I have this with someone I really like. The orb is 1.47

I was just wondering it that is strong? And also what it means? Anyone else have this? I don't know a whole lot about that aspect. I'm very new to astrology

when you start to feel insanely obsessed and that you must have this person with the depths of your soul, you'll understand what the conjunction means.

Thank you very much, Ami Anne I like your name as well!!

I still don't get which one feels it more? I am the Venus person, and to say I'm obsessed with him is definitely an understatement. I want him to feel the same way I do... is this a union of LOVE or just obsession? Or unrequited love?

It is an intense attraction aspect.Love is more complicated than attraction /obsession.
Love is all the other things and most importantly, can you co-exist together lol
If I had to hone this aspect down to one phrase,it would be intense attraction/obsession.

I have Pluto (me)square Venus (him) and Pluto (him) opposed Venus (me) in my chart with someone who I am doing everything in my power to forget.

It's tough, especially since my Pluto also contacts his Sun (sextile), Moon (conjunct),Mercury (sextile), Saturn (conjunction), Uranus (sextile), and Neptune (square), and we have a Venus-Mars opposition.

I 'm the Pluto person in Synastry and I feel obsessed.
There are many answers if you search this forum about Pluto/Venus. I believe the bond can be deep and obsessive for both parties, what is different is the role they share. Pluto person is the domeneering who want's to control the lover and venus person is drawn to the powerful nature of pluto and is consumed.. Both share passionate feelings for each other.

I have natal Venus conjunct Pluto in scorpio 7th house. I feel i am possessive over my loved ones - but wanna get ride off this nature. Read somewhere that woman with pluto in seventh house will finally get a Sun conjunct Pluto man. Though i never had bf yet, im happy of the fact- Sun conj Pluto person ll be little possessive to, so both can go well..

I have Pluto in H7. I did marry a guy who has Sun conjunct Pluto.

Most of the men I met have Pluto in hard aspects..
I cant really say the difference. Its just normal for me..
We actuallly were not overly possesive with each other.. It was one relationship that trust was just there... I felt confident that I could trust him..

I have this aspect with a man that I'm crazy about/ obsessed with I'm the venus person and he is the pluto person (1.6 orb). We split up 2 months ago and I cannot stop thinking about him its driving me to the mad house. We are not compatable but he seems to have a strange hold over me. Its taken every bit of will power not to call or try and reconcile. The issue we had was he was very controlling his way or no way. So now he has disconnected to regain control of the relationship... The relationship is supposed to be about transformation?

His pluto is also conjunct my sun and mars.

You can't tell by this aspect alone, though Venus is the softer planet and generally you'd look to the softer planet to see the more vulnerable person. Though, in this aspect it doesn't really count for much as it's effects are mutual.

From what I've seen the Pluto, which makes sense, since Pluto is the planet that indicates there is an obsession there.

Venus is in love.
Pluto is obsessed.

Venus might feel like Pluto does not love them (In reality this is a Plutonian act, with the purpose of manipulating Venus into becoming a better version of him/herself).

Pluto might feel like Venus is not obsessed enough with them and unless they play games they will lose Venus. they often see the Venus person as promiscuous (perhaps better looking, more sexually attractive, likely to have a wider choice of partners, likely to cheat, not as strong and stable in their value system etc). --:edit: It doesn't matter whether the Venus person objectively behaves and looks like Aphrodite-personified... The Pluto person *will* perceive you this way - and they *will* strongly criticise it (although they are attracted to it).

Pluto is more likely to end things - usually out of fear that the relationship won't work. Pluto wants to be remembered so if they leave your life, they will do so with a bang.
Their philosophy is: Better a remembered jerk - than a forgotten nice guy.
They're very paranoid about fading into a grey area of " The Venusian's Past Loves". They obsessively want to *stand out*.

This topic of the Venus Pluto conjunction has personal intrigue for me. Some years back I had read about this aspect between two people and I had to think it was just a bit over blown. In the past three years however I have had an amazing relationship with a woman and since she's a bit younger than me it didn't start out acting on/out the distinct "noticing" that seemed present at the time....it was clear the intrigue was mutual. When we first met we were around each other a lot but the intrigue remained unexplored since it was a work environment. She moved away but she has kept messaging me quite frequently ever since. I liked the rapport and would respond, but again... the age difference just made me feel like I should keep out the feelings I was having within myself. To my continual surprise she would message me over and over, wanting my advice, wanting to know my personal thoughts and feelings about things. I didn't mind sharing. The connection and bonding so to speak was very endearing. At this point I think she is the one person on this planet that knows the most about me... We've spoken on the phone as well and have spoken for hours at a time. We have managed to actually spend sometime with each other in person for the better part of the day but it hasn't become intimate. Never-the-less this woman is on my mind all the time now.

Being a mere student of astrology I didn't think much when I first looked at our charts over two years ago. I've learned more and now see connections that so many are talking about especially with regard to the Venus Pluto conjunction.

Ok, I'm 47 (male) and she is 25. I am of the generation that has Pluto conjunct Uranus in Virgo (4 deg.) Her Venus is exactly (to the minute) conjunct my Uranus. Her Venus is 8 deg conjunct her Sun placing my Pluto at her Sun/Venus midpoint. My Sun Mars conjunction is in opposition to her Venus (2 degs orb). Also! My Moon conjuncts her South node by 1 deg and her Cancer Moon conjuncts my North node by 3 degrees. My North node conjuncts her Vertex exactly.

Would appreciate any thoughts on this.

oh its an obsessive attraction and can add a lot sexual chemistry and passion :P however, the pluto person can easily become jealous, controlling and manipulative towards the venus person. its not really the pluto person's fault , it just tremendous attraction

This is interesting... I'd be curious why the differences between those who are the Venus person obsessing over the Pluto person, and those who are the other way around. One theory I have is that if the Pluto-Venus conjunction is in Libra (Venus's home), it will go one way, while if the conjunction is in Scorpio (Pluto's home), it will go the other way. My feeling if that Venus will go wild for Pluto in Libra, whereas Pluto will go nuts for Venus in Scorpio, but maybe it's the other way around. We'll have to have some specific feedback to see which way the theory goes.

my pluto in scorpio opposes his sun, venus, mars, mercury in taurus
his pluto in libra conjuncts my sun, mercury, south node

This sums up the story with my ex.
loool.. Except that I was the one who ended things.

I was the Venus and I didn't feel obsessed whatsoever.
He wasn't Plutonian enough natally.
But still, after things ended, he became quite obsessed with the whole thing.
Quite strange, indeed.

I wouldn't mind having it in synastry again, if both people are Plutonian and can handle the energy. Otherwise it's a mess.
But it does add sparks.

from my experience it is that they are definately both obsessed, the feelings are mutual, the two planets just express themselves in a different way about the attraction. ive been on both sides

when i was the pluto person, i didnt really pay too much attention to venus person until they really started showing their feelings for me, i was obsessed and thought i had found my soulmate but i didnt want to throw myself out there too much because i wanted to keep the control.....its like you want them so bad but your so afraid to lose them at the same time. its tricky im sure it depends on each person tho. like i could share things with him but at the same time i felt like i couldnt be vulnerable because i liked him soooooo much. i could never "control" him or tame him so it ended. after it ended i still couldnt stop thinking or talking about him for a lil over a year until i realized his actually pretty gross.....lol

currently im the venus and my guy is the pluto, 0'17 seconds, so yea pretty much exact!!!! and wow do i notice the difference, at the beginning he could just tell i was so attracted to him because the look in my eyes, id get lost in his eyes everytime, omg, i feel like this time im obsessed but i feel like it is safe for me to be vulnerable so im actually the really open one in the relationship and his (pluto) is the one that doesnt want to tell me everything, he holds back, but at the same time still shows his intense feelings for me from time to time. he still keeps coming around after 4 years also

o yea also somebody mentioned how pluto person views venus as promiscuous and wild, i can tell this guy time and time again im a loyal girl, im sexual but not a **** , yaknow things like that and i feel like he doesnt believe me at all, ever. i often feel like he views me as "slutty" which hurts my feelings a lot actually. you shouldve heard some of the outrageous questions he used to ask me. he still comes after me though.

i definately perfer to be the venus person.

although it sucks that the pluto person cant seem to let loose and just mush and merge together with me. too much about control there

Spot on! His Venus - my Pluto. However, I never truly felt obsessed with him @ all - it was/is the other way around.
