But, I have a strong connection with my pet. Extremely strong. When my dad and I were having huge blow outs over something that happened in the past, I was on the verge of breaking down. My mom divorced my dad and my mom and I moved away. I lost my other pet to my dad and I was really sad. I was going through the worst time of my life. I just started up college and I was really sick because of everything from my family. And I became very anti-social and withdrawn.

My mom could tell I was at a low point in my life and I wasn't making much attempt to get out of it.
But one day I was at this puppy store (I hate puppy stores now btw) and I saw this really cute papillon puppy. He had big ears and these really sweet eyes. And he was so intrigued by me when he saw me. When I walked away, he followed me along the caging and watched me walk out the door and still watched me through the window. My ex even commented on it. So I started researching on Papillons and their breed and came up to the decision I wanted to purchase one that was a Leo. (Because I always connect super well with people under that sign.) I didn't have the money and they're quite expensive. But a few weeks after seeing the papillon in the dog store, I hit an ever lower point. My mom all the sudden came up to me and asked me if I wanted a pet. I was so excited. I knew that the papillon from the dog store would be gone. But I still felt so connected to him. I had dreams about him being my pet during those few weeks. So I went up to the mall one day and walked by the puppy store and looked in. I saw my dream papillon from a few weeks ago. But he was really really weak looking and just bundled in a corner of the cage. He wasn't even responding when other dogs nipped at him. And the owners of the store left him covered in dog feces. It was horrible!! And thats an understatement. I told my mom I found my pet, when she got there she noticed he didn't look normal/healthy. He was under a pound and you could feel all his bones. He would just lay and not move. This was not the dog I had seen just a month earlier. They offered me a "good price" on him. I told them he was malnourished and pretty much on his death bed. I want him for xxx amount. Because I told them I know I am going to have to spend a $1000 on this dog (which I did, out of my pocket) for his health b/c of the lack of care they gave him. They agreed on the price and my mom made the purchase for me. The owner told me if I ever decided to breed him and I wanted to make a deal on the puppies..I cut him off. I even cussed. I don't cuss, ever. I told him there was no f*cking way I would ever let him come near my any of my pets. And that he had a lot of f*cking nerve to even ask that. I also told him he had 2 seconds to get out of my face too. I usually don't hit that point with anger especially with strangers!!! But honestly I did that time.

So Winston nearly passed away. Doctors said they didn't think he was going to make it. I nearly broke down. I cried telling Winston if he left, I had nothing. I don't have any family. And he was the closest thing to it. Doctors are still shocked to this day because he pushed through with fluid in his lungs and everything. And now he is in perfect health (still small tho, 3pds!) I became so attached to him though, and I know I look crazy but I can't help thinking that he was always connected with me in a way. Each night before bed I blanket him in and each night before bed he blankets in his own toys with my washrags from the bathroom. He does things that are so caring and human. I can't help but treat him like a little person. He tries to share his food with his toys. LOL And if you're crying or sad, he'll try every trick in the book to make you happy. Everyone who has met him has said he is the most human like animal they've ever met and when they see him it's hard not to smile because he is just so bright and "sunny"
Oh they've also said he looks like a kitten too LOL! And he has a mane/has catlike mannerism. A few months ago I was going through my file cabinet looking for my birth stuff, and found his birth records instead. Turns out his D.O.B. is August 15th. I got so wrapped up in just loving him. The sign I originally wanted, didn't matter. But it still ended up that way in the end.

I guess the point of this was to ask you is there certain aspects you could look for in a chart to see if you have past life connections with a pet? I know it's such a weird post. I just feel like this dog has been my a best friend mine for a really long time.

It's not weird at all, pretty normal for people to feel that way for their pets, I know I have (not counting the current dog whose Venus & Mars conjs my NN.. I guess she's pulling me to my NN and I feel uncomfortable with her sometimes..). I guess look for aspects like any other synastry you would do, Sun-Sun aspects, Sun/Moon, angle aspects, SN/NN etc.

We have a lot more too. There are so many conjunctions. It's insane. My photobucket is acting a little weird but I'll upload the chart when it fixes itself. I am going off the fact here that I think he probably has a virgo rising (I am laughing out loud as I types this because it just sounds so funny talking about my dog on an astrology forum)

The only reason why I assume it's Virgo. Is because is so so so frail and tiny. Most Papillon Males should be 12 pounds, he just got to 3. He is pretty much like a polly pocket pet. He is quiet for the most part until it comes to something he wants then he is pushy and will make really weird distraught sounds. When it's not about him, he'll limp around the living room like he broke his leg. It's pretty dramatic. He also has a really weird obsession with collecting bottle caps (started at a young age) and sorting them into a nice little piles. When friends came over to my place and moved the caps out of the pile..he'd get really upset. So he now hides the piles to avoid people messing it up. He also has a thing about peoples hair. I know it sounds so creepy, but everyone has noticed this. That he'll take one paw and flip your hair and fix it. It cracks everyone up. But my mom and I both feel that he has a problem with things not being aligned right/perfectly.

One thing Winston is notorious for though and everyone says this.. His "glam". The beauty, the way he walks and the look he gives everyone. He isn't hyper. He is really quiet about it and calm. But he is just so full of himself! Someone said he looked like a more glamorous version of Prince but in mini-dog form. I was reassured you couldn't be more glam then Prince. That's impossible. But then I started realising, everyone is right.

If his rising is Virgo like I think it is. That makes his mercury and Venus conjunct his ascendant. He therefore would have Venus, Mecury, Saturn, and Mars!! Just in the first house. Which explains the really pushy behavior. It would also make sense with the venus because people have said though he is very bossy/OCD.. his beauty makes everything ok. ha
Reason I wanted to see if I could maybe work out the asc was b/c of the vertex in regards to friendship.

Feel free to share stories Venus! I like hearing about how people have a spiritual connection with their pets because I personally believe animals can play an important role (just like people can) in lives too.
