Actually, if I am not mistaken Ami, the Bible does refer to 'abilities' and 'gifts' in the end times....the Bible refers to many things, such as Astrology, UFO's, and OBE's...It's in there....

The Bible actually jump-started my 'spiritual journey' many years ago... the Bible is not 100% correct, but it is not 100% incorrect either...of course, which goes hand in hand with Christianity...or anything else for that matter..

One of our best friends out here is an ordained Christian Minister, with his own radio show even...He reads the Bible on a daily basis....
He knows alot of this to be true, and has his own experiences...although he is not so sure about Astrology...yet...but he has 'gifts', such as OBE's, lucid dreams, and visions..

This stuff used to freak me out when I was walking my 'born-again' path though, and the word 'occult', I still have a tough time with...I associated it with evil..lol That's what they want us to think, because so much truth lies in the occult...it's all based on what you are using it for I feel...anything can be 'bad' or 'evil' if used in that sense....

It's taken me 50 years to figure that out...sorry for jumping in, i just don't like to see anyone 'frightened' by something that is so useful in such a positive way...
