I have a T-square in my natal chart composed of 1st house Pluto in Scorpio (4 degrees) opposing 7th house Mars in Taurus (also 4 degrees) with 4th house Jupiter in Aquarius (9 degrees).. I understand the overall gist of the opposition and I know Jupiter exagerrates everything it touches (making me a very restless, overly energetic and somewhat frustrated person with that opposition) but I am having trouble interpreting Jupiter in Aquarius in the 4th house.. Most description on Jupiter in the 4th house say something like "you had a happy childhood" etc. (I had a terrible childhood which is understandable because it is afflicted) Can anyone help me understand what Jupiter in the 4th might mean since I know the focal planet represents an area you direct too much energy towards..

Jupiter in the 4th says that there was something good there, maybe not everything, but there was the ability to detach (Aquarius) and come to some basic philosophy that is returned to throughout the life, as a point of comfort. Maybe whatever happened to you, you had to ask why it happened, or speak out about it, and that was needed to keep going, so then in adulthood you keep going back to the Jupiter in Aquarius which says to analyze, speak out, inform, let people know what's going on.

It's opposite point is Leo in the 10th, so to resolve the tension of the t-square the aim is to make it into a grand cross by way of incorporating the sign opposite the focal planet. Leo in 10th says to draw away from theory and manifest into something creative that is shown to the world that you in one way or another become known for. Get personal about it, don't think just do.

Hope this helps

"a very restless, overly energetic and somewhat frustrated person with that opposition) "

that can apply to the domestic environment, family, roots, unconscious too

with the Jupiter in Aquarius in 4th

the restlessness, frustration in the home feeling that you independence, freedom is threatened in some way......especially with the close Mars oppose Pluto aspecting it

don't let judgment issues stemming from the domestic environment, family hinder you from your personal power, development and acting securely in relationships

I think you nailed it.. I do tend to over- philosophize what happened to me in the past and my feelings (in an analytical & detached way) Sometimes people who know me wonder how I can be so detached about difficult things that have happened in my childhood. It IS comforting to come back to it and over-analyzing that area of my life over and over especially when I am stressed.. I have come to peace with my past and feelings but I never seem to move on.. I am creative (painting & writing) but I lack self-confidence in showing my art when others say I shouldn't.. I would say living in my mind is a big comfort to me and my major weakness.. I just needed that clarification.. time to get me some Leonine creative self-confidence.. Thanks for helping me Lonake, really appreciate it!!! xx

Thank you Glacous, I feel like I understand Jupiter in the 4th with your description.. I feel like I am addicted to analyzing my past even though I am emotionally over it. Thanks for giving me some piece of mind.

The fourth house is mother (also family), and if you have a fourth house mother, that means your mother will be lucky for you, or else you'll have a happy mother, or else you'll have a religious mother, or else you'll have several mothers, or else your childhood (4th house is about the beginning, also the end), will be happy, or else it was your lucky time, or else that was when you were with your relatives, or was a religious time for you, and surely, at the end of life, it'll be a good time, not just expanded.

Good luck! Lots of it!
