for me works perfectlycheck it out http://www.cafeastrology.com/articles/idealmanforawoman.html If a woman's Mars is in Cancer, she may prefer the "sensitive type" of man who is compassionate, sensitive, and protective. These women sometimes are attracted to temperamental sorts, finding moodiness in a man rather intriguing. They want men with "layers" (remember Shrek?). However, they are not into the type of "sensitive" men that Mars in Pisces women are most attracted to. In fact, they generally want men who are strong and traditionally masculine. Generally, these women prefer men who are physically strong or at least look that way--remember that they love to feel protected. IP: Logged |

Mars conjunct Neptune works for me -- I find Pisces men sexually attractive. I'm not projecting this aspect though - It's also a part of my personality - That's why we click in the first place.IP: Logged |

Too me this statement is false. I have Mars in Capricorn and I never liked Capricorn men or ones with Capricorn traits. At least in my case I find myself attracted by the sign of my Venus which is Leo.IP: Logged |

I have Mars in Capricorn also...The thing is with Capricorn placements… it tends to happen so slowly and gradually. We think of attraction as an immediate (lighting strikes) event. But this definition doesn’t really work with Capricorn. I have a feeling that if I had a Capricorn man in my life consistently for some time – I would gradually fall for him. It’s not something that happens at first sight. IP: Logged |

I have Mars in Gemini. I was never attracted to a Gemini. I had a thing for a Gemini-esque guy though. But usually I like the strong, quiet, brooding types. edit: okay so looked at the description on cafeastrology...
"If a woman's Mars is in Gemini, intelligence ranks very high on her list of ideal qualities in a man. An athletic or tomboyish look, sometimes on the slim side, is often preferred. Wittiness is a huge turn-on for these women. Versatility, liveliness, and playfulness are qualities in men that these women find devastatingly attractive. They're not especially impressed with what they might consider "less evolved" types of men who display more typical, or traditional, masculine traits. Depressed or boring types won't do. These women want to be stimulated, and their brains are their biggest sexual organs. " This sounds mostly right. Intelligence, athletic build, wittiness? yup. But tomboyish look? Not really, I'm also really liking the ''less evolved'' types. So that's not right either. Where would I have to look to get more clues? Mars aspects`? IP: Logged |

quote: If a woman's Mars is in Libra, she is most attracted to men with understated charm, good manners, and a pleasing and balanced appearance. Coarseness or rudeness is often a turn-off, and so is independence! These women prefer men who are cooperative and who are willing to please. Romantic men are a huge turn-on, and these women truly appreciate classy sorts.
I don't trust charm, so that's out, no pretty boys. I do like nice men, they have to be respectful otherwise I turn my back on em and cut off ties *like that.* I like coarseness (men with Sun conj Mars or a lot of Aries really do it for me). And I like raw sexuality, which is not what Libra is about. My Mars is conj Saturn & Pluto.IP: Logged |

But if you're reading Mars/Venus in synastry, it's still the same, the same energies are at work, so Taurus/Scorpio is still going to be magnetic. Hard aspects in Mars/Venus are the magnetic combos no matter the orientation. The next strongest aspect after conj opp and squares is the trine.IP: Logged |

What about transgendered people?Or bixexuals? The idea behind that theory is that women will identify more with their Moons and Venuses and therefore seek out their Mars and Sun, while Men are supposed to identify with Mars and Sun and seek out Moon/Venus. I'm a straight woman but I identify more with my Sun (Aqua) and Mars (Sag) than I do with my Venus (Pisces) and Moon (Libra). IP: Logged |

Oh yeah, I love outdoor types, lumber jack types turn me on! It helps that my boyfriend has Venus in Aries with Mars in Gemini and I'm vice versa - Gemini Venus, Aries Mars! IP: Logged |

Yeah I agree. My Mars is in Pisces,my Fiance's Sun sign is Pisces.I have to say I love his sensitivity and kind heart, his gentle-ness etc.I also love his deep passionate Scorpio Mars, which Conjuncts my Venus Scorpio.I'd say that part of his Masculinity picks up where his feminine sun lacks.Good package to me though.Cap Sun here btwIP: Logged |

Ultra sensitive or shy men are not usually the most attractive men to these women, as they tend to prefer strong and independent types. Men who don't beat around the bush, who state what they want, and who display a certain level of confidence are ideal.
This one from Cafeastrology is probably the only Aries Mars interpretation that applies to me on the subject of attraction. They say you should also look at a combo of your sun and mars to get a more 3D picture and it seems to work too....though I would also add Venus in my case. IP: Logged |

Transgendered for their original sex, so if they were born a woman they would read for Venus, if they were born a man they would read for their Mars. Bisexuals are more fluid, since their preference isn't set, but they should still read for their opposite, so Mars for Women and Venus for men.IP: Logged |

I agree with mine if hard aspects/house placements to/of my Sun and Mars are incorporated into the interp. Then he sounds absolutely perfect! IP: Logged |

Mars is in Sagittarius: she is most impressed with a man who is playful, fun, intelligent, and honest. An energetic, happy aura in a man is often most appealing. Joking around is a must, and a huge turn-on for these women! They want to have a good time, and to have long conversations with their men as well. They are not especially attracted to men who are overly groomed, generally don't like too much "decoration" or men who put on airs. A tousled, casual appearance is just fine with these women--in fact, it's preferred. A man's status is not of huge interest to these women--they are looking for honest guys whose egos aren't tied up in what they do for a living or how they look ------This is completely true for me. Scruffy is the way too go! IP: Logged |

I find this false--I also don't like the simplistic way it's gendered. My Mars is in Virgo, Venus in Cancer. The men I get involved with are always Libra, Aries, or Gemini with very little water in their charts. Usually air and fire combos. I identify most strongly with my Leo Sun--usually the men I'm turned on by have lots of planets trine or sextile my Leo Sun. IP: Logged |
