A man who is so completely and totally in love with a woman (after two months of knowing her), that he literally does not have eyes for anyone else. There could be a line up of attractive women asking him to be with them - and he'd say no, and he wouldn't even consider it. He is just completely, obsessively head over heels into this girl - and no one else. He is convinced that she's "the one". What astrological placement or aspect (in natal) ^^ do you associate this kind of determination with? Or - if you think it is synastry related... What aspect in synastry could lead to this? That definitely sounds like the culprit of a firey moon/venus combo in a man, imo. I experienced something like that with an ex, sometimes I found myself doing that with my Venus/Eros in Aries in the 7th conjuction.. IP: Logged |

Honestly, I'd say this is normal. To fall for and/or obsess over someone you believe is the one for you.If it's something else, then it might be what Magi astrology calls a captivation, ie. in synastry her Saturn holds his Venus/Sun/Chiron in its sway. IP: Logged |

Sounds like the scorpio influenced to me. Atleast in my experience. IP: Logged |

To me it sounds like f--ed up Neptune stuff--a Pisces Sun or Moon guy, who at the very beginning is all like "This Is The Love of My Life," and then after between a week and a month once they're actually, closely involved, he either decides she isn't perfect, or he still thinks she's perfect, but there's some Tragic Reason they can't be together. It sounds like all sorts of Neptune projection. Not that healthy, non-psycho men never fall in deep, loyal love...they do. But this sounds like a thing that's been untested by any real everyday life. If you've got a guy that feels that way after ten years of living with a woman, so he already KNOWS all her worst flaws, it's likelier to be a fiery man--Leo/Aries Sun or Moon. Or a Taurus who just wants to settle in long-term! This one sounds all Neptune-y...it could even be a long-distance/imaginary relationship. IP: Logged |

Actually, TrueTaurus, you have a point. Maybe an Aries with lots of 12th house/Neptune? Or Aries with his 12/Neptune triggered in the synastry?IP: Logged |

I think so too.. but we don't have any of the Magi aspects you mentioned. He was so overly romantic especially in the first few months. ------------------ “If malice or envy were tangible and had a shape, it would be the shape of a boomerang.” — Charley Reese IP: Logged |

No clue, but I would guess from a psych standpoint that she fits in majorly with his anima, so I'll just say that she carries a lot of his Venus energies in her natal, possibly. And that she might want to play it safe because she is receiving projections from him, so he's not seeing her exactly, he's seeing an idealized version, which can go sour at any moment. It's nice to receive good projections, but the negative ones aren't fun.IP: Logged |
