Lovely synastry!Venus/Mars conjunction is awesome because it's the ruler of your 4th house and the ruler of his 8th. There's great chemistry between the two of you in the deepest sense. Strengthening this aspect is the conjunction of this to your own IC. Ruler of your 6th - Moon - conjuncts his MC. You inspire him to become the person he is supposed to become in this life. As this involves your 6th house, maybe you are able to assist him in some way in his career/life purpose. Ruler of your 1st conjunct his IC - this is an excellent aspect! You make him feel at home. His Mars (ruler of 2nd and 11th) also conjunct your 1st house ruler - this will bring out his desire to form shared goals and shared assets with you. This is a very good foundation upon which to establish a union. Your sun in leo, although widely conjuncting his DC, is still valid in my opinion. He sees you as a natural partner. This could also be an idealistic relationship but both of you are fixed so take care to give each other space and allow each other to do things his/her way. IP: Logged |

Oh wow, thanks Fiona for the imput. I always seem to forget about house overlays... Are you versed in composite interpretations?Oh gotcha, Lioness... I've got Moon trine Pluto natally, so it might not be a problem, but that Saturn in the 11th/12th is definitely a concern... IP: Logged |

Yeah I hear ya.. I have Venus/Pluto so I dont feel it so much in synastry.. I feel the moon/pluto was such intensity... Overpowering.. But Your Taurus might feel it.. Since he does not have moon/pluto..
Have you checked your Solstice points.. Taurus/Leo is each other's Solstice points.. I dated one Taurus when I was 18.. He knocked me off my feet.. We were inseparable. The only time were werent together was when he was at work, and when he got off from work, I was outside waiting. We went back and fourth for 6 years... Not constant, but we would always seem to find a way back together... Even if just for a day or two... lol.... We are actually still in contact with each other.. (20 years later) Im really close to his family.. We dont get "together" anymore and havent for over 12 years.. He got along with my husband (ex) and I get along with his wife.. They invite me to family parties.. She even invites me to her B-day party... A fellow Leo.. She is!! ha ha

How do you calculate solstice points? And how come you and this Taurus were on and off, if you were inseparable? Were you guys just too young? The nice thing about Taureans is that they're very consistent and seem to be just as sensual/affectionate as a Leo sun, its weird how similar Taurean/Leos can be...

Yes we were both way to young for such intensity. Neither of us knew what to do with it. We were Bf/GF for only a few months... but never left each other.. PLUS... ooooo ( I always got major drama) long story.. We were 18/19 fresh out of school.. It was just to much.. As for Solstice points. If you sun is say 1Leo than 29Taur would be your solstice point.
you can figure them out by 30.29 - (your degree) i.e my Sun is at 16 ' 35 Leo so I 30.29 - 16.35 = 13.94 Tau is my Sun Solstice points. Here's a link http://thezodiac.com/solsticepoints.htm

Hi vertiver - Unfortunately, i'm just getting a hang of interpreting synastry, not so familiar with composites yet. I find that using house rulers helps to further refine the meanings of the actual aspects themselves - if there's a lot of activity going on between the angle rulers of each person, chances are the bond is going to be memorable or even life-changing in some way. I like to see conjuncting angle rulers in both charts (best if it involves ALL angles), I think it helps to cement the bond between both parties. My mother, my two sisters and myself have Libra-Aries, Capricorn-Cancer axes, all conjuncting each other within 1-3 degrees. I don't think this is a coincidence. If angles are so important, so must the planets that rule them Let me know if my interpretation resonates with you. I'd like to get better at it. IP: Logged |

Yeah Fiona, it sounds pretty spot on. The only thing that I seem to have a problem with is expressing my true feelings, I dunno if that has to do with Mercury opposite Saturn in the composite or what?!!I guess my solstice point is at 22 Taurus, which is widely conjunct my Venus/Mars midpoint...
