How could this be in a Sun in Aries chart?

In relationships where there is conflict, I flip flop so bad and then opt out of commitment or whatever to keep the peace.

Latest flip flop, we need more money coming in so I applied for jobs. I had an interview for a laundry worker and she said it involves weekends. Well weekends my 8 year old is over for a visit and that is when I can only spend time with her. The lady at the job seemed really nice and the coworkers are friendly - but the reality of going from a weekend down to a few hours spent with my daughter is not good....

that is just an example....oh the lady said it can be monday to friday.....but no holidays this year...

Okay, where are the rest of the planets and what are the aspects to moon and mercury?

There's indecision and then there's the ability to see both sides, with indecision the root could have a connection to a lack of confidence,a stressed mercury or mars could have issues asserting what it was they really wanted.
To be honest it sounds like you're trying to make yourself do something that you don't want to do....I wouldn't class that as indecision really...more a struggle or inner conflict.

I have the same issue ( indecisive,.. insecurity )

Aries sun 6 degrees
libra moon 26 degrees

and ... Cheery on top , pisces mercury

I agree it's possible with the Libra influence.
My ex was a double Aries with Mercury in Aries and he was very indecisive and hardly possessed the typical Arian energy.
He has a stellium in the 7th house and Libra Rising.
