I try to understand the influence of Neptune. I know it's the planet of dreaming, illusion, of romance. But I think it has a great influence in me spiritually. The other day that I had a deep connection with my inner self, an elightment I could say, I had transit Neptune square my Venus.
Some would think it means illusions, you don't think clear but I don't believe it gives me that. What's the difference between Neptune and Jupiter in that field, of spirituality?IP: Logged |

I am not too familiar with Jupiter but Neptune lets you touch the next dimension whether though spirituality or creativity.

Yes Neptune can be very spiritual. But you have to be able to handle its energies with some centeredness or else your subject to delusions. For as long as Neptune has been in late Aquarius, it have been trine natal Venus. I went into a very deep spritual phase the year before last, but also couldn't tell fact from fiction...IP: Logged |

Neptune = Spirituality
Yeah, I can agree that the line betweem the two can be kind of blurry but that's always been my understanding of it.

hmmm...Jupiter is the philosophy, while Neptune is blind faith. Jupiter asks what is spirituality, why are people drawn to it, why is it necessary? Neptune knows/feels it, and believes. This world is a cold hard place. The mind of man is very dark. Neptune blurs the ugliness, adds sugar and spice to give the appearance of a wonderful world. IP: Logged |

Great post.Jupiter is the Great Expander.
It puts a microscope over anything it touches to show you what is under the surface. It makes it larger so that you can see and Understand. Neptune is the Dissolver.
It breaks down and removes any barriers of apparent separation. This is where the intuitive/psychic tendencies come from. Also, as mentioned before, and ungrounded/uncentered person can easily get carried away in illusions of grandeur. ------------------

As someone who is neptunian in nature and has it aspecting nearly all of his personal planets...I qualify to speak the most..number 1....anyone with neptune who drinks, smokes, or engages in drug usage is screwed... this society does not tolerate that kind of spirituality....

polygamy is illegal and drug ramblings are no longer considered omens, or shamanic experiences, they are considered felonies and misdemeanors..
Number 2 - neptune makes the person interested in illusion....delusion, and most of all, that which is hidden...this is why neptune rules oil...
number 3 - neptune is like the mechanism that makes all planets and things seem seperate...when they are not....neptune dissolves and breaks down the reality of unity.... some think it is the other way around...that it breaks down the reality of seperateness, however we know that on the other side of the universe the physical laws are the same and therefore space is an illusion...since these laws transcend space without any energy output...energy is also an illusion... every center is the same point on a 5-d plane...that means that from the most objective point of view, there is no seperatness of us...that would be like saying two marks on a paper are seperate, yes they are seperate on the paper but not in reality... okay that is what neptune means... jupiter is not philosophy neptune is not philosophy...there is the philosophy of neptune and there is the philosophy of jupiter... the planets have a cahracter, but cannot be defined...the idea that you can define planets is the product of a bad aspected neptune.. for example...venus is not desire...venus brings certain desires characterstic of the planet, and neptune brings certain desires characteristic of the planet... hope ths sheds light on things for you all.
