does the reference place have to be exactly where i'm residing (living/habitating)?

beause i was born in a different country (on a military base), but I live in the US, so would my reference place be the city i currently live in now?

if so, how do I change the reference place?

Hi,

Go to www.astro.com, where you post your astrodata's for Natal Chart. After you go to: Extended Chart Selection.

Down there you will see:
modify reference place.
There write the country and place, where you live now. After that is possible to make Solar Return.

Almost, yes. But you have to have in mind your Natal Chart and aspects, there. Aspects, repeating in Solar Return (as in Natal) are very important.
Beside that Angles in Natal are not the same as in Solar Return. In SR, planets in angular houses (1st, 4th, 7th and 10th) are most important, especially if they have exact conjunction with the angle.

The best is, when Solar Return has almost the same ASC, as Natal Chart.

To read Solar Return Chart, you must have SR on one side and Natal on other side: both Charts must be in front of your eyes.
