Two large cosmic events take place this week. Both happen on the same day ~ Tuesday. About 26 minutes apart. Expect things to be rocking and rolling on planet earth, in your world and in your Pisces house.
Chiron enters Pisces. His ingress takes place on February 8th at 2:56 pm EST. Chiron entered Pisces for the first time on April 19, 2010 and the BP oil rig exploded in the Gulf of Mexico. Chiron is about wounds that are hard to heal. Pisces is about the ocean. Wounded ocean sure describes the BP mess. Chiron left Pisces for a return dance through Aquarius on July 19, 2010 when they finally figured out how to shut BP oil rig down. Now Chiron returns to Pisces until April of 2018. We have 7 years of Chiron roaming through the most sensitive sign of the zodiac, Pisces, and through the oceans before us. Events in your life from last April and July will reappear in all their glorious wounded shape this week. Remember, Chiron represents a wound we can’t heal, even though we try very, very hard to fix it. Our best efforts can mitigate it but not fix it. The wound is created from a permanent, deadly poison, blood from Medusa’s severed head. Watch where the wound appears in your chart ~ the first degree of Pisces.
Chiron’s final entry into Pisces also marks the 4th of the six big, outer planets changing signs. Next Month Uranus changes into Aries and in April Neptune changes into Pisces finishing all the changes we can expect. Then we’ll all get to work on our new version of reality. Just a few more months of changes and everything will be in their proper new places!
The shift of Chiron into Pisces this week will wake up all the babies born between April 1960 and April 1968 who have Chiron in Pisces in their natal charts. The 1960 to 1968 babies often have major orphan and abandonment issues, symbolized by Pisces, the sign of the orphan. They are very talented artistically and interested in working to serve, heal and change the collective. As a group, they are starting to take over the world. They will help all of the rest of us move forward in a more humanitarian and compassionate manner. However, THIS week, the 60 to 68 babies are feeling a swift kick to their Chiron. And it HURTS! All of us are feeling a wounding to our Pisces planets and our Pisces house.
Whenever a planet enters a new sign, he stirs up the issues of ALL the planets found in the sign. Imagine the door bursting open and every Pisces planet turning, shrieking at being STARTLED, to see what has come charging through the door. The Pisces part of your chart is where you startle easy. And where you want to run for cover when scared.
Admetos stations to go direct on Tuesday at 3:22 pm EST. Admetos stationed to go retrograde on August 26, 2010 and entered his shadow on April 23, 2010. So back we go to April and the end of August for Admetos’ story to resume. Admetos was one of the Argonauts who helped Jason on his journey to reclaim the Golden Fleece. He was the King who Apollo worked for as a shepherd when he was being punished for killing the Cyclops. In astrology we find Admetos involved in raw materials, standstills, rotation, time, clots, clumps, endings, death, separation, conservatism, heaviness, permanence and hard substances. We know that permanence is an illusion. All objects or situations are in a state of perpetual change, whether it be the change of their molecular composition or the more gradual changes seen over long periods of time.
So when Admetos stops we can expect things that we think of as permanent to change and remind us that they are not. Nothing is permanent. Everything changes.
Admetos often is involved with the more difficult or final changes in our lives as he says the things we THINK of as being permanent are actually NOT solid, reliable or stable after all.
So with both Chiron and Admetos shifting within 26 minutes of each other on Tuesday, we can expect some fairly significant changes in our life or the lives of the folks we know. Things that we think are permanent will change. We will find we are wounded by that knowledge or realization. No worries. It is all part of your life’s journey. Everything is as it is supposed to be ~ just breath and move through it.
The entire planet will be waking up over the next few years. The thing to remember is you incarnated NOW, you are here on earth NOW, to help the rest of us get through the coming changes. We each have jobs to do! (And it does my Virgo heart good to say that!) Know that the past two years have been all about getting you into your new position(s) or relationship(s) for the impact that you are supposed to have on the world over the next few years. Get ready! It is going to be fun! I promise. Stressful, sure, but doesn’t that make it fun too?
So, the beginning of the week finds us working with these two difficult energies and thus it will be difficult for most of us. Stopped planets are stressful. Planets at the last degree of signs are shouting out their essences before leaving them. We are all carried back to March 2005 when Chiron entered Aquarius for a closing, heel kicking show stopping number!
The back half of the week is quite productive and moves rapidly as we start to practically integrate the changes that take place at the beginning of the week.
The weekend has a light hearted Gemini Moon which makes it a MUCH better time to celebrate Valentine’s day than Monday, the actual day, will be. Valentine’s day has crabby aspects and the Moon will be in sensitive emotional Cancer, processing all the events from this week. So make a plan to celebrate with loved ones over the weekend!
Monday, the Moon’s day, finds Moon in Aries and kicking proverbial butt. Moon in Aries has a me first quality to it ~ stepping right up and saying “HI ~ pick ME!” Moon has nice closing aspect of a sextile to Neptune suggesting the events of today and tomorrow further the dream even if they might be difficult. Admetos is dead stopped in the sky, pivoting to move forward tomorrow. He’s in fixed earth so structures that you thought were inpenetrable reveal sudden weaknesses, failure place or fault lines. Often we have earth quakes when Admetos stations as he is about helping us understand that NOTHING is permanent ~ not even the earth beneath our feet. We speak to authorities and tell them they or we have to adjust. The government or authorities are NOT in control as independence and mastery want to assert themselves today. Emotionally we need to express our dissatisfaction or irritation. Be careful how you say things as people are very sensitive today. Conditions are deteriorating, becoming coarse, rude or evil which makes us want to nurture them and ourselves back towards healing. Mars in Aquarius has a stressful desire to shift the relationship BACK to what it USED to be. You can’t do that. The new reality is here. Things have shifted permanently. You have to learn how to live within the new framework and its evolving vision. Open up the triangles to include all who want or need to be in the circle ~ it will make it easier down the road.
Tuesday, Mars’ day, February 8 is one of the hardest days of the year. Uranus opposite Juno blows up partnerships, relationships, or situations where conservative rules have governed. It’s been NOT working for you lately. Time for change. Two major events, Chiron entering Pisces and Admetos stationing make today a rocking and rolling day on planet earth. Nurturing and creating is cooperating with creativity, procreation, and passion to produce desired planned results and achievements. Life pushes through. The principle of desire, passion and love fights with the authorities and existing powers. Once the dust settles, after today is a great day to take on creative projects as blocks will collapse in a pile of dust ~ you’ll wonder what was ever holding you back? High emotions today as we find family and friends supportive of our challenges and changes.
Wednesday, Mercury’s day, February 9, find Moon in Taurus seeking to ground all the activity of the past few days. Venus settles into Vesta offering you a nurturing place to work and nest. Make your home or office support your soul in practical way. There can be sorrow or illusion about the partnership or relationships that ended over the past week. You have to adjust to the changes in the energy. You will be okay. Venus joins with Pluto offering your heart emotional depth and an ability to process the changes at your soul’s level. These are very deep changes going on right now. Pay attention to the sensitive part of your being as it needs to feel nurtured and loved by you. At times, the world feels cold and lonely. Today you need to hug and hold your inner child ~ they want ice cream. It also is a day when people with additive issues can find themselves gazing longingly at the substance that shifts their energy fields ~ drugs, alcohol, food, shopping, gambling, sexing, ~ whatever. So don’t pick up. Hug yourself. Hug your loved ones. We all feel a bit lonely and teary today. Take action to create a community that you find supportive.
Thursday, Jupiter’s day, February 10, find the Moon in solid, reliable, dependable Taurus. Stubborn emotional energy today can find you arguing about silly things. Is it worth it? Not really. Life is amazingly short. Lots of emotions flow today, a seemingly endless burst or eruption. We have to let them out. They have been building for awhile now. Lots of stress energy that wants us to just keep moving and checking things off our to-do list. Take extra vitamin C or airborne to fend off the incipient cold. You don’t have time to be sick right now. Emotions that are very old can also rise up, unbidden, from deep places in your being. Let them out. Release, release, release. Clear, clear, clear. No arguments over silly things ~ find the place where you can agree.
Friday, Venus’ day has Moon in Taurus till mid-day 2:27 pm EST, then void for a few hours until 5:20 pm EST when she enters Gemini. Take time this afternoon during the void to plan, dream, recreate and rest. A nap is in order! Mercury delivers hard news about endings. It is final. Mercury is joined to Pluto by declination offering us a way to process the endings we’ve witnessed this week. On some level, we know it is the right thing. On another level, we are so sad. We will miss it SO much. But we also know we have to move on. I keep getting graduation energy ~ we’ve graduated to the next level ~ we are leaving behind our old life. We are moving toward our new life. But the new life isn’t quite in place yet so it is more about what we are leaving behind. We are releasing, releasing and letting go of the old life. Wow. So much letting go. It seems to never end. You may find yourself suddenly irritated today, out of the blue, ~ that is the new energy coming it ~ through the irritation at the old situation or relationship that isn‘t changed yet. Look at the irritation as something that will be shifting into a new focus of direction soon. Don’t be mean. Direct that Mars anger towards something productive. Stop harping on the same old, same old. Aren’t you tired of complaining about it?
Saturn’s Day February 12 Celebrate Valentine’s Day today! Monday is icky. Moon in Gemini is very, very productive. Chatty, connected and communicative, today is wonderful to catch up on correspondence and with friends. Dreams are particularly inspiring so write them down when you arise. The dream has glory, success, expansion and knowledge to share with your creativity, passion to produce and desired accomplishments. Today is a wonderful day to push for things to move forward. They might have unexpected results but they will be fun while you are doing them! Dip into the emotional passions that inspire you. Look at the patterns of what irritates you and understand that means you’ve outgrown it. Yes, it is irritating like a pair of pants that don’t fit so good any more. Often the people or situations we were SO attracted to initially become irritating with the passage of time. Have they changed? Have we changed? Probably both of you have changed. The good relationships will last and get through times like this The ones that we need to move away from, we will move away from starting now. Gently, gradually, we understand we’ve internalized whatever was shiny and bright ~ the parts that fascinated us originally are now inside of us. That is what happens. We learn it. We master it. We move on. It is time to move on. That pattern recognition that drives you crazy is the signal from the universe that it is time to change.
Sun’s Day, February 13 Celebrate Valentine’s Day today! The actual day, tomorrow, is kind of cranky, crabby and irritable so take advantage of the good aspects today to celebrate with the one(s) you love. Moon in Gemini makes it a great day to chat and connect with various loved ones, including siblings. It is an Aquarian holiday so when they used to make you give valentines to the whole class they were on to something. It is about the love that you feel for humanity as well as for a specific beloved so take time to donate money, love or effort today to a charity you love that does good work. Moon has pleasant aspects all day offering a easy flowing productive feel to the day’s events. Make sure to let the people who nurture you know you love them too! Mercury joins with Ceres offering a creative communicating component to connections.
