For myself and those born the same year, (around 1979) I'm sure you're feeling the transiting Saturn conjunct Pluto, and the transiting Pluto Trine Saturn aspects right now. It's almost like a Saturn-Pluto double whammy transit hitting at the same time.

Can you guys share your experiences with this so far?

For me, when Saturn started conjuncting my natal pluto in my 2nd house, my house got robbed and a lot of my valuables got stolen. My best friend who is the same age as me, lost her sister when Saturn conjuncted her Pluto in her 4th house.

Does anyone have any experiences or wisdom to share regarding what to expect with these transits, and what they feel like, and how to tell the difference in the feeling between the two. Are they always associated with loss?

FYI - my Natal Saturn is in my 1st house, and my natal Pluto is in my 2nd house but almost on the cusp of the 3rd. Transit saturn is at the end of my 2nd, and transiting Pluto is n my 5th.

Thanks so much!

Gem

Interesting, thanks for sharing.
Pluto does rule resources, and Saturn limits, so the scenarios you posted do make sense.

My Pluto is @ 26 Libra in the 4th, Saturn won't be there for a while, but I will update on the condition once it's completely past.

I was born with natal Saturn conjunct Pluto, (Pluto on the IC, Saturn conj IC from the 3rd) and my mother did die while I was young, after that my father was laid off from work and became suicidal. (I also lost my closest family members while I was young.)
He's back trying to get treatment for his mental illness since it's been acting up again (he's going through natal mars/saturn opp t.pluto, sq. t.saturn--with natal mars saturn in the 12th).

Saturn rules the father (authority figures), so it's just wait and see.
But knowing my past, I wouldn't be surprised if there's more death/loss.
Pluto in the 4th, so I'm used to it.
Losing him won't be that huge of a loss..actually it would bring some relief.

Lonake,

I'm so sorry to hear about the early loss of your mother. The Pluto-Saturn conjunction in your chart must be very difficult. My IC is in Scorpio, so my 4th house ruler is Pluto which has never made home life easy, and my IC is conjunct Uranus also, which makes sure I never get too comfortable or feel too "at home".

I can "feel" something at home is going to change lately, and it started with the robbery, and now feeling like home is not safe anymore. I've been feeling so suffocated lately. I've also been suffering from really bad OCD. I've always had this compulsive behavior but now its starting to get so bad the people around me find me impossible to live with. I go off all the time.

I may have to start getting treatment or start taking something.

Thanks so much for sharing your experiences.

OK, Pluto h4 ruler, in the 2nd, Saturn transit, the robbery....
So you seek security in material possessions, self-worth, which is fine not a bad thing exactly, except Pluto will take away if you're leaning too hard on something that is ultimately not working for your best benefit.
Saturn in the 2nd over Pluto drains resources, does a number on self esteem as a result of robbery and maybe some other things, does it rule the 6th? 6th is daily habits, Saturn over Pluto could get obsessive. You're somewhat traumatized by the invasion and are now looking for ways to regain control, which you need for that sense of safety.
But Pluto in the 2nd is gonna be a great drive to accumulate personal resources and then it's gonna take em away, same with self worth, to show that this is not a place in your life that you can be lighthearted about, and you have to stand your ground on what is yours every step of the way. So I would beef up security, check your bank statements make sure there's no fraud, get that free credit report from one of the bureaus (equifax, transunion, experian) once every 4 months, make sure at work no one is trying to get in the way of you being paid what you're worth, I mean if you are gonna get obsessed about something at least be obsessed with protecting yourself so that nothing like this happens again. If Saturn does rule your 6th house of health and habits then it wouldn't be a bad idea to talk with a professional, just in case your condition starts to interfere with your life. Saturn rules fear too, but if you take measured steps in protection and being vigilant at least some of the fear will go away.

Lonake, I never realized this until you put it into words but I guess I always took security and the safety of "home" for granted. I never thought my home could be invaded, and my belongings could be taken...until they were taken one day, and my home did not seem as secure or safe. After I got robbed, when driving past people's homes I would think how foolish they were to think they were "safe" in their homes. Home now seemed like the least safe place. I used to keep my doors unlocked, and now I have an alarm system and am psycho about locking my doors.

Thank you for your advise on taking extra precautions to keep my possessions safe. I'm also going to up my insurance policies. And yes Saturn is ruler of my 6th house. My OCD is getting out of control, and I need to get help. I'm not looking forward to Pluto or Saturn "taking away" but I guess I really have no choice in the matter, and the best I can do is to not hold onto anything to fiercely.

Thanks again Lonake!

when tr sat con natal pluto I also has tr sat square natal saturn, tr pluto was also opp natal sat and squaring natal pluto

Life had me screwed down so tight I could hardly breathe, I'm still waiting for finances to pick back up again (tr pl in 2nd natal 10th) I changed my work slightly, same areas but went from reading to writing

during the transits I also ended a long term relationship (natal sat in 8th tr was in 10th)

I had 2 bereavements in the space of a month when sat was directly on pluto, both women were significant to me but not related.

The positives were I had tons of self discipline...lost a stone and a half.

It was a heavy time but I've freed myself up so much in many ways...and the dust always takes time to settle.

I also had uranus opp natal venus (which is just about to finish) and nep opp natal sun, the friends that died and relationship ending could be connected to these transits too.

Amazing thank you for sharing that!

I feel the increased discipline comming on....the transformative nature occuring, especialy since pluto is conjunct my sun right now....transiting there

and as it leaves, saturn will come and transit pluto nataly...

amazing...

i can say that pluto conjunct sun is like an amazing will power - i've quit smoking cigarettes and i've been training like as for a marathon...insane....that would never happen...

the thing is i'm doing it smart and gently letting it turn into a habbit..

in the past i have been extreme with my exercising, now it's gentle, and long lasting, the saturnine kind...

You're welcome,
I really can't relate cos I grew up in a violent city so locking doors etc is the norm for me, but maybe it just served as an unfortunate reminder of the society you live in.
I could be called 'close' to paranoid regarding my personal security but I've never been assaulted etc, I guess I do look at people 1st to screen em for any possible ill intentions.
Pluto 4th sq moon.
