What are grand trines all about? Do they serve any purpose in one's natal chart?I have the following Grand Trine in my chart but I'm not sure what it means: Venus - Saturn - Chiron grand trine. Please let me know. Thank you. IP: Logged |

Most western astrologers wouldn't say it's a grand trine since you're including Chiron, which is a comet/minor planet. Grand trines include luminaries + major planets, and they still consider Pluto even tho it's now a dwarf planet (classified the same as Eris and Makemake).IP: Logged |

Most wouldn't count it as its influence is not......a strong force in the chart.IP: Logged |

I have one between Jupiter, Mars, and Pluto in water. I think it's the only factor that adds for a very deep sensitivity in my chart, and I think it's given me some very lovely intuitive gifts. I feel the Pluto made it highly destructive for a while until I was able to harness it's power for regeneration instead of this constant "death" I was inflicting on my self IP: Logged |

I thought Chiron was considered a planet now. Either way, it has a pretty strong influence. I've always counted it as part of my stellium. IP: Logged |

Major planet, tho, or minor? Because as far as I know it's a comet/minor planet.IP: Logged |

It can be called either a comet or a minor planet.IP: Logged |

Yeah, maybe it was minor planet I was thinking of. Oh well, I still count it as part of my stellium if pluto blasting it wasn't enough indication. IP: Logged |
