With this aspect, it seems that ...

Neptune may deceive the other, lie, will promise a fantastic future that only exists in the imagination but in the end Neptune will not be able to live up to these dreams.

-----------

But I am the Neptune. She, as the sun, sounds more like the neptune. So what aspect might reverse the roles of this square, that I should look for? I think she, as the sun, is making all these wonderful beautiful promises and suddenly reneging (no thanks to this "wonderful" Aries Uranus.

As well as Venus opp. Saturn.

Me being the Saturn, I am supposed to be the "cold" one and my girl, the venus in this opp., is the one who would get tired of my more scorpion ways (introverted, hidden feelings). But again, the opposite is expressed and I find I am actually frustrated with her cold practical ways as late, as the saturn. Again, why do matter seem to be reversed from what is expected, just like in the previous post?

I am trying to think this thing out ,Carl.

OK--If you are the Neptune, for example,YOU see out of Neptunes lens

Venus sees out of Venus lens.

Can you apply these ideas to your situation?

Jesus never put his trust in man cuz he knew what was in man.
He who controls his Spirit is greater than he who controls a city

I have found that in long-term or very intense/charged/important relationships (not just romantic, also familial, or longtime/intense friendships), who plays out the synastry aspect can flip back and forth. It's a very interesting thing that happens in relationships....I also see it without looking at the astrology first.

For example, with my ex (we were together 14 years, it was very intense), in the beginning I completely embodied the SATURN in our Sun-Saturn square...then it totally flipped towards the end and he was the Saturn. We had that strongly with Pluto stuff too...it's like whoever wasn't acting out the Pluto left a void, and the other would act it out...one would be obsessive and intense while the other would be more elusive, then vice-versa. We were very young--in a mature relationship, both people start out with strong compatibility and then find ways to let each other fully express their own natals/individuality. In a younger, more inexperienced...or just a more challenging...relationship, the dynamics lurking in the synastry can sort of take over both people.

I see this most often with hard aspects between slow-moving Pluto, Saturn, and Neptune in one chart and personal planets Sun, Moon, Mars, Venus in the other. If A's Pluto is square B's Venus, sometimes A will play out the Pluto in the dynamic and B will manifest the Venus, and other times it will flip. When we get very intimate with someone, both people take on the flavor of the whole relationship, which is different from each of them as individuals. I don't use composites because they're too much of a mathematical fantasy, based on midpoints rather than real planet positions, and I find them not accurate--but it makes sense in relationships that are important to both people, where they're both engaged with the dynamic, to use the synastry like a composite. Each person will express his/her natal chart, but when they merge and entangle, they will also express and take on each other's issues.

Thanks very much for your valuable input, it has helped me to understand astrology on a deeper level and I think I can approach it from different angles now.

Thanks for the personal story to display what you mean. Get it, .

Is this synastry?
I've found that Neptune really doesn't want to let the Sun person down and doesn't mean to hurt, barring other factors, they just want things to be lovely between them and to have hope. It's not meant to be cruel. I mean, these things can happen, but not just cos one person says they will, you have to work at it, either them or you.
I feel like Neptune in a lot of ways feels pressured cos the other person looks at them expecting so much and they dont want to let the other person down -right now in this moment- so they just say whatever thy have to to keep the peace. I hate being Neptune. But then I don't like it the other was either
