I would be thankful if somebody could give me advice in connection with a man that I got to know some time ago. Actually, he was a teacher of mine for a semester. I think that there was something strange going on between the two of us and I still can't see the nature of our relationship clearly. All I can say is, that I felt everthing in connection with him: love, passion, hatred, sadness, frustration... I felt both comfortable and uncomfortable in his presence (he didn't need to do or say anything because sometimes his mere presence just made me so nervous that I started to fidget). It was terrible and magically beautiful at the same time to look at him. Once I noticed that he was staring at me as if he were enchanted. And he always made mistakes when we had to talk to each other...

Also, I noticed that many times we were very attuned to each others' thoughts, as if we could trace out what the other felt and thought.

And I think that we both were drawn to each other and wanted to get out of the sight of one another.

I still wonder why I experienced this. Does our synastry chart shows these things, too? I think that I haven't experienced anything similar before...

No, he returned home in the second half of July, 2010. (Unfortunatley, I don't know the exact date here.)

Well, I've looked at the progressed charts and I can't say...

Looking at the numbers, You're born on the 3rd he on the 12th. So you both have the number 3 as your root number. Root number conjunct root number is often the cause of intense attractions.

With the progressed charts, I see that you have a pSun trine pVenus applying aspect. This is a major romance aspect. It's often found in the charts of people who enter into serious relationships and well as those who generally get along really really well. This aspect is still applying, so perhaps that's why you can't get him out of your mind.

There is a lot going on in your progressed Synastry, however, a pSun-Mars double whammy aspect seem to delineate what you've described.

In September 2009 his pSun @ 15 Scorpio was in separating conjunction to your nMars @ 13 Scorpio. On the one hand there is Scorpio and all it represents in combination with the Sun-Mars dynamic of authority vs willfullness. On the other hand there was his pMars @ 5 Cappy opposed your pSun @ 6 Cancer. This would've/should've brought out additional authority/home v. career themes. Additionally, it would turn the conjunction aspect on its head and level the playing field a bit. In the first instance he's has the power and you have to obey, but in the second the roles are reversed. Suddenly a situation is created where the authority of both parties is kept in check and an balance of power is achieved.

Come July 2010 and we see the Scorpio conjunction has separated by three degrees while the opposition stay put at 1 degree orb of separation. Now, march 2011 those orbs have grown even wider.

Yes, the tension was really there. I witnessed the applying effect of the Sun trine Venus aspect as well. It just made us attracted to each other and inspite of the frustration we both tried our best to talk to each other in a friendly way, sometimes even with more attention to one another and very carefully. It was interesting...

Back in that time I had many problems -- I was unsuccessful in my studies and in my relationship with somebody, plus there were conflicts at home, too. I was frustrated and depressed and he was frustrated as well. As far as I know, he also had problems: probably he had a wife but their relationship didn't really work. And I guess that he also went through a crisis concerning his career. He didn't say these things directly, just made hints about them...

I witnessed that balance of powers, too: usually, he liked provoking people and made them feel embarrassed. However, I could somehow stop him and he didn't do these things with me. He was always careful to be very normal with me. Moreover, he appreciated my work, too.

Do you think that we will have the chance to get together? Or is the present separation meant to be permanent? Could it be possible for us to establish a successful relationship at all?

Your own chart shows the pattern of someone who must/is branch off from past associations. Often I've seen this manifest as changing home, or finally moving out from the parent's lair.
