Hey all, knowflakes!

I'm just interested in astrology (like, all you are) and I wanna know how it, well you know, started.

Who discovered astrology? I know it has some connection with astronomy, the planets (celestial bodies some call it), but, how did peoples find out which planet is which, what they're called, what they do, and all that jazz?

I wanna know all of it, all the secrets, please tell me, I am sooooooo curious.
