not to make them angry. IP: Logged |

"Many people think that we have 'tempers' because we don't mind openly displaying irritation or annoyance with a situation or a person."See, to me this is honesty, something to be commended. Not a temper. "either they didn't KNOW what you wanted because you didn't tell them" This is important, you have to be straightforward with them. IP: Logged |

I do agree with the honesty part of being Aries. He is very honest and I do appreciate that, although sometimes he is too honest and I have to try and not get my little girly feelings hurt But he definitely flies off the handle as easily as he can get back on. So I'm curious, what else in his chart could indicate this? IP: Logged |

It's the mars square pluto. Every man I've ever fought with has that aspect. They all have anger issues. IP: Logged |

i'm An aries moon, interesting about the temper opinions, i wouldve thought it was my aries moon for my nasty side.but i am a leo sun with leo asc, with pluto square asc and uranus trine sun. but.. i have moon trine asc, and my aries moon is usually on a leash with saturn square it, and often i need peace because i have venus in libra and neptune square moon. i agree, look at the aspects for anger management issues. lonake, what you said about liking aries moons made my day a little, since my partner is a capricorn moon and i always was astrologically concerned that it wont make her happy, but, i think my saturn square makes my moon cappy like, ( read the compability description for aries moon with cappy moon, and i could relate to what the cappy moon feels about the aries placement, i feel this way about aries in all placements (mars/sun alike). she doesnt have an aries MC, but she does have an aries venus so i know she loves it most timES i lose patience/self control/biting bullet infrequently. oh wow, me and that guy have alot of similar placements (moon aries, sun leo, venus libra, mercury virgo). heres my theory- yes its mars square pluto, for anger issues but the reason he hurts you is because his mars squares moon. this meens his masculine side conflicts and hurts femininity in him, and is likely experienced by the women close to him in his life. because his martian hostility is felt and experienced by his moon. i interestingly enough have mars quincunx moon. my partners ex was physicallly abusive to her and he had that aspect (mars square moon). aswell as square uranus. her ex was actuallyh born around the same year as taht guy, and also has Sun square uranus, jsut like that guy, and north node in leo! (he was an aqua sun with gemini moon) with mars in pisces) what you can expect: Moon in aries - bluntness, open honesty, and their patience can be tested easily. prepare to be encourage to go into a higher gear when around him, especially if he wants you to do something. this placement alone doesnt indicate violence and hostility. Mars square pluto - intesity, and control are the key issue here. if he doesnt get his way (control) that is likely what will cause his hostility and violent anger to start seeping out. although unfortunately, this may be emphasised or more of an issue because his moon in aries wants its own way anyway, and patience isnt high in that placement, watns are emergencies, see the issue? when he wants his way its going to potentially be a problem if he doesnt get it. especially since his moon depositor (mars) is actually the mars square pluto. with moon square mars, i dont know anything much about how that aspect works.

No kidding, the guy has Libra asc + Pluto at Asc + Sun sq Uranus + Mars Pluto Moon tsquare. You better be making lots of supportive aspects to his chart to handle that. He just has a lot of stress, so just stay out of his way. I have Sun sq Uranus + a good number of squares in Cardinal signs, involving all the Cardinals actually, and when I'm on my lil mission, all powered up, people need to step back. The Libra asc with Pluto is not a nice placement, they like to rile others up. Mars Pluto Moon is a ton of emotional sensitivity and feeling put upon, dont take away what's his, but don't let him cast you in the Pluto role either, he may project Pluto traits onto others with that opposition to his Moon, the sq to Mars from Moon is decided oversensitivity and overreacting. The guy needs a lot of care and concern from someone who understands, if you can't give it to him then leave him be to find someone who can. . . . Letram, the Moon Venus same sign is a dream Don't even worry about it And absolutely to your Moon/Saturn and her Cap Moon re:affinity. IP: Logged |
