Topic: My ascendant and appearance

Hi, i've heard that your ascendant and your first house can effect your appearance, and the only aspects to asc that effect your appearance as well are conjunctions?Now, my chart is very heavy with ascendant conjunctions and planets in the first house, can anybody interpret how these would effect me? Capricorn Rising (right on the border of the 1st and 12th house)
mercury conjunct asc.
mars conjunct asc.
saturn conjunct asc.
uranus conjunct asc.
neptune conjunct asc.
(also have jupiter opp asc. and moon trine asc.) First House:
sun
mercury
venus
saturn

My natural personality is a Sag sun with Sun conjunct Ascendant, but there are other factors affecting me, I'm different from time to time, (usually it's the 5th house affecting me though). As for you and your chart,it's so totally complicated, LOTS of things affecting your risings and houses, it would take so much time to analyize the chart as a whole, if you want you can give me, a specific aspect, and I'll interpret it. Hi Chris! The first thing that came up to my mind is that the sign of Pisces is said to have a little bit of every Sign. So you could come across as a Piscean looking person.(more so if Ascendant is on the Cusp) Or as you have Capricorn Rising and it's ruler Saturn is with the Ascendant which is a very strong Aspect it may over rule the other planets in terms of looks. The planets in the 1st house, specially if within range of 8degrees to and from the Sun are said to be in combustion and if it is so the influence of this planets are like invisible and over powered by the light of the Sun. If your Sun is in Capricorn this will put enphasis on your Saturn traits, If in Aquarius you will have a more Uranian mix. The traits of the Planets that are conjunct with Ascendant and not combust by the Sun will be visible through the houses they rule. For example if you have a Gemini in the 5th house, it is ruled by Mercury, so others immediately percive you as someone who produces a cool and intellectual approach to romance. Your efforts are often highly creative, romantic and courageously daring.
And so on related to the other planets and the house they are related to.
If Mercury is combust it can be a good thing if ahead of the Sun, if behind some of his traits are twarted and/or invisible to others. Where do you have your North Node? It would be nice if you could post your chart and a picture so we could learn with the experience.  Ps: Check if you have intercepted houses and their rulers, if so they manifest less over the matters of the house they rule.
And the rulers of the duplicate houses will have an increased manifest over two houses.

AS for gemini in the 5th house, that has nothing to do with love (despite what all the millions of web sites aobut that say) it's only about the father, and your personality. NOT about love. It's only about how you are. IP: Logged |

Oppositions, and trines also can affect appearance..Yours is just amazing, though, if they're in orb...There are so many variables there. I'd like to see a pic myself
But ok, Merc on the Asc would tend to make the person Gemini like, talkative, but it's in Capricorn, so I think very perceptive and studious looking, possibly problems with pessimism, maybe down turned mouth or hooked nose. Neptune more Piscean like, dreamy, people see what they want to see in you.

Thanks for the interest! My chart is pretty heavy, 1st house is just cluttered, sun and moon have some insane aspects... and i've got ALOT of conjunctions. I think there was a miss understanding, the reply I posted above wasn't about me.
I was just opiniating about Chris chart and giving examples on how to define conjunct planets by their strength when LOTS of them are conjunct. I mentioned Mercury ruling the 5th as an example... I have Saturn conjunct the ASC but people say I look more Gem(Gem sun,Merc and Venus)
If you look ,you can see Saturn as worry, pain and strength gotten from pure need .Scorp ASC
Gem Sun,Merc,and Cancer moon in the 8th house
