Too me this statement is false. I have Mars in Capricorn and I never liked Capricorn men or ones with Capricorn traits. At least in my case I find myself attracted by the sign of my Venus which is Leo.

I have Mars in Capricorn also...

The thing is with Capricorn placements… it tends to happen so slowly and gradually.
We think of attraction as an immediate (lighting strikes) event. But this definition doesn’t really work with Capricorn.
I have a feeling that if I had a Capricorn man in my life consistently for some time – I would gradually fall for him. It’s not something that happens at first sight.

I have Mars in Gemini.
I was never attracted to a Gemini. I had a thing for a Gemini-esque guy though. But usually I like the strong, quiet, brooding types.

edit: okay so looked at the description on cafeastrology...

This sounds mostly right. Intelligence, athletic build, wittiness? yup. But tomboyish look? Not really, I'm also really liking the ''less evolved'' types. So that's not right either.

Miss Perfect has Scorp mars as well as just about everything else on the left side of her chart. my mars and venus are in Taurus, which i don't think go too well with Scorp placements. (doesn't matter anymore in any case)

Taurus and Scorpio are opposites and I think are supposed to be good fits.

But if you're reading Mars/Venus in synastry, it's still the same, the same energies are at work, so Taurus/Scorpio is still going to be magnetic. Hard aspects in Mars/Venus are the magnetic combos no matter the orientation. The next strongest aspect after conj opp and squares is the trine.

The idea behind that theory is that women will identify more with their Moons and Venuses and therefore seek out their Mars and Sun, while Men are supposed to identify with Mars and Sun and seek out Moon/Venus.

I'm a straight woman but I identify more with my Sun (Aqua) and Mars (Sag) than I do with my Venus (Pisces) and Moon (Libra).

My Mars is in Pisces,my Fiance's Sun sign is Pisces.I have to say I love his sensitivity and kind heart,his gentle-ness etc.I also love his deep passionate Scorpio Mars,which Conjuncts my Venus Scorpio.I'd say that part of his Masculinity picks up where his feminine sun lacks.Good package to me though.Cap Sun here btw

This one from Cafeastrology is probably the only Aries Mars interpretation that applies to me on the subject of attraction. They say you should also look at a combo of your sun and mars to get a more 3D picture and it seems to work too....though I would also add Venus in my case.

Transgendered for their original sex, so if they were born a woman they would read for Venus, if they were born a man they would read for their Mars.
Bisexuals are more fluid, since their preference isn't set, but they should still read for their opposite, so Mars for Women and Venus for men.

My Mars is in Virgo, Venus in Cancer. The men I get involved with are always Libra, Aries, or Gemini with very little water in their charts. Usually air and fire combos. I identify most strongly with my Leo Sun--usually the men I'm turned on by have lots of planets trine or sextile my Leo Sun.
