if it doesnt matter then why do natal charts automatically show chiron without you specifically putting it in yourself but you have to do that with nessus?

my boyfiend, a scorpio, has chiron retrograde in 5 house.
he a person who has indeed had some very bad experience in love affairs. he still loves his ex wife, with whom they could't have children.
but, i guess, you might say, that it ist because of his scorpio sun, not because of chiron...

I have Chiron rx in H1/H2 cusp in Aries.

I found this
http://www.valkyrieastrology.com/Makeover/asteroids/chiron.html

Astrologically, Chiron's placement on your Natal Chart represents an area of our life where a significant wounding or sacrifice will take place, depending on its Sign and House placement. The House will indicate the area of your life in which it will occur and the Sign will give an indication of its flavor, how you'll respond, and how it can be healed.

When Chiron is retrograde, expressing this energy is more difficult. In my experience I've found that those with a retrograde Chiron in their natal chart hold onto their hurts more readily than those who do not. They are wounded more deeply and forgiving and forgetting represents a major challenge. These folks will have to make a special effort to understand that many times the hurts others inflict upon us are unintentional, much as Hercules' wounding of Chiron, in which case they should give special effort to internalizing the thought, "It's foolish to take offense when none is intended." If it was deliberate, they still need to work at getting past it or it will affect their own progression. It's more important than ever that those in this situation put concerted effort into the healing part of Chiron's energy. In helping others with similar wounds they can help heal their own.

Hmmm... I have chiron retrograde in aries/8th house. I've had my share of bad relationships, but I feel like each of those relationships have taught me important life lessons. I'll have to think on this some more.

Here's another website http://www.angelfire.com/journal/GregoryJdeMontfort/Chiron.htm

This website has the houses/signs

Not everyone will be sensitive to the influence of Chiron. As a guide, Melanie Reinhart offers us the following chart precepts to work with, and should two or more be present in a chart, you can feel relatively safe that Chiron's influence will be felt, and that the themes of Chiron by sign and house will resonate and be relevant in the life of the person.

a) Chiron conjunct any of the angles
b) Chiron conjunct or square the Moon's nodes
c) Chiron aspecting many planets, especially the Sun, Moon or Ascendant ruler.
d) Chiron focal according to the "Jones Patterns" of the chart
e) Sagittarius or Virgo on the Midheaven or Ascendant
f) Chiron in either Sagittarius or Virgo
g) A satellitium (stellium) of planets in Sagittarius or Virgo

myself as well as my partner have our Chirons retrograde. i even feel that Chiron dictates both of our lives, individually and together.

mine is in my 5th house, and i have a several applying factors from Lioness' list (Sagi AC/Stellium, and it's part of a Kite formation involving my chart ruler and DC ruler). it might be farfetched, i don't know, but i constantly feel i'm deprived of the ability to truly enjoy something with a light heart. being a partial exile for years and years, casual romantic relationships are impossible without the guy having in the back of his head the word "serious development = marriage". it kind of over-shadows everything in similar ways. i feel that i'm definitely overly fixating onto it and i let my life revolve around it…

my partner's retro Chiron in the 2nd house is directly opposing his Virgo Stellium 8th house. he was abused as a kid… and has loads of psychological issues, like the inability to accept affection. i can see something is seriously blocked in his mind, and he struggles to express what needs to be expressed.

interestingly, in Synastry our Chirons both fall in each other's 3rd house. we have to work very hard on successfully communicating our thoughts and wounds in order to accept each other and i think, ultimately support each other. i think that's one of our missions in our relationship in this life time.

retrograde Chiron is something we have to overcome or learn to accept in positive terms for us.

I have Chiron Rx Aries 29' depending on the house system 11th or 10th house. I've had a problems in my social environment but I've also had problems in finding/keeping a job or attaining a career.

I found this site.
http://www.horizonsmagazine.com/Astrology/RetrogradePlanets.html

Natal Chiron Retrograde
* initiates us to discover unrecognized abilities
* looks within first to heal itself
* magnetizes healing from the outside

Chiron is the planet of the wounded healer. Natal Chiron retrograde indicates that this is a time to discover previously unrecognized abilities. Often, the most beaten down parts of ourselves are actually our greatest strengths. However, they've never been developed or cultivated and remain in that wounded, beaten down state. This lack of growth somewhere in our lives is now holding us back. It's time to let these wounds heal, to let go of old grudges, to wake up to how powerful we can be if we cease being a "victim". Chiron is an initiator, helping us break through to possibilities undreamed of. However, we must be willing to take the initiative, consciously stepping out of life-as-usual.

I too am very influenced by Chiron.
I really need security in my relationships mostly, I'm really clingy but I repress it because I don't want to scare everyone but as a result I am always anxious about what can people i care about think about me, I always feel I love them more even if I had the proofs it's not true but I still feel it, It makes me feel really insecure.

I have :
- Chiron retrograde in taurus 6th house
- MC in virgo
- ASC in sag
- a stellium in sag
- Chiron aspecting all my planets (Quintile Mercury, Opposite moon and uranus, quincunx sun venus saturn pluto neptune and mars)

I have chiron rx in the 4th house in Taurus. I did have a very difficult home life, and I don't feel I have fully dealt with those issues - it's as if I can't totally rid myself of those demons. Interesting...

They say, if it is retrogade in natal chart, You magnetize healing. Before you heal others, you heal yourself. It is better i guess.

I also have Chiron retograde. In Aries in 4th house.
It is part of a "fist of God" or "Thors Hammer", consisting of the exact square of Chiron to Vertex/Eros in Cancer in 8th house and both being sesisquare Mars in Sagittarius in 12th house (which is also conjunct ASC and Neptune and NN).

(Never heard of that configuration before, but it was mentioned in the report I`ve had from darkstar astrology).

I guess Chiron is moderately emphasised in my chart:
sextile Moon(3), square Saturn (3), (opposite DNA exact), square Sun/Moon-mp exact, square Vertex exact

Sagittarius on the ASC

Stellium of Mars, Neptune, NN, Sun and Mercury in Sagittarius

EDIT:
Interestingly I have the best parents someone could wish for. You`d think I have been wronged or hurt by my parents with Chiron being in the 4th house, but as a matter of fact they`ve always been very supportive of me.

I have chiron r in aries in the 12th house. It makes a lot of aspects.

It conjuncts the moon
trines neptune- (moon ruler and 7th house)
opposes mercury,(sun ruler) venus,(asc ruler)south node, unranus and pluto (Virgo) The sun and jupiter are also in Virgo.

I've had some very intense, life altering experiences in my life. Some more painful than others but when all was said and done, they turned out to be great blessings. I grew a lot from them.

I try to impart things I've learned, sometimes directly but mostly through my creative writing. And I always end up learning more through the process.

Have you had sorrow with material things like not enough to meet your needs etc?
