This might be the one Saturn transit that truly breaks my heart. I'm not kidding. Something I've wanted and worked my ass off for a very very long time has become like sand---slipping through my hands way faster than it came to me. The world is also trying to bring me down...and they might succeed.

What gives with this transit? I thought the MC was saturn's accidental dignity. And on the subject of 'dignities': Cap influenced people should do fairly decent under Saturn but I, the Capricorn Ascendant, have been f%cked over on almost every hit from this stupid planet that mattered (they say only the harsh transits matter).

Advice? Experiences? I'm just tired now.

I don't like Saturn transits. I would just try to be as patient as possible. Don't push too much, until the transit is over.

I just accept the inevitable with Saturn.

I don't like them either because I don't think I learn anything from them at all. Everytime I regain some confidence in my abilities, I get brought back down again. Though I feel if I wait, I lose everything.

I have that conjunction natally in the 12th so I kind of know what you mean. Its a jekyll/hyde placement fo show, but by transit I guess the interpetation is different depending on which one is the transiting planet. I'm guessing you've learned what you're actually getting from those Uranian types you may be attracted to?

In my experience (which involved the painful decision to switch careers, leading to happiness in that area of my life beyond my wildest dreams), Saturn wants to FORCE you to abandon anything you're doing because you "should" do it, or because it meets external standards of success.

He's a tricky bugger--you THINK the reason he's tightening the noose is to make you more disciplined and "settle" in life--make partner at the top law firm in the world, or whatever the equivalent is in your life.

The REAL reason he's tightening the noose is so it will be INTOLERABLE to settle. The more you try to settle, to achieve what you're "supposed to," the more he'll punish you and take things away.

What he's really doing is pointing you in the direction of your true lifepath...he wants you to fling off the noose, quit the law firm, and go become the trapeze artist you secretly dreamed of being when you were fifteen, but then you said "I can't." (Obviously the jobs I'm picking are metaphorical.)

When you're following your passion, the world CAN'T bring you down, because just doing your work is its own reward.

I was very successful in the wrong career, and it felt like everything was a struggle, and there were all these inexplicable obstacles, even though I was doing everything "right."

When I took the brave step to follow my big dream, it was like I suddenly had Saturn with me instead of against me. It was like the world was bending over backwards to help. People who were obstacles or who had made obstacles drifted away, and new people with passionate energy and a sense of wild possibility appeared.

AND the external success I craved, I got, except this time it felt good.

(Now if only it could be that way with my love life. Ironically, this happened via my Saturn return, when Saturn was on my DC, square my MC...now Saturn is crisscrossing my MC, squaring my Moon-Saturn-DC, conjunct Pluto...so maybe he's pushing me to learn that SAME lesson in my love life?)

The problem is that I'm not settling, this is what I've wanted to do for a very long time. Things have just suddenly become difficult this year...in that area, and almost every other aspect of life.

Is it still something you're passionate about? Something that fills you with pleasure, delight, and glee in its own right, whatever anyone else thinks?

If not--if it's something you've wanted to achieve or prove--Saturn will shut it down, until you are doing something that's entirely its own reward.

I have lots of passions tbh (this being one of them), but not all of them put money in my pocket. I admit going through the training for this has made me die a little inside, but I know it will be a sweet reward to have the licensure in the end.
