Look what number sign your family members, friends, co-workers are from your own and what you are from them and you will get a fair amount of insight into your relationship.

This is Sun sign to Sun Sign.. Your Sun sign is House #1 (ie I am a Leo so Virgo is H2 for me.. and so on)

H2…….. If it’s the second sign said person gives you lots of gifts,
H3……..If it’s the 3rd sign said person on average talks to you and might try to teach you,
H4……..If it’s the 4th said person treats you like family or (if there is enough stress aspects) might try to put them in their place,
H5…….. If they are the 5th sign from you this person tries to have lots of fun with you,
H6…….If they are the 6th sign from you they will serve or do favors,
H7……. If they are the 7th sign you will feel drawn or quite opposed to them if not both (depending on the rest of the synastry),
H8……If they are the 8th sign they will try to have sex with you and/or will reveal exotic info or secrets of a sexual and/or occult nature,
H9….. If they are the 9th sign from you they will try to get political and or philosophical with you,
H10….If they are the 10th sign from you they will be a respectful and mentoring or they will try to lord themselves over you if not either from time to time (depending and the rest of the synastry),
H11….. If they are the 11th sign from you your involvement with them will largely be tied to some club or organization,
H 12….If they are the 12th sign they can bring out hidden issues (painful ones if they are much stress aspects in the synastry).

You will find 7.5 times out 10 these are quite accurate.

Vedic Astrologers do the same thing, but they mainly look at Moon as the Ascendant.

My sun is in Scorpio, so:

H1 = Scorpio
H2 = Sag - and yeah, they do. Not only material ones, either
H3 = Cap - and not particularly. I find that it's mostly Virgos who do this to me. Try to teach me, at least, as for who talks to me a lot, that's pretty much every sign
H4 = Aqua - and I have experienced that from them, but not all the time...
H5 = Pisc - hmmm, not necessarily. That one is usually taken by Sags, as well!
H6 = Arie - well, more often than not, actually
H7 = Tau - not really. We get on, but there's no particular attraction or repelling.
H8 = Gem - seriously, I have THAT effect (sans the trying to have sex with me bit) with any sign. For some reason whenever I talk to anyone, all of a sudden, the topic of sex or occult things comes up at least once, literally out of the blue!
H9 = Can - not exactly. I can safely say no cancer has ever done that, not that I know of at least.
H10 = Leo - yeah, kind of...
H11 = Vir - nope, mostly through family relations.
H12 = Lib - can't say they do. Then again, I don't have too many painful and/or hidden issues, so that can be the reason too.

Edit: oops, got it the wrong way around. So it's backwards then?

Linda wrote about this in Love Signs all those years ago... in the Sun Sign Compatibilities section in the back of the book. It was a great introduction to the Mundane (based on Houses) Aspects:

1-1: Conjunct
2-12: Semi-sextile
3-11: Sextile
4-10: Square
5-9: Trine
6-8: Inconjunct
7-7: Opposition

Like anything else, used judiciously, they are additional pieces of information that will be accurate to some degree about 80% of the time.

And additionally, when I was learning Astrology all those years ago, it helped me to internalize the meanings of the Aspects.

H3……. Yes gemini people I love usually and like talking to.

H4……..True. I won't elaborate lol

H5…….. hmmm Actually I wouldn't define Leo as trying to have lots of fun with me (that's more Gemini & Sagittarius lol).. Maybe trying to *create* something with me... like a joint project?
Also a Leo man is the only man I've had a desire to have children with, which is likewise a 5th house matter.

H6……. Yes! So true..... As much as occasionally the Virgo pickiness gets to me, DO I EVER appreciate these people and the things they do? lol In particular Virgo Suns and Virgo Venus... They're just awesome!

H7……. I rarely feel opposed to Libra people in any way... not male nor female. I like them and we have interesting conversations. I realised - that this could be because I have Venus (11th) trine Mars (7th). There is just something about the double Venusian influence on my Mars!

H8…… lol Many men with Scorpio placements, in particular Venus and Mars badly want to have sex with me and the feeling is mutual. But it's not so much the Sun.

H9….. Actually - No. This (politics & philosophy) is not stand out with Sagittarius. What is most stand out is that they are very interested in my European background and culture. We both love airports, wide-open spaces, animals, nature and personal freedom. It's best when they have something conjunct my Uranus in Sag.

H10…. yes Capricorns are respectful in general, not more so towards me lol I can't explain this relationship in so many words. It is not like a family bond or a colleague bond or a friendship bond.. It's more like a karmic bond that feels right and is mutually helpful. In a sense it's better than a friendship because the connection runs deeper - but it is also more demanding, in terms of what we expect from each other.

H11….. I do tend to meet Aquarians when I'm involved in a club or a cause lol Aqua people are just very easy to be around and talk to. They always broaden my social network in some way.

H 12…. I love Pisces and I trust them with my secrets. This isn't always a good thing - because as well intentioned as I believe Pisces people to be (at least in their interaction with me) - they still end up slipping something to someone at some point. But in general I both give and receive so much positive energy from these people that whatever problems come up between us can be brushed under the carpet.

My mom's in H8...I don't know about that. We do have a somewhat spiritual connection, though.
I was once picked up by a blond Leo from Hawaii.

Taurus in my solar fifth. I do like them. They're fun for me.

Pisces don't generally try to teach me, and it seems like I talk to them more than they talk to me.

Aries in the 4th. Three Aries Suns in my family.

Gemini, I have some favors to ask of you. So far it seems like Air signs are supposed to be really good to me. I'm not sure if this has been the case.

Cancer 7th. I suppose I'm drawn to them on a certain level. I do currently have a Cancer friend in my life. Not super close, but we're both middle-aged bachelors, so we get each other to a certain extent.

Leo 8th...I'm down if you are.

Virgo doesn't typically get political or philosophical with me. Virgo seems to freak a little around me. Perhaps they understand that I'm as much of a perfectionist as they can be. Besides, they'd be getting philosophical with a triple Sag with Aquarius in the natal 9th. Surely that wouldn't jibe too much.

Libra 10th, my roommate. She does try to lord over me from time to time, and she's a Pluto conjunct Sun, so she likes trying to get in my business. No mentoring relationship either way. She does respect me from a weak vantage (meaning that if she has a question about one of her personal faults, she'll come to me to ask about it; she always wants my opinion in these matters). It's interesting that this is the only air sign that's not supposed to offer me stuff.

Scorpios 11th...it's true. The Scorpios I'm closest to are here, at an astrology site. I would think Scorpio in the 11th would equal more friends that are Scorpios.

My parents are Cancers and I whould say they have both given me enought to get started in life.

Mixed feelings about them, I've bumped into them mostly at work either as coworkers or as my boss.

I've had two Sag booses both in IT. One was a dope in a suit, but had the flair to pretend to know what

The other was fair and vary street smart he knew how to manage people because of that and a lot more technical then the other sag.
