Hi Knowflakes,

My fiance and I are making plans to get married this Fall and I really want to choose an auspicious time and date. I've searched through quite a few sites regarding "electional" astrology and from what I've read, this seems an optimal chart for a wedding/marriage considering the time we'd like to get married (Oct-Nov 2011), and I'd love to hear your opinions and thoughts.

Thanks,
Kat

I just briefly looked at the chart but from the 21st Century perspective. That's looking at Pluto's fellow transneptunian dwarf planet/candidate. Pluto represented the 20th Century with it being discovered in the 20th Century. Pluto's fellow transneptunian dwarf planet/candidates represent the 21st Century with them being discovered in the 21st Century.

Pluto and its fellow transneptunian/dwarf planets are evolutionary intensified objects. They have to do with evolutionary intensification.

If you get married on that day and time, the marriage will be ultra evolutionary intensified including collective evolutionary intensified energy. It's hard type of energy to handle.

I really don't believe that wedding charts are good or bad. I believe that everything happens for a reason. Every marriage has challenges. Some have more than others, and some have less than others.

Wedding and other electional charts were looked at before the discoveries of Uranus,Neptune, and Pluto. Of course, they made charts without having a clue about these objects. I feel it's exactly the same with wedding and electional charts in the 20th Century made before Pluto's fellow transneptunians were discovered.

The discovery of the 21st Century objects represents expansion of consciousness just like the discovery Uranus,Neptune, and Pluto represented expansion of consciousnes.

BTW

That Ascendant/Descendant axis happens to be conjunct the Eris Nodal axis in Taurus/Scorpio.

That indicates a strong persona/relationship connection to collective diversity, equality, discord, and evolutionary intensification.

If you plan to be public figures, spokespeople in regards to Eristic matters, it would be a great chart.

If not, it can be very difficult energy to handle. Conjunctions to transneptunian dwarf planet/nodes can be very difficult energies to deal with due to evolutionary intensified nature of those nodes.

The Midheaven/Imum Coeli in the chart happens to be oppose/conjunct the Geocentric South Saturn Node with 29 minute orb and the Geocentric South Pluto Node with 8 minute orb.

That's a strong aim in life/roots connection to both past collective structure, discipline, limitation, authority and past collective transformation, power, evolutionary intensification.

It can be great if you want to be public figure/spokesperon in regards to collective Saturnian and Plutonian matters.

It can be very challenging too.

I'm getting married, too, in May and have been trying to find an optimal time for the moment when we say "I do". It's no easy feat.

Fixed ascendant - good for stability
Sun, Venus, Mercury in 7th - very good. But Venus and Mercury are in the next sign so technically they belong to the next house (please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm still learning the rules of electional astrology).

Ruler of 1st and 7th are squaring but separating, so that's good.

Jupiter conjunct 1st house - excellent.

Moon looks to be in ok shape, but do make sure that the last aspect it makes before going void, is a positive one.

Sag-Gemini and Aries-Libra are incepted - not sure if it's a good thing. Can someone else advise?

More importantly, i think you should check how the marriage chart meshes with your own natals.

I checked the transneptunian/dwarf planet candidates and their nodes in the chart.

I also checked Right Ascension and Declination which are the equatorial longitude and latitude coordinates.

The regular chart is Ecliptic Longitude. I am a believer in looking at the chart multidimensionally. Looking at only Ecliptic Longitude is just a one dimensional view of the chart, and it doesn't approach things from multiple perspectives. This leaves out a lot of information that you won't see in Ecliptic Longitude.

Overall, This is 21st Century view of the chart of the marriage which takes place in the 21st Century.

Also with that marriage on November 4, 2011

In Chaldean Numerology, the marriage birth number would be a 4

The Number 4
________________________________________________________________________

Vibrates to: Uranus
Represents: Individualism, originality, inventiveness, and tolerance.

4 is the number of unconventional behaviour and sudden, unexpected
events - also of genius.

When the Sun Sign is:

AQUARIUS:
This vibration intensifies the Sun Sign personality traits.

LEO:
This vibration sometimes opposes the Sun Sign motives, but, with
effort, can be used to balance the Sun Sign nature.

ARIES, GEMINI, LIBRA, SAGITTARIUS:
This vibration harmonizes well with the Sun Sign character, motives,
and personality traits.

TAURUS, CANCER, VIRGO, SCORPIO, CAPRICORN, PISCES:
This vibration is in sharp contrast with the basic Sun Sign instincts.
When it surfaces on occasion in the personality, the behaviour is so
unusual, relative to the person's or entities normal or natural Sun Sign
attitudes, it startles others, and often surprises themselves as well.

The Meaning of the 4 Vibration
________________________________________________________________________

People or entities with the number 4 are seldom understood by their
friends and family. They're an enigma to everyone they know. They make
their own rules, and these rules don't always match those of society.
Marked individuality colours every thought and action. If there's a
different way to do anything, the 4 person will find it. Their speech
and actions frequently shock others, and it often seems the attempt to
shock is deliberate. It is. 4 people live in the future, caring little
about the present. They're light years ahead of others in their ideas
and ideals. Going along with this trait is an innate talent for
prophecy, for knowing what will happen tomorrow long before tomorrow
arrives. Their life-style ranges from unconventional to the bizarre, yet
their "crazy" ideas are successful more often that not.

Anything far out or off the beaten path appeals strongly to the 4 person
questing, curious nature. For example, a 4 person with a well-aspected
Jupiter in the natal horoscope has an excellent chance to be the first
person to tame and make friends with Sasquatch or Bigfoot - or locate
and swim along with Nessie, the Lock Ness monster. If the 4 person also
has a Scorpio Sun or Moon, the discovery, if attempted, is almost
certain to be successful. That's because such incredible, unproven, and
so-called unscientific theories never deter, but instead excite the 4
person, who is deeply convinced of the reality of whatever can be
conceived in the mind. To be told that a thing is impossible only
intensifies and spurs the 4 person's resolve to prove it is possible.
The phrase "mission impossible" rings the great bells of mental
challenge in the very soul of a 4 person.

Although the 4 vibration advocates change in every are of life, from
politics to art, these people are strangely reluctant to accept change
in their personal habits, which remain rather fixed. They can be quite
stubborn when people try to dictate to them or try to mould them into a
more acceptable social pattern. Because prophets are often unrecognized
in their own time, and because 4 people live far into the future, their
grandest and truest visions are often ridiculed and ignored. They're
fascinated by UFOs, and there secret wish is to be contacted and taken
aboard, hopefully not to return to the chaos of Earth. Reform movements
like Women's Liberation and Equal Rights for Minorities attract 4
people, who are genuinely dedicated to tolerance and brotherhood (and
sisterhood). Friendship is vital to the 4 vibration, and these people -
not always, but usually - have bushels of friends from all walks of
life. Money means little to them; they're as likely to mix with Kings as
with paupers - they care nothing about class distinction, have no desire
to impress anyone, and would just as soon live in a van, a tent, or a
sleeping bag as in a mansion. It's not that they're prejudiced against
comfort or wealth, it's because they simply don't notice their
surroundings. They live in their imaginations. One of their finest
virtues is the tendency to "live and let live." The 4 person doesn't give
a ginger snap what you say, however outrageous or against his or her own
principles - and expects you to return the same consideration.

There is a chapter in "Star Signs" by Linda Goodman that is dedicated

http://users4.jabry.com/chaldeannumerology/
to the numbers 4 and 8 as these are the Numbers of Fate and Destiny.
These pages are not included in this program as they are quite lengthy
and involved. Any number that reduces to these are explained further
in Linda's book.
