I've been practising my horary skills (I am quite overwhwelmed tbh!), and I know the basics of the basics. I know the Asc. is one of the significators, along with the Moon, but in one particular chart, I have Saturn RX conjuct with the Moon. As Saturn is rx, would this mean that it does not apply? Or is it another aspect of the significator (me)? As the Moon is opposite the sun in this chart, along with Saturn where it is, I take it this would have a negative outcome?

If Saturn is in front of Moon in terms of degrees, it's an applying aspect since they are getting closer when Moon moves forward and Saturn moves backward.

It's about 14 degrees behind the Moon, so I guess it's not as tough as it would normally be?

Saturn Rx is malefic in horary. Esp in hard aspect to moon...depends on the house too. Most likely answer is no.

Yep, that's what I think. I feel Saturn as a big blockage, and though horary traditionally doesn't use Pluto, that too stands out so much as a beacon of doom! Thank you!

Well, it depends on the question still! If you're asking "Will my ex come back to me?" and your ex's significator is Saturn then it's positive. The nature of the question is above everything. That's why you need to ask a proper, specific question in horary.

I asked if I would meet up with somebody. Nothing romantic (though I have my doubts!). I took Saturn to be my OH as he is a little older than me and can sometimes be a little overbearing in his own loveable, Leo way! Still a little afraid of that Pluto, though!

If you post the chart, I'd be happy to look at it.

Jupitersgirl - thank you! I feel it's a no, but fresh eyes (especially when I'm learning!) are always good!

The Moon is void in your chart, it's not making any major applying aspects before leaving its sign, so nothing will come out of this question unfortunatelly. I don't think anything will happen these days.

Editing to add: Void moon is a stricture against judgement, that's why we do not look at the rest of the chart!

Thank you! I had my doubts about the Moon but wasn't sure at all, you have hit it on the head!
