I was absolutely talking about show business. Most people when they say they want to be famous, don't want to be a successful doctor, they want to be a singer or an actress and that's what I was speaking on.

And reporters getting famous is extremely rare and the ones that do usually spend a lot of time interviewing...celebrities (Barbara Walters, anyone?) so I feel it's safe to say that most people who go into journalism out of genuine love for it don't want and expect to become a rich celebrity out of it. When I was a kid I wanted to hop in airplanes and go report on international events and stuff. The last thing I was thinking about was being on the cover of a magazine. I was thinking about adventure, man.

When I wanted to be a doctor I wanted to cure diseases. No, I wasn't short-stroking myself over the thought of the world praising me for it, and that's not why most people go into medicine and you know it.

Politicians, yeah, I can agree with you that a certain amount of fame is usually a motivating factor for them, but I never wanted to be a politician, so.....

my point is that say you are a doctor, you want to do your job well but at the same time would you want to be recognized as a leading doctor in your field? I would!

Most professors are interested in being the thinkers of the century before they go into Phd programs. They want to be the next Noam Chomsky or something. It's not the kind of fame as actors. It's recognition and honors for your ability to contribute to the world. And I see nothing wrong with that. You gotta have that drive or else why should you keep researching? Even if you don't think of yourself as *the thinker of the century, you want to feel like what you contribute is unique and important.

My fourth house ruler jupiter is in my tenth conjunct Sirius; It's on 10th/11th house cusp. POF is in Sag conjunct GA, IC, Antares.

Neptune in 5th conjunct Vega and NN in 5th in Aquarius. Leo moon in 12th house conjunct Regulus. Most important, my Sun is conjunct MC and Aldeberan exact.

But it is very different what has to be prominent, depending on the area… In music and the arts, 5th house and Neptune is important.
Finances, beauty and fashion is more about Saturn I believe…
Being unique, very special has to do with Uranus. I see extremely many famous people have something important aspecting their Uranus, it's what makes them stick out, even when they look normal, they still got a little extra something because of uranus.
I guess thats why Aquarius is also often prominent.
And speaking about Aqua it rules the 11th house, and the opposite house is the house of creativity, the 5th together with the sign leo! And leo is totally fame.
Many actors have a strong moon or neptune or both.
Journalists and writers have a strong mercury.

With those placements, DF, you might very well one day find yourself in the spotlight. What's your 11th ruler doing? Having 11th ruler in the 10th or involved with the Sun, like Sun in 11th, 11th ruled by Leo, Sun conjunct 11th ruler, or having a strong aspect between 11th and MC can indicate having famous friends or having celebrity fans.

I've noticed a lot of celebrities who have other celebrities as their fans have 11th ruler in 10th. It's particularly strong in the case where Leo rules 11th and Sun is in 10th. Those celebrities are very famous and have highly famous fans.
