I need some help figure out what would be the right career for me. I'm 32 and I'm still jumping all over the place. My self-worth and image seems to be supported with what I am doing/being as a career, which mean when I feel lost with my career I feel lost as a person. I have schooling in Music, Architecture, Graphic design, photography and Illustration but I never seem to be satisfied with one. I've had about 35 jobs (started working when I was 13) and I'm about to finish a degree in Engineering. Am I always going to be like this? Maybe someone can help me with my chart that I'm just not seeing...

I know that my MC is Pisces (which fits what I have been pursuing) with my Neptune in Sag conj my Sun in the 6th house.

The 6th house is about being able to demonstrate a specific skill which lines up with what I have been pursuing all my life too... going to school to learn a trade/skill. Plus with my Sun ruling the 3rd house- which is about communication- which music, design, etc are communication skills. I'm obviously filling the Sag role here with endless schooling. LOL.

Maybe I need to look at the 6th house ruler too? With it being pluto in the 5th house... ?

Or maybe the 2nd house ruler which is in Taurus in the 11th/12th house? which is related to creativity too... I don't know.

I do know that my 2nd, 6th and 10th house rulers form a YOD... what does that mean? lol

What career would be the best for me...? where I would feel satisfied and feel like I'm being able to use my skills to their best ability to help people!

Please help!
Thanks!

This is my intuition, not based on the chart. You need to do something with the arts.It can be a secondary part but you must have some creative outlet in order to be fufilled.

Sadges often have to make peace with the fact that they won't just do one thing in life, or at least it isn't natural to them to settle down--it is natural for a Saggie to have many loves, live in many countries, have many adventures, and change career many times in the course of her lifetime.

The society pressures us to "settle down" into one relationship, career, and hometown--that's not right for Sag! Your Taurus Moon wants some stability and financial security, so in your series of pursuits you'll need to provide yourself with that. BUT with Sun-Neptune in Sag in the 6th, in your everyday activities and daily work, you still need the chance to be intellectually and spiritually adventurous. So when you plan what to do nexy, don't think of it as what you will do/have to do for your entire life. Think of it as the next adventure you will throw yourself into, en route to the next adventure after that.

I agree that you need to do creative work to be fulfilled, but that isn't necessarily something you need to do for money...in fact, trying to balance those things can compromise artistic work.

With Virgo North Node, your calling is to be of service to people in your daily work, like you said--so you should write a list of people/groups who are most in need, and think about working with them. While you are still in school, you could start out volunteering for an organization working with one of these groups, which would give you more experience to get more of a leadership position for pay after you finish the degree.

You should also consider positions that would send you abroad to do activist work/help people in need. You have a wide variety of skills, and they include an ability to be flexible and creative and "go with the flow" in your daily work...those skills are invaluable for helping people in parts of the world where everything is very chaotic.

Understanding that your calling in life is to help others through your daily work is, I think, a great revelation of your Saturn Return! (In Virgo, like that North Node.)

I think you can answer this question best yourself, by changing it to the question, "Who do I most WANT to help?" And do consider people/groups across the globe.

Thanks Lucia for your input.

I am volunteering with habitat of humanity- using my architecture skills. I'm getting to a place soon that I'll feel comfortable living in another country- maybe after I finished this degree. But, anyway, I struggle between wanting something stable and going with the flow. Once I do get to a place of satisfying my Taurus Moon, my Saggie planets are like... what about me? Then I'm off on my next adventure- completely ignore my Moon.

I think what is hardest on me is all the "crap" I get from people about how I'm living my life... living in different areas of the US, constantly in school, switching jobs/housing, traveling, and not MARRIED. I just got my a$$ handed to me last week from my dad side of the family b/c of this. My moon wants to be married but my Sun is like, no way unless they completely get me. My Sun and Moon never agree... it gets on my nerves! My Moon wants to own a beautiful home, nicely decor in one city... but my Sun says hell no! I guess I'm just completely drained/mentally tired and wish there could be a compromise. LOL

Will my Sun and Moon ever agree? lol

I have a Pisces Sun/Taurus Moon conj Jupiter friend just like me. He gets crap all the time, but he is in the military as a musician (lucky him) which helps with this. I thought about going into the Navy but b/c of a serious back injury that occur last year that will never get to happen.

Yeah, I think part of the challenge of a Saturn Return--and you're still assimilating yours--is detaching in a healthy way from all that "crap."

You only live once (or, I guess most people on this site don't agree with that, Lol)....so living in a way that's natural to you and makes you happy is essential, but brave.

If you start just ignoring what other people think you are "supposed" to do, and do what you love, you start meeting all sorts of inspiring people who you feel accepted by no matter what.

Pleasing the people who give you "crap" is a hollow feeling...that happened to me, I wanted someone to be proud of me. Ironically, when I abandoned everything I thought other people thought I "should" do, my happiness and passion were so contagious that everyone was on board. (For example, instead of disapproving, my dad realized that he had been "settling" in his own career.)

People who are truly happy and secure don't pressure you. The pressure comes from their own self-doubt.

The Virgo Saturn-NN is the solution to pleasing both your Taurus and your Sag...when you are truly giving service to people who you truly think need it, you'll FEEL like you have both great adventures and a beautiful, safe home.
