So, I thought I would pose an astrological question on here for once that had nothing to do with relationships, and this is a problem that has reared its head again recently, but has always been this huge issue in my life - teachers, bosses, counselors, have all hated me all my life. I mean, really disliked me.

The thing is that I find it SO HARD to follow rules, at all, perpetually. I mean sure, I'll skim the general guidelines, but I cannot resist doing things my own way. I'm a very morally/ethically responsible person, I go out of my way not to hurt anyone, and still manage to complete whatever it is I'm "supposed" to be doing, but at the end of the day they just cannot stand me, and I am a pretty nice, cordial, and fairly charming person. I definitely go out of my way to be nice to them. I know it sounds so ridiculous, and how I must seem like some huge, secret @ss withholding information on this post, but seriously. This is the truth.

I'm a person that loves objectivity, and I'm never one to hold out on criticizing myself and correcting various habits - I am an inherently good person. I try SO UNBELIEVABLY hard to fit into the mold that society wants me to be, but I find myself getting REALLY emotionally claustrophobic, then anxiety kicks in and.. yeah, man. It's really weird. What in my chart points to me being such an outcast and vessel for other peoples huge dislike? Literally, I can trace this back to when I was in 2nd grade and my teacher just could not stand me and always picked me as an example to the class about how to go about something the "wrong" way, and I was a pretty good natured little kid from what family members have told me.

Off the bat your Aqua moon hates authority lol...however it might not be that they hate you so much as you make it difficult for them to do their jobs and thats why they don't care for you. Think about it...teachers (and bosses for that matter) have what 20-30 kids in a class...and a disruptive student or someone who is not doing what they are supposed to do (following the rules) is gonna take away from the other students. So that might be room for why they are hostile towards you (as far as when you were a kid).

You just answered your own question. That is why they don't care for you. In general (and I know this sounds terrible) but many companies don't really like individualism and they want you to do what they want you to do...the way they want it. And typically if you can't adhere to the rules then you get fired. I don't think they hate you so much as you make their job difficult. Bosses/managers etc have too many employees to be checking up on if you are getting something done. I know I have been a manager at my current for for two years and I have had to fire someone because they could not follow the rules. Yes they were getting things done, but not following the rules is undermining both me and the other managers. I know you may hate rules, but if you hate rules so much get a job where you are your own boss...because until then you have to put up with others rules and the consequences of what happens when you don't follow them.

For sure, and I would completely understand that if I was blatantly disruptive in class, but I wasn't! Haha, I don't know, it's very hard to explain. I followed the rules in regards to school/essay papers, and always showed up on time and was quiet in class, but whenever I'd participate in class and share my own thoughts (which really weren't offensive more than they were just.. going deeper than the teachers wanted it to, I guess?) it always warranted dislike. I've had a lot of jobs, none of which I've actually been fired from, and I DO actually do a good and thorough job, I just.. tweak the rules a little bit? I have no idea how to articulate this without sounding like an idiot, but customers have always loved me, so have my co-workers, and I've gotten great results based on what bosses have wanted, I just didn't follow their specific formula. Which I get why that would bug them, but I notice that they would gently correct my coworkers whenever THEY did that, but with me (even if I follow the rules moreso in a certain area then one of my coworkers), I always got the brunt of their meaness WAY more, and it would last so much longer.

I get the impression that I just give off distrustful vibe to most people, but I never really have ill intent at all, nor am I a mean person.

My ex bf sounds a bit like you.

What I never understood about his behaviour - is: "Why be a rebel without a cause?"

I can understand people not following rules that they disagree with on principle. I think this is perfectly logical and normal behaviour.

But there are rules out there that do have a purpose.. and there are rules out there that I know for a fact he 'agreed' to deep down... and he STILL rebelled against them, for the pure reason that they were rules. I can't help but find this behaviour mindless.

If those rules were altered and they were suddenly exactly as he wanted them --- He would most probably change his mind and rebel once again..

Can you relate to this at all?^ Do you do this yourself?

If you do -- Could you try to explain it to me?
Because I always found it difficult to understand.

Hi JohnFKennedy,
looks like your duplicate signs (Pisces and Virgo) and intercepted signs (Cancer and Capricorn) are to play.

The ruler of one of them, Saturn is also in Capricorn and it's opposite your tenth house (which so happens to have chiron conjunct jupiter) may magnify the struggle you have with authority figures. This also makes things seem 'personal' to you. Could also spark either untimely response on your part to the issues you are having with superiors or just their general dislike with how you express yourself to them. Your moon (which is a ruler of Cancer) is in aquarius conjuncting your NN which amplifies your 'inherently good person' quality along with your desire to find a way to 'fit into the mold' that you believe society wants you to be. It also goes without saying that Saturn in Libra is transitting your first house - the whole 'am i to blame', 'are they to blame' for the difficulty you are enduring, being very apparent to you and others.

You don't mention having any difficulties with the elders in your family but Bob Marks makes mention that having a Cancer/Capricorn intercepted in 4th/10th can bring about 'early problems with parents being repeated with relationships with boss and coworkers'.

Yeah, I can kinda relate to that, I guess. I normally always have a justification for why I choose to do something, as I've never been privvy to committing random acts of rebellion for rebellion's sake. What happens with me if that I test out the most efficient way to do something that works on an objective level and on a personal level, and if it still gets the same results that the "rules" provide, and it's easier for me, and no one is getting hurt, then I just kind of.. see no reason why I shouldn't go for it, especially if it's a completely non-offensive method.

Every now and then I will switch up my own personal way I go about my life (outside of the context of a school and job) just because boredom sets in and I like to shake things up, but like I've been saying, it's never really been at the expense of other people, which is why I'm puzzled people get so aggravated with me when it doesn't even effect them in that context.

Sun squares my MC, plus I have Mars in the 12th. (Mars in the 12th, you get blamed for stuff you had *nothing* whatsoever to do with.) I have had a problem pretty similar to yours, but maybe not quite so bad. I was told it was the Sun square MC that does it. Maybe it's your Mars square MC? Your Mars is in the 6th house, too. Just putting that out there. I'm by no means a *real* astrologer, just a student...

Anyway, yes, I know what you mean. I follow the rules, and have perfect attendance at work. Never late, never make personal phone calls at work, etc... Still, every now and again I'll get some pi**ant little mid-manager who suddenly decides I'm doing EVERYTHING wrong, and they decide to micro-manage me into the ground. Don't know. The last one who did that to me was a pretty incompetent manager. I knew it straight off the bat, and that seemed to rile her up to no end. Even though I never, *ever* did a thing to try to undermine her. She was a Scorpio, which is my 7th house.

I can totally relate to this, and I find myself dealing with the problem in spades right now. I have a teacher who always feels like making an example of me in front of everyone else and I honestly feel like I've been brought back to grade school. I also try to follow the rules if they're within reason. If not, then everything is up to interpretation (within moral limits of course). Other than that, I'm not very disreuptive, I do my work, I study my @ss off...but this person still has it out for me. Its almost scary sometimes.

One obvious one might be Chiron in the 10th causing you wounding experiences with authority but I'm looking more at your T-Square involving Pluto, Sun, and Moon. I'm starting to think Plutonians threaten most authority figures. Atleast its true in my case (My pluto's in the 10th making aspects to my Moon and Mercury).

http://www.horoscopes-love.eu/aquarius.php

"....their passion for breaking with the establishment and traditional authority. Aquarians delight in this, because for them rebellion is like a great game or challenge. Very often they will rebel strictly for the fun of rebelling, regardless of whether the authority they defy is right or wrong. Right or wrong has little to do with the rebellious actions of an Aquarian, because to a true Aquarian authority and power must be challenged as a matter of principle."

This is completely my philosophy towards life, and maybe this applies to anybody with Aqua in their chart? Just a thought.

I found similar behaviour, difficult to understand in someone. When I told him that I thought a specific thing was now a conformist behaviour (seriously), it left him PO'd, because it was something he'd been doing once in a while (when he could).

Tricky..
First I thought of Saturn re:Authority but yours is doing fairly well. So I took a look at the Sun and it has an opposition to Pluto, as in you want to take the reins in situations, but you do it to such an extent that it feels almost oppressive. That's one angle.
Another is a tight Moon Pluto square, just means emotions intense and other people seek you out as a sacrificial lamb to dump their stuff on, the problem being that at one point you started to believe it not realizing it was the projections of others and not about you.. that's another piece to the puzzle.
Tight Sun trine Saturn in Earth is a good handle on personal authority, that could get in the way if you're around people who want to steer you according to their agenda, esp with the Sun in a fixed sign, you're just not having it.
Venus sq Uranus likes to put a spanner in the works.
You also have Merc in Taurus sq your nodes, this is huge as it says your fixed ways of relating are getting in the way, and you need to let go of that a bit, embrace the Moon a bit more, since it's conj the NN in the 5th, it's ok to be part of a group. But your mind says to back off. Merc is the chart ruler here so it has more importance.
Were there problems with the father, as in abuse, abandonment?

You have Jupiter in Cancer in House 10, that's fantastic for a career isn't it? Bosses will go out of their way to do stuff for you with this placement is what I've seen and heard. They say people with this placement rise to a prominent position in their careers as Jupiter expands everything it touches and in this case it's your MidHeaven.

Lol yeah indeed Beth..!

You DON'T sound like a fool at all JFK.
Very recognizable/healthy to me for sure!
I was my own boss for many years because I had ALWAYS problems with authority etc, I still can't deal with it/them..
Mars/NN conjunction in the 6th in Aqua. (= square Moon and: Solstice NN conjunct Moon or vice v.)
Also fixed Sun & Moon. (Sun in 12th!)

It's my Scorp-Moon/influence involved where it's your Scorp-Pluto which is not only in square aspect but ALSO the solstice point of your Aqua-Moon... hmm interesting similarities .. (my Aqua-NN at 14,5*/Scorp-Moon 16,5*)

JohnF. I've moon, venus,N.N,mars and mars in house 11...
I think you get into a wrong pattern which not works. Nowadays I can say exactly what I want and not often someone be angry at me. Intonation and your body language say more. It's not only word.
This could be some kind of bad self-confidencend.
Noone are perfect but...there are also many stupid authority out in our world and sometimes we need people who have an different opinion.
