Ok Ignore the subject like. I don't know why I even posted that as the subject. But, do you ever feel that you're really attracted to your moon sign? Only to find out they're not what you really wanted in the end? But somehow you kind of knew all along in a way. You say you want qualities of your moon in a person..But when you get there. It's not the same. Lets take me for example. lol I am sure everyone knows by my constant thread replies. I love me some Gemini. Definitely in the big threes. More so though, in the Sun or Asc Something about those lean athletic bodies, young looks, and dual personalities. mmmmm... They get my blood pumping. Something about them says, "Hey baby. You want Clark Kent during the day, but Superman in bed?..Well here I am, in all my glory and spandex. Ready to rock your world." But being with them as in a relationship is absolutely horrible. Because you realise..the moods aren't what you want. And then eventually you find yourself not so sure. Maybe it's different with girls. I don't know. But my mom was married to a Libra, and she had Libra moon and expressed the same thing.
Then I started thinking about it. In the Tarot, the moon can represents dreams, emotions, intensity, and mysticism. But it's flaws are delusion, confusion, and lack of clarity. This all started when I was reading this book I found called "Jung and the Tarot" and he was talking about that the moon card sometimes draws people in, only for a realization that in the end.. all good things must come to a pass. (He gave a huge story with it) I feel like that with my moon sign. My mom felt that with hers. My friends had that with theirs. Has anyone ever felt the same??

"The crayfish is renowned for its ability to fall in love with, mate and impregnate itself. This suggests some of the Moon's more illusory meanings. The scarab is almost always shown with a solar disk between its claws. This is a symbol of renewal and immortality, showing the Moon's association with natural cycles and rhythms." http://www.angelpaths.com/majors/moon.html I guess I am thinking that it could be an indication of falling in love at first sight. But going inside oneself and asking.."Is it forever?"

I'm attracted to Sag a lot, but I mostly think it's because early Sag is in my 7th house. But I've never really felt like in the end I wasn't attracted anymore.IP: Logged |

I have a Leo Moon.. I have one female Pisces friend with a Leo moon, We get along really well. I have only dated one guy that has a Leo Moon.. All of our Planets were in the opposite signs except for the moon.. I have a Leo Stellium and he had an Aqua Stellium. I never really got into him.. I didnt get any feelings for him at all. I felt he was a bit cold, and desensitized to the world. (but he was a cop, so thats prob why) He didnt laugh at my jokes, he would just calmly say that was funny... OO sooo boring... I'm good with Sag/Aries moon but I seem to be surrounded by Virgo Moons. Even both my kids have Virgo Moons. I do like Scorpio Moons though. IP: Logged |

I have a Virgo Moon. I am attracted to Virgos sometimes, but for the most part I don't think it would work either. I have Gemini Rising, Saturn in Gemini, and a stellium in Sag. That might be too much drama for a Virgo to deal with.IP: Logged |

so, is this topic about ones Moon sign in the same sign as apartners sun sign including conjunction?or is this including a partner having moon-sign qualities full stop? i had the pleasure of an aries once and well, maybe this theory has some credibility. i love my aqua, (im an aries moon) she has an aries venus, they conjunct, shes definitely not an Aries in my mind, i usually think of her as a sag/cap/aqua (shes a aqua sun, cap moon, sag mars, 9H sun). in conjunction with this theory, i think itsp ossible that - were not looking for our Moon sign as our partner, (think about this - the moon sign is the sign were most familiar with about ourselves - been there done that. who wants to love/marry themselves? well i don't, im sure i can speak for most people when i say ALMOST no one.) but we have to consider that our moon is also our needs, so what we perhaps are really looking for is our partner to contain energy that can accept, cater to, and warm to our needs. that makes us feel comfortable and "at home". that is needed for long term. my DSC is in Aquarius, my venus is in libra (square uranus/jupiter/saturn). my 7h ruler is in capricorn conjunct saturn, oppose jupiter, square venus, trine sun. i think we want our DSC/Venus/7H ruler, but we also need the that partner to cater to our needs to some degree atleast but to not be that moon sign either. ? this makes sense for me and my partner aha, maybe im being biased in theory a little. she has moon and dsc in capricorn, im not a capricorn, but im very earthy (5 earth planets, inc. mars and mercury in virgo - her 7H ruler is in the 6th) and i have prominent saturn aspects - saturn square moon 1 orb, saturn square venus, saturn trine mars. saturn in my 5H. she has neptune conjunct her dsc, i have neptune square moon 1 orb and trine mars, in the 5H. that plus my fire Big 3 (leo sun/asc, aries moon) feeds her mars & venus in sag/aries. i think i carry the energy ehr moon needs to feel comfortable and catered to, but posses astrologically speaking, energy she wants in a mate. I have a Capricorn Moon (Aries Sun). Capricorn Sun men are emotionally comforting - They feel like being home. It's an easy connection.. but it's not necessarily sexually attractive (unless we have other aspects to make it sexual). It is definitely nothing like a typical Sun2Sun square. Aries Moon men are usually unable to understand my feelings. They operate on an emotional level I find superficial and difficult to connect to. There doesn't seem to be emotional depth there, so I can't say I get much out of this conjunction. I find them (God this will sound so horribly posh.. but it's the truth so here it goes..) unsophisticated and tactless. I do however have an Aries Moon ex - who also has a Capricorn Mars conjunct my Moon - and he is A-OK in my book Capricorn adds a touch of dignity that I find very appealing. IP: Logged |

I am not going to be fully objective here because I have my Sun conjunct my Moon in Scorpio EXACT. I have a thing for Scorpios, a knack if you will, of finding them in a crowd. I feel their energy and am immensely attracted to them but I find a lot of Scorpios to be just plain mean and ruthless and just downright vindictive in nature...this from someone who has four planets in Scorpio, including both the lights, exactly conjunct *shakes head*The reason could be that: 1. I am way too idealistic OR 2. I belong to another dimension See...I am not being objective and yet seem to nod towards your post ------------------ Ask Me anything. Anything. I will contrive to bring you the answer. The whole universe will I use to do this. So be on the lookout. This book is far from My only tool. You may ask a question, then put this book down. But watch. Listen. The words to the next song you hear. The information in the next article you read. The story line of the next movie you watch. The chance utterance of the next person you meet. Or the whisper of the next river, the next ocean, the next breeze that caresses your ear—all these devices are Mine; all these avenues are open to Me. I will speak to you if you will listen. I will come to you if you will invite Me. I will show you then that I have always been there. All ways. ♥ IP: Logged |

I'm an Aquarius moon, although I can't say I've ever been attracted to any guy that had an Aquarius placement in The Big Three (Ascendant/Sun/Moon). In my most prominent relationship, his psyche was in Aquarius, and in all my casual ones, their Venus or progressed Venus was in Aquarius, but that's about it. I really adore Sagittarius placements (it's my IC, so they fall into my 4th plus my Aries Venus naturally singles them out as well) so that's been the major pattern I've personally noticed. Yep I have moon in Scorpio, along with Pluto, Juno, Litith and Valentine. They are like poisoness eye candy to me. I just wanna bite em! Until they try to verbally rip my head off. :/I get along with Scorpios way more than I use to. I use to not get along with Scorp girls. One of them is one of my best friends now. But yeah, I tend to clash with guys that have Scorp Sun. Even if I can't stand em and they can't stand me. I still can't help but stare. ------------------ Hi! I've been a member here for a little while, and I enjoy it. I pretty much come on here when ever I have lotsa down time, sometimes often, and other times its not for a while. Hello all...good topic, and I can resonate alot with it, and many of the responses..I am a Libra sun...my first husband, and the father of my children, was a Libra...barely...born on the 23rd of Sept...although I always thought he was a Virgo, and always told him when we got along he was a Libra, and when we didn't, a Virgo...lol I was joking, and at that time had no clue there was a such thing as a Moon sign, ASC, and other planetary influences... Anyway, that union lasted 20 years, 18 of them we were married...my second husband, I recently found out, is Libra Moon...oh no...No personality whatsoever, seriously lacking in the affection, compasion, communication departments...I know not all of it has to do with the Moon being in Libra though, because my son has Libra Moon as well...it's just that it felt SO exciting at first, a deep connection...so I thought...I was unhappy within months, and that marriage ended abruptly... I feel that his Cappy Sun was involved as well, because I have dated another Cappy son, and we deeply connected, but it was more of a deep friendship... I just found that Cappy Suns(my ASC) and I don't 'click' on a deep level...my daughter is a Cappy, and we are nowhere as close as my Cancer and Aries boys... My bf now, of a year and a half, is also a Libra Sun, but we both have Scorp stelliums? I think they are stelliums anyway? lol Him Scorp ASC, Venus, and Neptune...me Venus, Mer, and Neptune...I have always been attracted to Scorpio men, and wondered why, and why I have always attracted them in droves...I have dated I believe, 5 of them...lol I know why I attract them now, but Scorp Suns and I...great friends, but nothing more...way too aggressive for me... Good stuff people... ------------------ 'Anything and Everything is possible with Anything and Everything' IP: Logged |

Moon is about mother, and about emotions. You have your emotions because of your mother, and (as a side note) you have life, because of your father, the Sun. And also personality. How your mother affects the moon, well, emotions change, like the moon affects the ebbing and flowing of the tides, if an astro celestial body can affects our ocean, without even a gravity aspect, just like magic or something, then .... huh? What was I talking about? Anyway, good luck with the moon and also the moon aspects, and venus (secondary mother planet), and the fourth house (moon house). Also, the fifth house (venus house). Not the sun house, it's love inthe fifth house, venus (love) house. IP: Logged | |
